There was this one episode that ended with him being surprised, and it was funny when it wasnt suppose to be 😆 but like you said, even with these little hiccups, the show is still enjoyable, ML included 😄

The issue with harem or reverse harem stories is that, often, characters fall in love with the main characters without sufficient development or justification. In harem stories, female characters are frequently portrayed in a one-dimensional manner, serving primarily as accessories to the male protagonist. Similarly, a lot of reverse harems have the same problem. That's why I try to avoid shows with those tags, but sometimes I can't resist the temptation when the story and production seem too interesting. 😅

I'll put it on my to-watch list and I'll try a few episodes after I finish the other dramas I'm currently watching. So many things i want to watch, so little free time 🥲

She's great! And ML as well, and I hope they won't ruin them in the upcoming episodes, but I am optimistic because the show does not solely focus on their relationship. There are many other interesting aspects and storylines, so I hope they avoid unnecessary romantic drama

In my personal opinion, Jing Yi is better than him. While I appreciate his portrayal of the character, I believe he could benefit from additional training to enhance his emotional expressions, particularly in moments of shock or surprise. 😅 Overall, in this production, it is okay, I guess

Love the review, as it helped me decide to drop it. 😆 I had it on hold for a while as I didn't have time to watch it and wasn't really impressed with it. I would have watched it regardless if it was shorter, but the cons are the ones I hate so much. I really do hate these kinds of FLs and forced love stories. Please don't put a badly written love story in shows that can exist without it just fine!

P.S. As for the "cackling," at some point, it becomes really ridiculous. We don't know how to tell you a character is evil, so let them cackle like an anime character from the '90s. 😆

Hello. Is it worth watching? I managed to finish Sword and Fairy 4, but only because it made me feel like I was playing some old JRPG game. I dropped Sword and Fairy (the one with Xu Kai). Also, during that period, there were almost no dramas to watch. 😅 I just saw that this one was released, so I was wondering if it is any good 🤔

I was not particularly impressed with the trailer and the overall vibe of the show. I came to the comments section to see what other people's opinions are, but it doesn't seem like it is something so amazing to watch. Also, there are many other dramas airing during this time period, and I have limited time to watch them all, so I guess I'm skipping this one, at least for now.

I really like a FL who is calm and logical. She didn't have any emotional outbursts when she discovered his identity, and she had this calmness of mind in which she could weigh his rights and wrongs and evaluate the overall situation. It was refreshing

expecially when there is no new episodes on the weekend 🥲

I'm on episode 18. Did Furong make a move on Mofang? I'm a bit confused about some of the conversations if he didn't 😅. I like that ShenLi had enough of the Ancient God's push and pull game, and that she can see through his behaviours. Not sure if he is completely clueless about how he is acting or he just can't stop himself (duty against what he really feels)

Finally, the Easter holidays are here, so I can watch in peace! I'm so behind, today at episode 17. The ML's old deity/reincarnated friend gives me such creepy vibes in both of his reincarnations. 😅 Let me indulge in my obsession over a younger, very immature girl that I groomed (in the first life) or watched grow up as a little sister (in the second life). I hope not to see any of him and his icky love triangle in future episodes 😅

Let us hope that they do not alter the happy ending to an open or sad ending as they really have the tendency to do so 😅

Yikes. Typical ML, like in a lot of Chinese novels. I wanted to read the novel as I wished to see a more serious version of the story (as the show seems fluffed up), but I don’t know with this piece of information. So the show then feels like their second life, in which he has a glimpse of what he was in the novel. 😅

Can you tell me about the novel? Is it well-written? The show is light and fluffy for the most part, but I felt like the story could have been more serious in the novel. Is that the case? I'm enjoying the show even though this kind of comedy and some cringey over-the-top scenes aren't my favorites, but it is entertaining so far (I'm only on episode 8) and it is much better than what it looked like in promos. as well the characters are likable

Nothing can be as dark as The Long Night episode in GOT 😅😅

😆 I know. That was my thought process to explain the scene 🤣🤣🤣 There were only two possible explanations, as it was too obvious that the character was anything but a Yoda-style elderly person 😂
