I'm not even sure if he is completely aware of how much he cares for her, but he is getting a glimpse of the fact that it won't end well once she knows the truth. So, he is stalling, making excuses, and welcoming every interruption with open arms. As much as I enjoyed their funny slice of life together, it is time for the story to move forward. Both of them are not 100% themselves: she because she doesn't have three years of her memories, and he because he is pretending to be this dandy/talentless husband. Then the most important thing: everything is standing on lies upon lies. They need to move towards the next arc, or else we will have one of those shows where they condense everything in the last few episodes 😱😱😱

He will get so buried under it. 🙄 I'm a bit behind in watching right now (episode 11), but I'm sure he still didn't come clean and won't at this point until she doesn't catch up with his lies. I was hoping he would say something once Lu Wen was untouchable and her being the pawn wasn't really a thing anymore, but no, he just doesn't want this illusion to end. Wish she would discover the truth before she regains all of her memories

He is capable of making his own decisions or mistakes, whichever you want to call them. I don't like her simply because she is the kind of character I really don't like, but it is not her fault for being forced to marry the Prince and have a child with him, or for her lover doing everything he has done to get her back. Just in general, these tropes (or storytelling shortcuts) are not for me, but whatever, I am still enjoying it 😎

Yue Yao was so happy about it. Imagine how annoying it would be to be loved just because you're pretty. And he was so happy that he fell for the same person twice (and the second time was the one that counted, even for him). 😊

I wish they had written her love story better to make it more appealing and developed her into a more interesting character. She comes across as a white lotus type, and the actress often looks half asleep rather than sad. However, I don't understand why people would hate her. She was practically sold by her family to the Prince and is a victim of the situation. So what if she has children from two different men? Even if she wanted it, which she didn't, one child was born out of love and the other out of duty, essentially forced upon her.

Better for the snake. They forgot about it while it was recuperating from its injuries. More screen time, more possibility of death. Go, giant snake, and hide, hoping they forgot you for good! 😅

I liked that he fell for her genuinely without knowing who she was. Much better than the love-at-first-sight thing. 😅 So I'm happy with this development

I was laughing so hard. I thought the suit was some special technique he was using and that the boys would just make it deflate while fighting him or something along those lines for comic relief... but no... the muscle suit was serious. 😅

It is great to have a variety of reviews, as they allow people to form their own opinions by considering both positive and negative aspects. One does not need to watch the entire drama to have an opinion, and not everything can be to everyone's taste. The diversity of reviews helps viewers draw their own conclusions about the drama. It is important to accept that not everything in life can receive only positive feedback. I read a lot of negative reviews about my favourite dramas, but, hey, we are all different; much better than people who just leave a very negative review without even reviewing it properly, just because they hate some actor or actress. So, in this case, I don't see any problem. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I first saw the trailer of the drama and read the synopsis, I was expecting them to travel together, learn together, etc and then slowly get on different paths, making us all feel desperate and sad. But like this, I don't feel that connection to their friendship because, at the end of the day, as of now, it is only based on their childhood experiences shown in a couple of scenes

When he spoke to the emperor a few episodes ago as if he were talking to a petulant child, I just loved him from that moment. "I am an immortal. A mortal emperor like you should stop bothering me," and then he walked away like a king. 🤭 of course now in his younger version it is even better 🤣🤣🤣🤣

As usual, these kinds of romance tropes make me want to go and contact all the male besties I had as a child, as they all have to be my beloved ones. And every guy who saw me and wanted me "at first sight," they as well have to be my destined ones. Ciao people, I'm going to live by cdrama tropes, but now I need to build my harem as I'm not sure which one was the right one. 😁 PS. For a drama with a slight romance tag, I feel there is too much badly written romance 🥲 I know that for the second CP, it is the catalyst plot device for the story, but still...

The characters are likable, there is a lot of comedy, and the story is simpler and lighter so far. A lot of CGI during the battles, very visually pleasing, different from TBOY overall
