I'm 1/4 of the way through this and I am wondering when the anger management issues of the characters will end. It seems like the writer resorts to screaming and constant dynamic background music to build tension, but, overuses them. The cases are very interesting. So, I will keep watching.
He is such a great actor. That is why my fingers are tired scrolling through his long lost of projects! Plus, you can pick him out in the crowd because he did not need to carve his face into a pretty boy image to get a part. LOL. He has talent.
I watched this again and it is still good. The comments in the last few years are more negative to wards the adult actors, especially the leads, Park Yoo Chun and Moon Eun Hye. I wonder how much of this is driven by the sexual assault scandal that hit Park Yoo Chun. He was sort of exonerated when he won lawsuits against 2 of his accusers who got prison sentences for blackmail. I remember one woman appealed her conviction and won. But, no charges were filed against Yoo Chun. Moon Eun Eye had her own plagiarism scandal when accused of using a design for a coat than won her the prize in China. A Korean designer claimed plagiarism. I not sure how that ended.
The storyline moves slowly. I don't mind the lack of action or tension in the plot. But, at times it's like watching the neighbors...not much happening. The male lead is good. The female lead is passable. The side stories are a bit more interesting now that I am at ep. 18.
The drama is out and the 1st episode is very good. Beautiful scenes, lots of action, fast paced and great acting from the children to the veterans! Everyone who is anyone is in this drama even if it is a cameo role. Lee Byung Hun is perfection as usual. I am hoping the intensity lasts the entire 24 episodes.
