That's what I thought at the beginning, but they are different actresses, and they said his sister died in childbirth. Her master is one of these Yan sisters who were involved when one of the princes disappeared years ago, so they were part of some kind of conspiracy at the court

Wie Zhao is 100 times more bad than PY. PY hasn't shown any eveliness yet but you are hell bent to make him a…
Yeah, he doesnโ€™t have any right to kill someone innocent, but from his perspective, she represents a real threat to not only his mission but to all the people relying on him. By not getting rid of her or controlling her, he's potentially putting countless lives in danger. Is it morally questionable? Absolutely. But is it the same as the 'villain'? No, itโ€™s not. I do believe that while murder, manslaughter, or murder with intent all result in the same outcome, the motivations and circumstances behind them matter and are not equivalent.

That said, in historical dramas, we see our main characters kill or eliminate anyone who stands in their way or threatens them, but often these are faceless individuals weโ€™re not meant to care about. No one asks who they are, why theyโ€™re there, or what their backstory is. But when the person being targeted is a character weโ€™ve come to know, especially one from the main cast, thatโ€™s when people start to draw the line and question the morality of it all. So is the ML the bad one or the 2ML? Who is worse? In this era, it seems to be just a matter of perspective. FL doesn't seem to consider either of them evil, but I guess she can relate more to ML because it involves civilians rather than family prestige

I started it with low expectations. After I watched a few episodes of another drama that was so disappointing, I started this one thinking it would be ๐Ÿ’ฉ, even though I like all the actors/actresses from the main cast. But surprise! It is good! And now I need to wait daily for new episodes. ๐Ÿฅฒ

Yes, trailers can be misleading, but it seems they will start getting close, and he will use her to find the master, and then she will get angry and slap him. But sometimes, they cut trailers and promos to make us believe something different. Who knows. Still, I prefer that he continues his mission despite the fact that he might start having feelings for her. I think if he wants to find her master, he needs to use her, as she will never tell him where the master is because she could put her in danger

Title Love of Nirvana Spoiler
my question is how is JC going to fall in love with him after he attempted TWICE to nearly kill her, this is really…
He will do more ๐Ÿ˜‘ but she seems like the type of person who would only feel truly hurt if it was done by someone she has a personal connection with. Since he was just an assassin she didn't know at first, I think she might have some sort of dissociation between the version of him who repeatedly tried to kill her and the person she got to know later. Itโ€™s almost as if she separates the two, and that might help her process the situation differently than if he had always been close to her and tried to hurt her

from one of the trailers...
It seems like she's going to get deeply hurt because the ML is going to use her to find her master. On one hand, I respect that he's staying committed to his mission and honoring the people who died for him to seek revenge and save their city. It shows he's true to himself and his purpose. But on the other hand, considering how close they're getting, it's painful to think about how much she'll suffer, especially knowing that she'll feel used and that her master will be put in danger because of it. But I'm happy he will not falter. ๐Ÿ˜… Does that make me a bad person?

Pei Yan seriously triggers me in the worst way. He's completely obsessed with her, constantly trying to control her actions as if she belongs to him. Even if they were in a relationship, his behaviour would be unacceptable, but they're not, which makes it even worse (if possible considering that his obsession is not normal). His presence feels suffocating, and I would honestly go crazy in her situation. At the start of the show, I thought he'd be a complex, morally gray character driven by loyalty to his family, but instead, he comes across with disturbing stalker vibes, and I can't find anything redeeming about him in his interactions with her

so just finding out that the actor playing Pei Yan has retired from acting earlier this year. I haven't looked…
Slow burn is my guilty pleasure. ๐Ÿ˜† As for the actor, I read somewhere that it was because he was unhappy with the roles he was getting and generally with his management agency. He had enough and will change his career path

I would prefer he doesnโ€™t do any kiss scenes since he has that policy. He is a good actor with expression intensity…
Some faded kiss from a distance or half-seen would be perfect. But with chemistry and intensity leading up to it and after it, even if we don't see anything. Just no lips from doubles like in Under the Power ๐Ÿ˜… or those anime like kisses. I was even okay with the kiss being obscured by the candle in The Double because their chemistry was ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿฅต

Red flag or not a red flag. I was writing a long post about this, but I accidentally deleted it ๐Ÿ˜… and I honestly can't be bothered to rewrite the whole thing. To me, heโ€™s not a red flag. He would be if she were his friend or lover, but sheโ€™s literally a nobody, just a problem to solve. We all enjoy watching our main characters kill off faceless enemies, but it only becomes an issue when the person in question is part of the main cast.
Also, would we, with our 2024 morality and mindset, be able to forgive someone who tried to kill us? Probably not. But the context of the drama's time period is different. If the writers handle it well, I could definitely believe she might fall for a man like him. As for now, the only red flag in the making is PY, as he formed a bond with FL and is overpowering her and taking her decision-making power from her. If ML starts doing the same now from episode 13 onwards (as they finally made a connection), he will be a red flag too.

I was hoping for some kind of enemies-to-friends-to-lovers slow burn or allies-to-lovers, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like something like that will happen. It seems more like lovers-to-enemies from the last trailer. Oh well, it doesn't matter; I still can't wait for it to come out ๐Ÿ˜‰

I was about to start this one, but my goodness, these tropes are so bad... and the childhood connection one makes me always cringe so much. The drama needs to be super amazing for me to close an eye on this trope... not sure this drama is that good. ๐Ÿฅฒ

These few episodes of CXZ chasing his wife and trying to coax her back is all good and all... But is anyone also…
In general, I'm not a fan of this kind of comedy when it is overdone, but that's how the drama was set from the beginning. It is just a bit weird as she is acting as if it is a very serious drama and he is acting like he is in a comedy, so it is not really to my liking. If he needs to be silly to this point, she needs to be in some comedic moments too, but no. I don't know. I find it a bit underwhelming, but it is what it is. At least both characters are very likable all the time

Title Are You the One Spoiler
I understand Lmts anger on cxz..but what is the problem with that chick he zhen?i mean why she put a show, when…
Her family tried to force her into a marriage with ZQ, so she ran away from everything and started her own business. In his interactions with HZ, he always used her because he needed something for CXZ, but he also did try to help her too. So she kind of likes him too, but he also represents what she was running from. P.S. She is not really angry with him; that's how they usually interact.
