Exactly my thoughts! I just re-watched it to see a single scene but ended up seeing it till the end... Again I thought why I have kept it... The end really does not meet my "keep it" criteria... But I will keep it, fantasize about the end I wanted...
Though it is essentially great in all aspects except for the innumerable mistakes and stupid decisions the women made throughout the drama. One after another, they behaved so stupidly that I can't even imagine that they actually lived in this world.
In my opinion, miscommunication and "I will tell him later" syndrome is a sign of a weak writer. Considering how the leads were in such danger, it was imperative that they remained close and communicated.
- The FMC takes black box footage of the villain to get it recovered and doesn't tell her loving husband, who is also the villain's boss. Even when she suspects that he is involved with a recent death of a cared one. "I will tell him later when I am more certain..." Wow, just wow! If it was someone with a gun in the glove compartment, I would have believed, but a woman with no means of protecting herself is just ridiculous.
- At the end, some strong plot devices were created with such weak premise. Especially in the last episode, when the FMC, WALKS to her house. Who in their right mind would do so when they know a kidnapper is after them.
- The Male lead was also forced into such foolish situations that I must say the writer needs re-education about devising good plot devices. In the first half, he is shown as a bit immature but sometimes collected, intelligent person but later he just becomes dumber and dumber.
- Especially running after a killer who is known to have killed two people, without weapons or formal training in any fighting techniques in a train filled with people. I mean doesn't it trigger in his mind that making a police case would have been enough (the police caught him in the same compartment as well) or riding the train in the same stretch in which he time travels and the same day he is fated to disappear, is a tragedy waiting to happen?
I suppose they could have done with a better child character for the male lead and a more experienced writer. The child actor's dialogue is hard to make out and bland, he doesn't seem as a boy at all according the writing. It seems the accent isn't his native either thus it further makes his lines awkward. Alas! It had great potential to be in my top list.
Good drama overall. The beginning isn't very good but the second half is superb.
The last episode was too stuffy and rushed. It appeared that they tried to stuff at least 2 episodes worth of plot lines in a single episode. Thus the ending wasn't what I would have loved...
Only ~7 minutes of epilogue, really? Does the audience seem a joke to them?
Could have been longer. The pace was perfect and for the second time, I saw a K-Drama with such long journey towards love, albeit cut short by content. There were ample, hidden characters and potential plot lines to have a few more arcs. Alas!
I am a very systematic person. I rarely write reviews, and consider 10 rated reviews a plague and not worth my time. Do tell of an option to hide reviews rated above 9.5 site wide! I would gladly vote for it.
I follow a routine which allows me to have minimal risk while discovering new dramas for the most part.
- Seeker mode:
My seeker mode actually starts on a private torrent tracker, lol. I don't have legit sources in my country and outside I can't afford. So its already quite filtered to the sensibilities of the fan groups producing copies there.
So I see the summaries there and post the titles here to see the reviews.
- Doubter mode:
Its me that you will find clicking the see all reviews option and reading some of the worst reviews (<=6.5) and some of the good ones (>=8, <=9)
- Post-watcher mode:
If the drama induced some extreme feelings in me at the end, I end up in this mode. I will search out the Emotional reviews.
If unsatisfied while finding like minded people: - If the impact was extremely good, I would write a review. - Otherwise a hateful comment. - If it was a mix of both extreme good and bad, then maybe a review but not necessarily on MDL.
Anyone know where this is available in Blue ray or 720p?I'm asking cause I've seen it 3 times in 480p and would…
Well I don't know legit sources as there are none for my country and the resources available to me. Perhaps a private tracker will get you, what you want. In fact, I was considering to download a 1080p version that I came here to check out the reviews.
Very rushed but still awesome... Would have loved a longer epilogue with the leads though, all other groups got a good close comparatively. I will be keeping the series...

Just finished it. The couple was cute together especially the female lead. The male lead was outstanding. Still the overall enjoyment level didn't change much for me. I didn't get the thrill nor the want to watch each and every minute of each episode.
In comparison, I find Just Between Lovers, a much better ride in comparison to this.
Well my experience with the drama hasn't been very good. The first 6 episodes were just meh. I couldn't form a connection with the plot and the past flashbacks were very boring so I skipped almost everything and only saw the important points.
Episodes 7 onward were better but still not very good. I simply can't find myself getting immersed in the story line at all. Am now at episode 15. Its not bad enough that I would consider dropping it but not so good either that I will keep it in my collection.
idk why everyone is hyping this drama....but for sure it isn't for me, i got bored in the first episode and idk…
I also thought about dropping it by episode 3. The girl was, well, too toxic for my tastes. If I had been a drama about a vile heroin, I would have seen it with interest but the premise was far from it so I contemplated to drop it, many times while watching.
But its episode 9 now and am watching it like an addicted fanatic, skipping work and glued to the monitor of my PC.
Man... the feels are just phenomenal... I even had the urge to make IU forcefully kiss the MC in the course of the story by now...

Again I thought why I have kept it...
The end really does not meet my "keep it" criteria...

The most fun couples are of Jin Joo and Yoon Tae. I guess I will have to cut them out later at the end. The rest doesn't really appeal to me.
