The romance is cute. The main couple are perfect for each other: smart, strong willed, cunning and chameleons…
Yes there are a few older couples. One half of the main couple is the grandson of the emperor. His 2 uncles and his father, the crown prince, have wives that take no prisoners when it comes to their princely husbands taking in other women! It’s more of a funny family drama than a backstabbing palace drama.
I love the acting and dislike the storyline after watching half of this drama.
Feels like Cry Baby would be a better title after watching 28 episodes. It’s hard to warm up to a snotty nose, knee hugging crown prince. He doesn't give off a strong leader image when he’s crying to Daddy every time he falls into a trap. He rarely wins against his enemies with his jealous father constantly undermining him. Back stabbing is the norm in palace dramas. But, the good guys have to win a few to make the drama entertaining and less of a pity party. Talented actors are wasted in this drama.
This is very similar to Suits TV show down to the smart unlicensed assistant, the competitive coworker and even the layout and colors of the office setting.
Two questions, how is the romance ? where to watch with Eng Sub?!
The romance is cute. The main couple are perfect for each other: smart, strong willed, cunning and chameleons that adapt to the situation. It’s their unpredictability that make them exciting to watch. They feed off each other.
The best thing about this is the chemistry and playfulness between the lead couple. The middle is standard for a long drama, boring. The ending is a brick wall. It abruptly ends. You wonder where is the rest of it. 7.5/10
No, the storyline does not provide a good plot for either the main couple or the side characters. It’s a waste of talent. You keep waiting thinking it will get better near the end of the 50 episodes and it never does.
I’m still stunned! This is a hard loss since he was one of the first drama actors I started paying attention to many years ago when I got hooked on Asian dramas.
Miss her already. They didn’t say how she died, but, I hope she is at peace. Netizens were too cruel to celebrities especially young women. So unnecessary.
I’m assuming this is the last of this drama. The season finale was as interesting as the beginning. The entire drama moved too slowly. The unfinished ending is a big miss. Giving it 8.5/10 for the slow storyline and ending. This could have easily been a 10. Still worth watching.
Love triangles between two good guys who are long time friends are the worst! What happened to the bro code of never dating the girl your best friend likes/is dating/used to date?
Wen Ning deserves the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the believable multiple transformations of the character in The Untamed drama! Yu Bin has a great future
He has such a small part in Longest Day in Chang’an, but, it was memorable. His acting is so dynamic that I wanted to join his clan and help him take revenge on the people who aggravated him! Great acting!
