This drama was a mixed bag for me. I didn’t feel any emotion or angst until the last few episodes, when it was really too little, too late. The romance, if you want to call it that, was completely underdeveloped and underwhelming. The rigged betting plot was confusing and ultimately boring.
Not to mention, in not one single shot did Lee Sang Yeob not have a damned jacket on! Not once did we get to see his fine AF form! He was very handsome in this role, but you’d never know it. His bride to be is one lucky gal. Dang!
If you enjoy this genre, I highly recommend you check out “You Are My Hero” with Bai Jing Ting and Sandra Ma. Both are very appealing here. Tho he is a SWAT officer and not a firefighter. Their interaction in the first 15 minutes of the first episode is everything. I loved it!
I truly enjoyed this, from the leads’ acting to the cinematography to the music. I look forward to the longer version. And I never was a beer drinker, but this show might have just changed my mind. IYKYK :)
