Lee Yoo Ri is back as a fighter. I love the characters she plays. They are strong women who can take a punch from life and bounce back harder. I hope her character has a happy ending.
I got out of this: 1) Be self confident, 2) No need to seek validation or cling to others to know you are worthy of respect, and 3) Follow your dreams. 7.5/10

I am not sure the type of dramas you like, but, the characters were portrayed exceptionally well in this crime drama. This was the grand prize winner of all the Korean dramas with the male lead winning the best actor in a TV drama award at the 2018 54th Baeksang Arts Awards. It also won for best screenplay.

Most romance and family dramas are built on miscommunication or lack of knowledge by one or more characters. It's part of human nature and the dramas reflect that few have all the answers in relationships.
This is a must watch for the action and much better than usual computer graphics. All my favorite male leads are in it. Angelababy was better in General and I. She is a damsel in distress in this movie. 8.5/10.

It took me three attempts to make it to the end of ep. 2. I want to love this because I am an avid xianxia reader and a big fan of Yang Yang. But, this is all over the place! Yang Yang is acting like the court jester. A lot of good actors wasted. Sigh.
This is the typical rich aloof guy meets the average sassy girl and the conflicts with his super rich friends and family, tyrant mother-in-law included. The first 26 episodes are predictable struggles with the ex-boyfriends, gold diggers, potential suitors and corporate power. This is a decent, but, not great drama. But, this drama is worth watching when everything else is boring or one is in-between dramas. Each episode is predictable. The leads have little romantic chemistry and look more like casual friends. Their kissing scenes are sparse and awkward, just a little creepy based on how it was directed or acted. I would think they disliked each other off the set. The other annoyance are the cell phone ring tones. The setting is the early 2000s when Motorola RAZRs were the gold standard. I guess I am too used to the full sounds of today's phones because the ringtones in the drama start to sound like finger nails on a chalk board. lol
