My problem is that they decided to give him this controlling behaviour that we see in toxic men in our times. This hits too close to home and makes him very undesirable. From the spoilers from the novel, he never improves (in his interactions with her), and that is a shame. I hope they will change that in the drama, and if they don't, I hope they will just kill him off at the end. 😅 But yes, he is in a tough spot, and if he didn't try to possess FL like an object, I would be more sympathetic and would probably like him more

Me too, that's his number one quality. I remember a long time ago when everyone was praising him as an actor or saying he looked handsome, and I was thinking, "Meh, he's not even that attractive." Then I watched Under the Power, and he was so good as that character that I instantly changed my mind. I do like him now and watch almost all of his dramas. I did drop a few, but not because of him; they were just bad dramas. 😅

I just can’t get over one thing, when they asked Ayan, 'Does the signature and fingerprint look like your father’s?' Like, seriously? 🙄 Oh sure, I can totally recognize the exact lines and curves of my father’s fingertip patterns, no problem! 😂🤣 Ah, old papa. Definitely him!

You will need to endure at least three more episodes before some things start changing. But it is a good drama, regardless of the morally gray male characters. It has an interesting story and a good FL. I actually love all the three main cast but still had low expectations, but now I'm really into it. 😅

Haha, I think you're right! 😄 Sometimes it feels like AI has more imagination. I fell like many writers (whether female or male) seem to have this desire to be pursued by an army of admirers through their protagonists. It's like living out a fantasy where everyone is hopelessly in love with them 😅

She is amazing, she really has this evil poker face where you don't know what she will do, hope to see her character more

I am living in a delusional land where they will not make him fall for the FL like in every drama, and he will be her best friend in the world and will have his own love story. 😆😅 I think in the trailer it looked almost as if there are multiple couples, but maybe I remember wrong. But hoping they will not kill everybody by the end 😅

No, I justify him because he’s right. His priority is saving his people and bringing justice to those who hurt them. Why should he let the guilty continue living their happy lives while his people are suffering—enslaved, forced into prostitution, or dead?

In reality, the poor and weak ones are always wiped from existence, so I hope that at least in fiction I can see the victims win, not always being the ones who need to endure and turn the other cheek in the name of peace when the oppressor is the one winning and losing the least. And if ML dies i really need 2ML to die too 🫢

He saved her, and he likes her. That's the only thing he cares about, so for him, she is his property. I guess for that time period, a lower-born like her should be honored to be noticed by a man like him, and that's how he sees it, I suppose 😒

She doesn’t seem too bothered by it. At one point, she even says, "You tried to kill me three times, and you saved me three times, so we’re even." I’m trying to imagine myself in her place—I hold grudges forever, even for petty things! But I think they’re doing a great job of shifting our perception of him as the episodes progress because once he started to know her, he changed his behavior. The same is happening with the 2ML, but he’s starting to show more of his negative side. How will she fall for him? Let’s see. I sometimes ask myself how some of my friends fell for some guys that I really found terrible. 😅 I do find the ML an interesting character but not sure if i would if i was the FL 🤔

P.S. I think only after episodes 9 or 10 does the relationship between the leads start to shift. They go out of their way to show you the other side of his character, and considering the things he did to her, they are doing a good job of making you feel more for him. On the other hand, they show more of the other side of PY too. Would we fall for any of these guys? Probably not 🤔😅 but I guess it is a different time and what both of them do is more forgivable in that kind of environment than it would be in 2024

I really miss seeing genuine male/female friendships in this kind of drama. It’s always an army of men falling in love with the same woman, and it’s getting so boring. I’m still holding out hope that he’ll have his own story and love interest by the end. I actually like his character, and that’s why I’m rooting for him! I want him to be her best friend 😆😆😆😆
