WOW! 2006 -- It was difficult to find. Kissasian did not have it. Dramanice had 3/4 of it. I finally found the entire movie on Asiancrush. At first I found Kim Rae Won's awkward mannerisms a bit strange, but later I did not notice them any longer. Heo Yi Jae was very good. What became of her? 9.0. Hurry and watch this before it becomes unavailable.
I am really puzzled by the high average rating. I wonder if people liked it because they liked the two stars. There was no point in the movie in which I liked Park Bo Young's character. Kim Young Kwang's character seemed to be wasting his time from the jump.
Everything about this movie was 'cute.' That is not a bad thing. Park Bo Young and Cha Tae Hyun have built their careers on it. Not a bad way to spend two hours.
I assumed that this would be boring, judging by the description. The only reason I gave it a chance was the high average rating. I am so glad that I did. It was great. There was a scene near the end that gave my whole body goose-bumps. As others have written, it starts off a bit slowly, but it gets engrossing soon enough.
I was crying at the end. It reminded me of what the people of Hong Kong are now going through. This movie, Taxi Driver, Ode To My Father, and a few others have taught me a lot more about recent Korean history than I knew before. Throw in Juror 8 as well.
One of the first Korean movies that I ever saw. Right after I Saw The Devil. They had to stretch it a bit to make it last for two hours, and I kept wondering why Kim Yoon Seok's character was allowed to keep walking around instead of being placed in jail, but a taut drama none the less.
Finally watched it for the second time, after a year. Still love it. So many thoughts running through my head. There were so many ways that the plot could have gone in different ways at different times. I wanted everyone to be happy somehow. Was the ending happy or sad? It all depends on how you look at it. This movie has a mystical hold on me.
I gave a '10' to the movie, so I was afraid to watch this, thinking that it could not compare. There are some weak moments, but also some very good ones. Still, I was thinking of dropping it, until episodes 9 and 10 came along. Wow! Bringing in the great actress Ra Mi Ran was genius. I doubt that the rest of the episodes can maintain this high level, but I will watch to the end.
Seo Kang Joon's appearance was so short :(I'm wondering how does the main lead gets his IDs/passports and get…
That is the only flaw in the script, as far as I am concerned. I loved the movie, but wondered how he snuck into the country. I decided that I had to ignore the issue.
I am always puzzled when watching a drama in which all the characters refer to how beautiful the female lead is,…
I had to drop this after four episodes. The attempts at comedy were stupid, poorly done, and out-of-place in an otherwise serious drama. The prosecutor is supposed to have done well in law school, yet seems to base her decisions on emotion and not logic. I am a fan of Lee Yi Kyung, but he has nothing to do here but behave as a buffoon. I wonder why Jae Jung Young accepted this role. Perhaps he needed to pay off a new boat or something.
The high rating was attributed to the fact that it's a story focused on three strong female characters who are…
I read that the highest rating was 4.1. Is that good? I first began watching Korean dramas when "My Father Is Strange" was on. I remember ratings for that reaching 36%. I have not looked into what days or time-of-day is best for Korean dramas, but 4.1 does not sound like a lot. Just wondering.
Just finished episode 12. If there were more than four episodes left, I would drop it. I don't understand the average rating of 8.7. I'm not sure that I will be giving it a 7.0. With Im Soo Jung in the cast, I had expected better. My first exposure to Lee Da Hee has been nice, but the lack of movement in Jeon Hye Jin's character has gotten boring. I get why the tv ratings have been so low. Sorry, I just felt the need to vent. I prefer dramas that have me eager to watch the next episode. This is no longer one of those.
