What? Fan YanKe has a kid? Really? That's a big change from the novel, where she never had a kid and I enjoyed seeing her tormented by concubines that YJX and mother brings in. Oh well......expect some changes to almost everything then 🤔😵💫😂

This drama has diverged significantly from the novel, until now there is almost no resemblance to it.
I prefer the novel, although I can understand adapting it would be hard as the story spans over a decade of fighting, wars. Ye Li does not have PTSD with her maid - who was a real person in the novel.
Novel is almost completely different than the drama. No monkeys. No secluded lishan.
