Screams low budget but so far fun to watch. The overall vibe reminds me of “The Eternal Love” drama. The FL there tried to have just a good time, too. 🤣
I don’t recall the exact number of her closed subordinates but there were quite a few that died because of He…
Thank you! That would answer the question what happened to her loyal subordinates as a general. Her personality and abilities creates loyalty within the people around her. Look at her fellow recruits. Some of her old circle would have rebelled against the change behind the mask. She and her brother are too different in character and mannerisms.
I have a question for someone who read the novel: What 7? 8? men was the brother musing about as he was scheming his next treacherous moves? Her former inner circle during her time as the general?
And she's cooking and trying to sew in episode 20, but why is she doing that? He's not even a man in her family.
Imo that part made sense. She’s supposed to try to live to the fullest now besides becoming a general again. Most of her life she suppressed interests beyond military or got scolded for it. Now she can try out things. Obviously needlework, cooking and mending were her choices during/after spending time among these women. And since he was her first love and she loves him still - of course she does things for him. She gave it a try and obviously she shouldn’t quit being a soldier. LOL The last episodes showed that she is more of a tomboy. If by nature or her upbringing, who knows.
Congrats to Ryan Cheng for gaining almost 500.000 new followers 👏🏻🥳💕Fans complimented him for perfectly…
The acting of both actors for the MC are on point. Her effortless switching between cheeky sly brattiness and battle ready strategically thinking warrior plus him showing us a reserved, tactical thinking leader with a seemingly stoic demeanor but full of micro expressions, which are telling us what’s going in his mind. These are some serious acting skills on display. I am surprised the ML hasn’t more leading roles in his resume until today.
I'm currently reading the novel, and while it's still very early, the He Yan in the drama is very similar in temperament…
Thank you for your insights from the novel. Ngl, I didn’t expect so much easygoing fluffiness and after 1/3 of the 16th episode I definitely started to miss the warrior. But on the other hand I thoroughly enjoyed their verbal sparring while fake smiling at each other and the (more or less) concealed flirting. 😅 And at the end of the 17th episode I thought these parts were necessary to close the deal about their relationship regarding trustworthiness and friendship with love in the making. And the teaser for episode 19 shows her back in soldier armor. 💪
I read that the ABO series is being taken down from various platforms (I don't know if that's true or not, because…
Nuh. That are my guesses, too. There are BTS scenes with that waterbed, which hinted at more than just talk, cuddles and a smoke. LOL (In the novel CC takes WW to town) But I can live with that, as long as the overall storyline isn’t impacted. And I want that after this drama is aired my boys are imagewise undamaged and flourishing with a career boost. If the production takes some steps back to reduce the negative heat for them - good.
I need to praise both lead actors. TXN might be the slightly more seasoned actor of them, but they are both acting the h*** out that script! I am seriously impressed. Both are showing a level of emotions through their eyes - you can read a whole book with varying stages and chapters of different feelings in them. Admirable! No overacting. Instead well placed subtle mimics and gestures in addition to their eyes. Except of course in scenes when a bit more overall energy is required. I am so looking forward to the next episodes.
