I mean, aesthetically, the show looked good, and the actors did a great job with what they were given. If they had gone for a very lighthearted show, the plot holes and inconsistencies wouldn't have bothered me as much as they did... I think. Maybe. Perhaps. Who knows? 😅🤣

I don't know why neither he or Zhang Tian Ai has more projects lined up

She has a nice collection 🤣. Unfortunately, he did dare to, and that is how he lost her forever (the title was taken by another drama, so they gave this show a lame name). I guess this drama is a different take on the theme of how to lose your woman in few steps

Probably like in the last five minutes or so of Episode 36, just before she leaves.

If they had stuck to the initial concept and not added too many things, it could have been a good drama. Maybe one day someone will take up the novel again and make another adaptation.

For a drama I didn’t like, I watched it without skipping anything 🙂. For the lighting, I just didn’t like how lit the forest was during the last TSY fight. It should have been less obvious, but overall, everything in terms of cinematography was great

It felt like 20 writers were writing parts of the story without ever communicating between them, and then they just meshed it together and hoped for the best

He is the former crown prince's son (adopted, but it is a secret). The old emperor loved him anyway and wanted him to inherit the throne when he grew up.

Instead of putting that useless dream sequence at the end of episode 35 or all those flashbacks, they could have spent some time on the plot 🥲

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I mean, it didn't seem like she disliked his persistence over the years. It would have been better if they had given him some screen time during this show by himself and in his interactions with her. 😅 But they preferred that weird, star-crossed, forced romance with the emperor

Darth Vader is completely off the table for her; there is not even a 1% chance of her caring for him as a man or person. I liked that he was, as usual, justifying himself for his past deeds, but she didn't want to hear any of that bullsh*t.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You have four episodes to go through in one go! P.S. Well, if she wants him, he made it clear he was willing to be taken, so it is up to her what she wants in the future. So it can be interpreted like an open ending for them

I'm confused by that part, but don't have time to rewatch and see if I missed something. So when you watch, pay attention and let me know. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

He became a marquis; he still wants to marry her, but she doesn't want to. He said he can wait for her to decide and to come find him if she does want him. Something along these lines. Of course he was in these two episodes for less than a minute

And if the writers needed an excuse to kill him, they could have gone with the old trope: the general was too well-liked by the people and had too much military power, some might even say he was the real emperor. Then he was killed off. It would have made more sense.

It was a mess. They added the ending to match the one from the novel, but here it just didn't feel like the right one. She just left the town/border she was supposed to protect just because Beimo MIGHT not attack them because of the internal power struggle. Also, she left the little boy (who after 3 years never aged) whom she took with her in the first place so he can reach adulthood alive. The last part of episode 36 was some kind of lighthearted comedy. 🤨 The CQ part was as disappointing as I predicted. The only positive thing was that she finally saw the emperor for what he is. I guess that's about it. The acting was also weird. Oh, and Beimo reaching a deal with Nanxia for 10 years just because they wanted the FL's father dead... Beimo, who was winning every time they attacked Nanxia... why would they even agree? If they wanted to, they could have killed the general themselves. I just can't...
