Person Bae Doo Na
I restarted my Netflix subscription and watched Sense8 first just to see her in it! She is such a badass in it! Her fighting skills are great. Her English is on point. Her acting is always stellar. Can't wait to see her in her 2019 dramas!

It's great if you like a lot of action and little dialogue. Full review above. 7.5/10

Title Love Alert
I am biased towards certain types of dramas and certain actors. I like both leads and happy to see them in this drama where the idol stars and body builders give way to relatable people and no high schoolers trying to act grownup. Hopefully, the tantrums and jealous back stabbers are not in this. Both Yoon Eun Hye and Chun Jung Myung do well in romance dramas. Saw her in Lie To Me, the first kdrama I watched, and the gateway drug to this addiction (Goong, Coffee Prince...). The male lead was the perfect soulmate in Heart to Heart. His smile and smooth approach to romantic roles are refreshing. I'm looking forward to this.

Title Method
It's very well acted and the intensity of both the kissing and the other skinship scenes are believable, mesmerizing to watch! Then, the ending came and wrecked the movie. Not sure and will never know why the writer chose that ending. It is definitely worth watching for the quality of the acting and the background music/sound effects. 8.5/10

I can replay the sword fight scenes and never get tired of watching. So much better than the standard live action wuxia/xianxia dramas! Well scripted. Surprisingly, the subbed dialogue did not disappoint! Many levels above Martial Universe which is like a cartoon compared to this. No invisible wires attached taught at the hemlines spreading out the capes to make the hero look badass in the fake breeze! lol
On Memoir of a Murderer Nov 3, 2018
I barely understand the last part of this movie because the twists were vague and too many. They weren't twists. They were braids...corn rows that take hours to unravel. So, I am not sure which parts were real or just the imagination of the elder serial killer. 7.5/10
On Twelve Nights Nov 3, 2018
I’m barely holding on because : 1) the pace of the story is too slow at the start and is made worse waiting a week for one episode, 2) the main story is not interesting enough, 3) the side stories of the supporting characters have more potential but are only delivered in small portions. Better to wait until finished before watching.

idk how i feel about this drama anymore... it looks good and intriguing on the surface, but if you look closely…
I got the same feeling. But, I'm only on ep. 5 and I really like the cast. I will keep watching for a bit before shelving it. I am hoping it picks up.

I have a feeling he might be doing it out of concern for him, he does seem very hateful from Lee Soo Yeon's perspective…
That's a good point. He didn't talk it out with his brother. His first option was to drive him out using others. That's why I thought he wanted to hide his guilt. It would be more acceptable to get him another job elsewhere if his brother agreed to leave for his safety. But, he just seems angry at him all the time. I hope they reconcile.

i will be criticized but i don't like the double standard, the female lead is 10 years older than the ML, is not…
I respect your opinion. Consider these points:
1. What is the name of a middle age man who dates younger women? Successful! Confident! Enviable. There is very little stigma associated with this time honored tradition started by men. Women are finally getting the option to choose this. They should not be vilified assuming it's consensual and the partner is of legal age.
2. Self esteem for most who enhance their appearance tends to rise. Shopping, plastic surgery and sex with younger partners ( or anyone) is fine if this makes one happy and they consent. Medical procedures for enhancement are getting cheaper, safer, less invasive, less painful and more popular. They will be here for a long time. Each choose their own way to feel confident about themselves and they may not line up with your choices.
3. You are only 23 and your mother sounds healthy, happy and loving life. I applaud her! My parents loved parties and meeting people. They were always in line at opening night at the new night clubs, then, would come home and fill us kids in on the latest dances! My father passed away and we kids left the house. My mother traveled all over the world and always entered dance contests even as she got older. She called it easy money! LOL. She has been ill these last 3 years, on and off chemo. So, no dancing or the liveliness she brought. My point is let your mother be, girl. It's her life and life style. Let her be happy while she can be. You will understand better as you get older. Live your life.

They made the Step-brother’s, Seo In Woo’s, character too hateful. He left his brother mangled in the street with the gangsters who tried to kill him. Then, he tries to get his brother fired knowing he is disabled because he tried to stop the gangsters! Obviously, “out of sight, out of mind” is the best way to wipe away guilt and the fear that everyone will find out he’s trashy and heartless!

The main couple broke up over family issues and ended up together years later in literally the last 5 minutes of the drama! It takes 50 episodes to get there.

Sadly, I have seen that theme used too often in Asian dramas where one person gets a disease like cancer, then, silently suffers without telling friends or family as they try to get cured or they collapse forcing the other person to accidentally find out. There is virtue in preventing others from suffering. These sufferers wear it like a badge of honor leaving a wave of guilt with the family or friends who find out too late to help. "I don't want to be a burden" is the common phrase used by the elder members of my extended family. Some have hidden cancer for years.

Disappointed...How can he lie, break his promises and leave people who love him to suffer not knowing if he is…
A bag of skippable nonsense came in at the end. Felt like the writer got sick and they used someone else to write the last episode. It didn't fit the previous caring personality for the male character who knew the girlfriend would suffer if she felt abandoned by him again.

Worth watching for the romance, bromance and cast. The rest of the typical cliche storylines felt forced. An 8/10 for the sweet romance!

Monkey's post high school life is relatable. Most his age will end up in jobs rather than with a college education. High paying jobs are hard to find for someone just out of high school or from the countryside trying to make a living in the city. This story has little hope for those except to give up or you will fail, get sick and die! LOL

This is the best Chinese palace drama ever made! I rewatched after it aired 3 years ago and it is still epic! I enjoyed it more this time because I better understand the relationships. Characters are deep, story is complex, but, laid out step by step to the conclusion. Great scenes. CGI scenes are unobtrusive. Very highly recommended 10/10
