Episode 8. How could FL have possibly found the ML and his sister in that large plaza? How could she have done it without being heard? Where did she park her car so that it wouldn't have been seen? I am interested in the broader scope of the plot, but some of the details are stupid.
I'm on episode 3. When Kim Moo Jin met Cha Ji Won at the door, he would have smelled so bad that it might have knocked her out. Had he taken a shower and changed clothes before going upstairs? I can't believe that the writers didn't think of that.
Na hi do and yi jin go out for 2 episodes and then yo jin has to stay away from home because of journalism so…
You're not wrong, but I loved the performances of Kin Tae Ri and Bona. Nam Joo Hyuk was rather dull, in my humble opinion. A lot of people here on MDL seemed to like him, but I don't understand that.
I have just spent three hours going through Father Is Strange, searching for favorite scenes of Lee Yoo Ri. Unlike other actors who seem to only have one facial expression (I'm thinking of Kwon Na Ra), Yoo Ri has a thousand. She seems to favor scripts that I consider garbage, but I hope that the day will soon come that she stumbles into something with a plot that I can enjoy. In fact, I recently watched May It Please The Court, and kept wondering how she would have handled the part of the FL. I'm getting old, so I hope that she soon answers my prayers.
The driver was probably a private driver for the assaulter, so it's not hard to imagine that he's also paid to…
Did you finish it" I just did. ML was held in jail for days, it was not clear how many, and always had on the same clothes. I'll bet he was a bit gamey.
I kept wishing that Lee Yoo Ri had the part of the FL.I consider Jung Ryeo Won to be a barely adequate actress.
Kim Hye Eun hardly had anything to do. Not her fault.
In the end, I wished that I had not stuck with it for so long. I won't be recommending it to anyone.

I hope you don't mind me continuing this. I just finished episode 6. There was no explanation as to how he knew, at that moment, that she needed help.
About the driver: The vehicle was not a taxi. It was the victims personal car with his chauffeur, or so I assume. He may not have been trained in martial arts, but he could have yelled, "Hey, don't beat my boss."
In episode 4(?), during the second murder, the masseur would have had to have been dealt with in some way, but there was no mention of him. Was he also murdered? Was he given ether? Simple paid off? The detectives never mention him. At least, not yet.
I am getting a bit annoyed. Is there a big enough payoff in the end to make the time spent worthwhile?
ML drove just right behind them and saw them from their rear window. The driver was just a driver, he's not paid…
You think that the ML could see what was happening inside the car, in the dark, in the rain, while driving behind them? Does he have x-ray vision? And the driver couldn't yell or call the police during the assault? You are more forgiving that I am. :))
The driver was probably a private driver for the assaulter, so it's not hard to imagine that he's also paid to…
Thanks, but he could not know what was happening in the car at that moment. The driver -- he should have been helping the assaulter, rather than allowing him to get beaten. Oh, well.
In episode 2, how would Jwa Si Baek have known that Noh Chak Hee needed help from Jo Hyun Sik at just the right moment? I hate those coincidences that only happen in movies and dramas. It is not enough to make me drop this, but it has me ready to do so.
Agreed. After almost six years of watching Kdramas, this is my second-favorite, behind Secret Love Affair. In…
The first drama that I watched was You're Too Much with Uhm Jung Hwa, who I thought was great in a couple of movies I had watched. It was awful. I suffered through all 50 episodes because I felt that Jung Hwa would not have signed on unless there was some adequate payoff at the end. There was none. I went to another bulletin board and asked if all dramas were that bad. People there assured me that they were not, and they made many suggestions. The one I picked for my second exposure was My Father Is Strange, in which I was stunned by Lee Yoo Ri's extraordinary performance. Sadly, she is usually attracted to scripts that I can't stomach, no matter how great she is. My Mister was one of the dramas that I watched soon after. I have found that there are 3 or 4 series each year that are better than most of what is produced in the rest of the world. Looking for those special few make the overall effort worthwhile.
A note about Secret Love Affair: You may enjoy reading the review by Fangirl -- https://thefangirlverdict.com/2014/09/12/review-secret-love-affair/. Many reject this drama due to the affair, which I understand, but this is a story of a woman who is moving TOWARD morality through having the affair. The OST is as good as most of Ennio Morricone's work.
Midway through episode 7, it occurred to me that I no longer cared what happened to any of the characters, so I am dropping it for now. After all the episodes have been completed, I will skip through some of the final ones and see if I should pick it up where I left off.
what an amazing drama...wow just wow...the emotions this gives and how well its written and showed.....wow amazing…
Agreed. After almost six years of watching Kdramas, this is my second-favorite, behind Secret Love Affair. In the comments of both, there are people who hated them. What can you do?
The car falling out of the building and killing oh Jung se's character isn't an overused one. 😂They didn't…
I never meant "all" the deaths are of the cliche variety. Just that some forms appear all too often. The "falling off a building unto a car roof" is used too often in Hollywood as well. One would think that they would miss sometimes. :D
For me, Lee Yoo Ri was the 'bright, shining star' in the drama. She only got the part because Kim So Yeon bailed at the last moment. I have sampled everything that Yoo Ri has done since. Though she is always great, she seems to prefer taking part in scrips that are not worthy of her talent. It is a shame.
The truck-car accident at the intersection has been used far too much in Korean movies and dramas. It is right along with the body falling off a building and landing perfectly on a car below.
I also felt that there were far too many just-in-time rescues in this.
I still gave it an 8.5 due to the acting and directing. The writing started off strong, but a number of thing ticked me off along the way. I should have written them all down as they happened. Many have already been listed by others in the comments.

Thank you
And why didn't the driver do anything?
