I think that Hwang Jung Min is one of the world's greatest actors, but here he played the ML as if he were a bit short of IQ points, and that made much of the plot seem awkward. Kim Ah Joong was great. I thought that her star would have ascended higher in her career. I could only give the drama a 7.5.
I think you are underestimating how hard it is for actors to get decent parts. This was Ha Joon's first lead role.…
Sometimes you just have to pay the bills. I understand that. Who knows, maybe they actually thought that there was something 'different' about the script.
I share your love and praise for the actors and I feel that their excellent performances helped this movie rise…
Without the three main actors, I would have given this a 2.0. I still feel that the script was taken from an old file cabinet labeled "scripts to use when out of ideas." I fast-forwarded quite a bit. That's okay. "Different strokes for different folks." Your post was well-written. You disagreed with me, but without being nasty. Well done.
I love, love, love Jin Ki Joo. I think that Park Hoon should be an A-list star. Wi Ha Joon is on the brink of stardom. What I don't understand is how they all got talked into making this B-movie. There must have been 500 movies made with scripts very similar to this. If you plan to watch, be sure that the server you use allows fast-forwarding.
For the first two hours I was thinking that I had seen this movie a hundred time before, with minor variations. The last ten minutes or so were pretty cool. Just watch that part and save yourself some time.
I have watched a lot of disappointing movies and dramas lately, so this was a pleasant surprise, It was good to see Kim Yoon Jin. I was afraid that she had retired. Great actress. Everyone should watch this film.
Simple, low budget film that had some difficulty getting past the 90 minute mark. I gave it a 7.0. It wasn't a waste of time, but it is not a movie that I will be badgering all my friends to see, either.
Another MDL poster suggested that I try Witch's Romance, another 'noona' story (a term I just learned). Uhm Jung Hwa and Park Seo Joon -- sounded interesting. I had to drop it because the script, acting, and OST were so stupid. And yet, it's average rating is 8.0 to SLA's 7.7. The world is coming unglued. Could Uhm Jung Hwa have replaced Kim Hee Ae? I very much doubt it. UJH does have great legs though. :-))
It's seems that you picked the wrong one ^^'The 2 dramas she did before this one were quite good. A Witch's romance…
I tried Witch's Romance, but had to drop it. Everything about it was so stupid --acting, script, OST. I seem to remember UJH giving a quality performance in the movie Montage, but that memory has been overridden by the memory of her in You're Too Much, Witch's Romance, and other more recent performances.
Had to drop this in the middle of episode 3. The script, acting, and OST are all so stupid. I kept comparing it to Secret Love Affair, which is my favorite Kdrama of all, with its superior script, acting, and OST. Both have the May-December love affair component. And yet, Witch's Romance has a higher average rating. The world has gone nuts. Could Uhm Jung Hwa have replaced Kim Hee Ae? Very unlikely.

I still haven't gotten to it. I keep moving other things above it on my "plan to watch" list. Being reminded that it is a Ra Mi Ran vehicle should make me finally start watching.
This is one of those "where do I go to get my two hours back?" movies. Shin Ha Kyun kept over-acting. The film itself could not decide if it wanted to be a comedy or a deadly-serious drama. Some of the action-scenes were pretty amazing. All-in-all, I wish that I had spent the time doing anything else.
