I have to agree with you on CLS. One of the comments below someone explained how CLS is essentially HF's true love. The most heartbreaking thing is that HF realized this too late otherwise he would've returned back to the Poison King Valley with her and settled in her home. Plus CLS had no reason to follow HF other than the fact that she wants to be around him and to help him find out who killed his parents. I see this as a sign that she is willing to go against her duties as a the next Poison Master and to follow her heart. This was something Ziyi could not act on which is why she succumbed to her sect and has to live with regret.

A good story is usually never a Disney ending. This show is great in displaying the cold reality of what fate and karma has in store. It's been a day and I still can't get over this drama.
