Everything he touches becomes gold. For example: The drama you are watching right now, LITC, is a small budget…
Thank you for this additional insight. I asked a similar question some time ago (I believe it was another drama), but got no reply there. That book fans thing is sometimes mentioned, when the popularity of a drama is discussed. And it always confused me a bit. If one is used to sales numbers related to fandoms, signed in book fans comes slightly out of the left field. At least for me.
is Ming Xian in her prime stronger than Ji Bo Zai? spoiler please!!
Their power level would have been equally. But when you watch their dynamic while dealing with the villains and the various threats, she seems to be the slightly smarter and more strategic fighter of these 2. She started at 13 in the tournament. She was obviously a prodigy.
I just watched ep 23, im dying this whole eps, should i continue or just wait until the angst is gone LOLLLL i…
Watch episode 24. Pay attention to the stills at the end of that episode. Then watch the preview for tomorrow. And I am optimistic for you, that you will live another day afterwards. (I do 😅)
According to the next week schedule poster Mao 😺 27 is back on Friday ep 21-22
My interpretation too. Earlier would be nice, because I will miss their talks and the bromance in between, but the healing will probably take their time like in the novel.
Ji Bozai is so dumb. Everyone knows the truth except him! After everything Ming Yi has done, he still doubts her.…
My impression is, that his actions towards her are mostly driven by hurt after her perceived betrayal of his trust. Rightfully so. She has her reasoning for her behavior, but until then he didn’t know them. (The shed scene cleared that up big time.) I think that his trust took a serious hit, but isn’t broken on a fundamental level. He clearly sensed the whole time, that she kept things hidden. Because he isn’t an idiot. He said at one time, that he doesn’t forget things. He knew, that some things with her story weren’t adding up. And the fact, that he still followed her multiple times and helped her (reluctantly), shows, that he lowkey knows, she isn’t selfish enough to do this without a deeper reason. That he only now connects the final dots - women were never warriors before, and when he checked her the first night at his home he didn’t detect any signs (these suppressing nails) of spiritual veins in her. Well, that changed now with him seeing her in action in the abyss. That probably confirmed his rising suspicions about her identity.
just my two cents about Ming Yi's actions, and character analysislooking back at how she grew up abandoned by…
I expect, that we will get her backstory in the remaining episodes. Until now we had only the first episode and some meager glimpses. But the torture spell was telling already, that her upbringing was rough too. I read some final chapters of the novel, and there she and JBZ couldn’t really decide, who of them had it rougher growing up. But with all the changes for the screen version, let’s see, how it plays out. I am really looking forward to more information of her former life.
I am crushing quite a bit on our female lead. She might not hold a weapon (at the moment?) and comes packaged as a small fairy. But woah, is she a badass under that flowery fluffiness. The shown mental strength in episode 19, her strategic and fast thinking mind, her selfless readiness to show up and help and defend her friends and people - I am fangirling. Add her inventing devices all the time (compass, mirror, fan, umbrella a.s.o.) - our brainy girl is a force to be reckoned with. Her poisoned body might not hold the capacity of her warrior days, but she still uses all the methods, which are at her disposal. Extensive knowledge, cleverness, martial arts skills and even the last power of her dying spiritual veins. I am wondering btw, why nobody questioned her martial arts skills yet. And yes, I would have preferred, she would have explained herself today and told the truth. But I hold my judgement until after tomorrow. Hopefully the drama gives her a fast recovery after receiving the antidote. I want to see her in full MX mode at least once. 😅 Lu Yu Xiao. My compliments to your amazing acting to give that character life. 👏👏👏
On Viki I found it under WOF, but with that typical obscure “Coming soon”. 🙄
It really is linked to “The Dragon Chant”.
Didn’t pop up under WOF before on IQiyi.

But what I really want to ask: what or who are these 83 book fans? Where comes that number from?

Let’s give a loving couple some privacy, LOL
