You pretty much voiced my sentiments exactly. I'm impressed you finished. I actually dropped it at episode 14 because I just couldn't anymore. There are so many better Jdramas out there that I just don't get the hype with this one.
I haven't watched many Kdramas, but I think Love Revolution seriously needs a second season. So much was just not wrapped up with the secondary characters. So sad!

There's a reason why she drops the SML. She's the type of girl who wants someone who follows through on what he's feeling and doesn't back out halfway, which is what happened to her with the SML. I love him, buuuuuuuut, he put his career ahead of a romantic relationship whereas the ML pretty much wasn't going to make the same mistake. I'd have picked the ML too in those circumstances.
It's actually a great drama. You should at least give it a try, remembering that it's a slow-build. It was fun for me, anyway, loved probably 80% of it.
Excited to see how Park Ji Hoon does with this role. I think it'll be a stretch for him and will prove whether he's a multi-faceted actor or not. I'm good either way since I just like him.

My main issue atm is the lipstick they put Park Ji Hoon in. I mean, it doesn't even go with his skin tone. 😳 I'm sure they put Jdrama actors in lipstick too, but the color always seems natural, never BOOM, HE'S WEARING LIPSTICK. So the blatant lipstick on men is taking some adjusting.

Yeah, no, there's no fairytale happily ever after for people with certain types of disorders. That literally is nothing but a fairytale. Thanks for your honest review. I'm still trying to decide if I want to watch this one or not, but I'm leaning towards nope. I feel that people can heal from physical abuse like in At a Distance, Spring is Green, but genuine disorders are a whole other thing.

There is also the possibility that there are a lot of other genres/tags out there for people to watch and enjoy. And that they should be allowed to try something, find out they don't like it and try something else. Not loving this drama does not immediately translate to someone having the mentality of a child. I'm just saying that someone should be able to say they don't get the hype of a certain popular drama without being told that they should plug in Cinderella because that's clearly more their speed.
Well, that's just sad. I just now realized that my completed list has pretty much nothing in the "friends to lovers" department. Oh, there are the pinings of one-sided love that goes nowhere, usually from the SML (I'm looking at YOU "The Love Equations"), but nothing that's a true friends-to-lovers story.

I'm super happy to report that I actually really liked this one a lot. AND, I get why Manaha chose who she did. I wouldn't have made her choice, but that's totally me, and not her. It was really a pretty sweet drama overall. And now I have to find more from Itagaki Mizuki. 😘
Happy Leon and Pob are finally getting a full series. I like them best in the whole Tharn/Type set of dramas and their spinoffs. Love how Leon always made his feelings clear, but always gave Pob space to back away if he wanted. Leon has a great deal of respect for his partner and that seems weirdly rare in BL for some reason.
