I finally found this, and I am so sorry I did. It is awful. Please don't waste your time. If you do watch, do so at 2.0 so you can get the misery over with in half the time.
I have never enjoyed movies with minimal dialogue. We get to watch people walk while they are thinking. Or drink while thinking. Or drive cars while thinking. Finally, two hours have gone by, and we wonder how to get the time back. This could easily have been a twenty-minute short.
The performances were okay, but I did not come away thinking that anyone is an amazing actor.
Question! Before starting to watch it, I want to ask first, is their affair understandable? For example: because…
I have always disliked movies/dramas about affairs. This was the sole exception. All the marriages in this drama were of the 'sham' variety, with one exception. The FL here came face-to-face with the realization that she had chosen the wrong path for her life twenty years earlier and now wanted to take a more moral choice. Many viewers hate it for the affair and give it a low rating. Others agree with me and score it very highly. I am in love with Lee Elijah, but that is not enough to keep me from dropping this. This story could have made a 2 to 3 hour movie. Instead it is being dragged out for 12. Why not 16 or 52? I am surprised that the average rating is not even lower than it is.
Seeing Kim Hee Won reminds me of his performance as one of the evil brothers in The Man From Nowhere, one of my all-time favorite movies. I hope that he is making a lot of money.
I can't believe how much Han Hyo Joo changed her appearance. I kept wondering when HHJ's character would show up. I am still not sure that the producers are not playing some trick on us.
What a strange drama. I really enjoyed the interplay of Choi Soo Young and Jeon Hye Jin, but the rest of it was kind of meh. There is no need to watch it twice.
I have been looking forward to seeing this for years. I assumed that it was so bad that was shelved. Then it was available, but not subtitled. I gave up. It was still on my MDL watchlist. I just noticed it there and thought, "What the heck, let's take a last look." Found it on Dramanice with subs. I hope that I am not disappointed.
Now that I've watched it, I am sorry that I did. I wish that it had never been released. How do I et those two hours back?
