They just wrapped it up quickly and said goodbye. But I'm quite impressed that they put this in the drama. I didn't even expect that they would have given it the time that they actually did. I guess with 40 episodes, they think this theme doesn't need to take more time from the main plot 😐 the rapist had an easy and quick death, he should have suffered more, but at least the women he harmed don't need to live in fear of seeing him ever again.

I'm laughing so much at the frolicking in the fields 🤣🤣🤣🤣. But yes, FL is a great character. Maybe she didn't need to interfere (but only because it was putting her in harm's way), but she was thinking she was helping and saving people as she is literally going against the man who tried to kill her. My only complaint would be that she's a bit too comfortable next to her assassin. I mean, how does she manage to always be so calm? (I mean in the episodes where he literally wanted her six feet underground.) But I applaud her for being so thick-skinned 😅 f*cks given? Zero

I already watched it because I always spoil myself with OST videos, even when I don't want to, because I am weak and I cannot help myself. 😅🤣

I don't think he is in love with her yet, and I'm only on episode 17. He does start to appreciate her caring for the little people and not turning a blind eye to others' suffering, etc. All the things I guess he wanted but never got from the world when he was at his lowest, and he is attracted to her. I'm not sure if he is really realising it, but he doesn't see her as a threat anymore. After wanting to kill her, now he wants to protect her. 😅😐😑

Yes, if you can watch ML trying to get rid of the eyewitness (FL) for nine episodes. Afterward, the dynamic shifts completely. The story is good, FL is good, ML is interesting but cruel in his mission, and the 2ML is manipulative. But the story is interesting all the time. The characters are grey except for the doctor and FL, who are very caring so i guess for the slow burn romance part it is enemies to allies of circumstances to friends to lovers 🤔

I think the changes they've made so far are good for the drama, as they work better for it... so I just hope they will stop this PY madness and obsession with her, and I hope those promos are only misleading. 😅

I think it is because he saved her life, and she feels grateful and wants to help. Also, she thinks that PY is completely righteous while the other one is not. But she doesn't blindly trust him; she can see the things PY is doing, but out of gratitude, she is giving him the benefit of the doubt. In time, when WZ finally stops trying to kill her and is no longer a threat to her, she starts to discover more about him and understands where he stands with what he is trying to accomplish. At the same time, she is getting to know more of PY's character outside of his gentlemanly persona from episode to episode, especially the last ones.

Yes, they are good, and I much prefer it when these kinds of characters don't fight over a woman and instead become friends and allies. I hope it will eventually happen in the drama, and PY won't go down the road of a crazy obsessed stalker

I think they added a bit more of their interactions before he saw her at the festival in the drama. He didn't fall for her only because she was good-looking. They did interact before, but he hadn't seen her face-to-face. I think they didn't in the novel, but I really can't remember 😅

I'm so happy they are doing such a great job because I like all three of them from other dramas. 🥰

Did he know he was a prince? I'm curious if he will have the same background in the drama. Maybe it is better if he doesn't, better not to have anything to do with the royal family. 😅

LW was amazing in LLTG, and I did enjoy ZL as the FL too. However, especially in the beginning, her character felt too childish for someone like him. It wouldn’t have been a problem if he hadn’t already been in love with her; it almost felt like he was grooming her because she was so naive and behaved like a preteen. Luckily, that changed in the second part, but I would have preferred it if he had fallen for her a bit later (that was the only thing that i didnt like). Still, they were amazing together regardless. The Emperor was so cute as a matchmaker; he is my second favourite emperor ever. 🥰😍

Even in the drama, he appears to be a very broken person, avoiding being touched on many occasions, etc. For PY, I do wish they would deviate from the novel and make him less creepy with FL, especially if their ultimate goal is to make him the emperor. But who knows what we will get. By the way, there are dramas where I liked some changes. For example, in The Long Ballad, I really preferred the ML from the drama than the one in the comic. In the drama, he is literally the most perfect ML ever to be on screen for me, and Leo Wu was fantastic in that role, and the styling of his hair and tribal clothes made him look amazing. 😆 I liked his character, appearance, and the way he was doing the fighting scenes... so good

Everyone is talking about FL, but no one is talking about how Doctor Cui is becoming increasingly disappointed in his Lord, whom I suppose he cherished and had faith in over the years 🥲

However, he is not the only victim of the over-brushing post-production; they all are, regardless of age. Some dramas he acted in were so bad and simply not for an actor of his kind, especially those like silly period rom-coms that required no acting. I understand he was feeling at odds with the roles they were giving him

Dramas are always the censored, lighter versions of novels, and they’re really two different beasts. Maybe PY in the novel is a brilliant and clever strategist, but as a man toward a woman, he’s just a big no. His controlling and overprotective nature is like an illness of the mind, which, unfortunately, couldn’t be addressed by a professional in that time period. He might be a great son, friend, or politician, but as a partner, he’s way too toxic. Maybe if the FL was the type of woman who accepted the role of being a bird in a cage, living solely to serve her husband, never questioning him, and existing only to give him descendants,then perhaps he could manage a relationship. But for anyone with self-respect and independence? Absolutely not.Even in the drama, he gives off such a bad vibe that when he came to take her and Ayan, I genuinely felt the danger. Honestly, I’d probably do the same as her—seek protection from the man who tried to kill me multiple times just to get away from him. And that, in itself, is pretty disturbing 😐. I like the ML’s character, but if I were the FL, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near him. Yet, in that scene, I would have definitely hidden behind the guy who previously tried to murder me just to avoid PY!

Ugh... One and Only and its sequel felt too disjointed for me, so I ended up dropping it. I just couldn’t see the modern versions of the characters as the same people they were in the past. One and Only was so heartbreaking, and for me, reincarnation doesn’t change that. People are defined by their memories, interactions, and the bonds they form in their lives. Without those, even if they have the same soul, they’re entirely different people. If i recall only she got some memories from theor past lives
