You forget that there is another place that is suffering, not only these two big countries. He is from that place, from the place that has suffered injustice and about which nobody cares. I do understand his point of view, for example. In all this peace talk, his people are not taken into consideration. What is right or wrong in these kinds of situations depends on where you live and where you come from. Merely being alive but being treated as animals, slaves, and prostitutes is not a life. I don't know what the situation is in the novel, but for now, from the drama's point of view, I can't make myself condone what he and his people are doing. As for the romance part, that is another story

I never understood why in dramas they never tell the truth to the protagonist and never prepare them for the harshness of the world. I think her shifu should have done more for her to ensure her safety, as the peaceful life on the mountains was doomed to be temporary

I know, but I don't really trust what actors say. How many times were we told it is a HE, and then we get an OE that doesn't even make logical sense? And as well, if it has to be SE for the ML, I want an SE for the 2ML too. 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, he doesn't get the girl, but he got everything that he ever wanted in the novel. Let's face it, he got a better deal. Ps. I have your hopes too fpr a HE even if it is only a glimmer of hope 😅

Noooooo, I was so happy that for once a 3ml was really her friend and there was no romance there, but it seems they always go on the same route of reverse harem type, where they use all the available men until there is one left 😅 Can't we ever have any friendship between FL and a clever and attractive man????? 😅🤣😂

I cant believe PY will be all over her until almost the end! Wtf. Hope they changed a loooooot in the drama at this point. Im happy she is free but that took too long in the novel

It does have SE vibes: Ayan talking about missing someone you can never meet, the story about good beginnings and bad endings. But it might still be an open ending with some not-so-logical last scene open to interpretation. I would rather have an SE at that point. 😅 I do prefer HE as life is already full of SE, so, I don't like having to be miserable when watching entertainment.. Regardless, my biggest fear is always one: an open ending with some stupid poetic scene

She wants to be reunited with her shifu, and for her, that is a priority over her own safety. 🥲 I would have run away and then tried an alternative way to meet the shifu. So if I were the FL, my story would end very quickly. 🤣😅

I always ask this when I haven't read the novel. But now, what is even the point of asking when, many times, novels have a happy ending and then they change the drama's ending to some open ending that doesn't make logical sense? 🥲🥲🥲🥲 I hope this one will not be one of those; I don't know if I can stay sane if I see an open ending. 🤣

It doesn't seem like she minds puttong her hands all.over him. As for red flags, I don't really see the ML as one because, when he tried to kill her, they were complete strangers with no connection whatsoever. He's definitely a morally grey character, but that's different. The real red flag is the other one, who already has an emotional connection with her. By today’s standards, his behavior would be a huge red flag, but considering the time period, when upper-class men viewed women—especially those from the lower class—as lesser beings, so he is not even really a red flag for that era 😐 But at least FL can see beyond the time period 😅

I’d rather kill him and face execution than spend my life as his concubine slave. I couldn't stand his overbearing, paternalistic ways, constantly trying to control and dominate, even writing about it makes me want to strangle him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm sure she will manage to run away from him

When they romanticise something like that, it is so, so sick, and a lot of novels (not only Thai) do that, and than they make dramas out of it

It was such a disgusting practice, and knowing that many countries upheld it until relatively recently makes it even more disturbing. For instance, Italy only repealed its law allowing reparation marriages in 1981, and Spain abolished similar practices in 1992. Even more shockingly, Morocco repealed its law in 2014, and Jordan followed in 2017
