Another brilliant movie by Masaki Kobayashi based on humanity n corruption where the people in top rung n superiors always enjoy the privileges by sacrificing the poor people n subordinates in bottom rung who are war prisoners. Writer doesn't excuse the crimes committed by the POW but u will still feel sympathy for these poor prisoners who are hoping to get released someday when the treaty between Japanese n US government will be signed. The movie is divided into two parts. One is about politics, corruption n mass killing n the other is the personal stories about the war prisoners where Yamashita is MC, the other half focuses on Yamashita . The most interesting thing about the movie are narration n the conversation between the prisoners.
There should be supernatural tag as well. There's no comedy n it's a bit psychological. Story about a lucky troubleman with yakuza as sub plot. Not as fun n creative as dangan runner ,this could have been much better with good writing bcz the opening scene was really interesting. Still watchable if anyone is Sabu's fan. This was like a messy, non comedic version of Sabu's drama Troubleman.
Story about three losers , similar to other of Sabu movies this one also has a little creativity n fun. Not bad ,i enjoyed this. If u watch hollywood or korean movies they always chase by cars but i love how japan promotes health . No matter how far n how long, they are always running ?
Maybe MDL goes to the same church as those ladies.
No they do read them but the bias is obvious.I reported few racist comments but nothing happened to them . On the other hand, mdl unnecessarily put spoiler on n delete some comments . If he were to write this movie correcting all the coincidences n plotholes i dnt think they will be able to maintain the time length .They do this to a lot of movies thinking that audience is dumb .I know sometimes people watch movies to get rid of boredom but at times they really want to watch a good movie so they deserve the best .I get ur point n it was nice talking to u .The way u said his shit doesn't stink was funny .Have a nice day 🙂

Oh i didn't know he passed away n here i am talking ill about him,i actually enjoy watching his movies i disliked few but overall i like them.
I like this movie but yes it's not award worthy. I never cared about awards n reviews they are unreliable,nor anyone else should trust others opinion u know .We all have our own brain n think differently,i even like the movies rated 1 😋. As long as i can connect with characters n find even one thing interesting i can watch just anything.
Movie is a about planning a double suicide so don't expect romance nor it's not about healing .Although the slow paced direction n how the main characters met in similar situation reminded me of April Snow ,this movie was simply depressing.
Director is the winner.The plot is pretty simple ,i dnt like the conclusion either but the execution is solid with awesome soundtrack. Very slow movements n slow dialogues added more gloom to its already depressing tone ,it was almost funny how in the end even if the ML was weak he approached the red car very slowly n wasn't in hurry or panicking at all ,they maintained the pace throughout this movie no matter what.
It's not dark n gritty as Netflix categorised it. I had high expectation from this but it was boring .So many subplots that u can't pick one thing what the movie is about.The various themes covered in this could be good for a drama but in movie it was very messy n rushed. I must say Yokohama Ryusei improved alot i really liked his acting in this.

Lol why don't u just shut ur brain while watching his movies. Not just this but most of his movies don't make sense, most of all is Moebius, that's the stupidest of his movies but i still love it 🤭 Honestly even the best of korean thriller n psychological movies dont make sense, way too many plotholes n coincidences,i personally prefer movies with some good substance n when it comes to these movies i just like perverse ,dnt judge me for being a pervert lol but if i watch these movies with brains n moral stick i won't like even half of the movies which i rated higher than needed. This is one of those movies where i shut my brain n just enjoy . If i look for a perfect movie without any plotholes which could also reach my heart n entertain the shallow me then then I'll b left with only few but we got to eat ryt 😉

Yes this is slice of life n about the actress,I am not her fan so i am not biased n i can say she fits in the role. She did a good job to play the character.
I liked how the show is realistic n give us clear view of what actually happened. There are only few biases which can be ignored.
I always hear media say that Japan n Italy have more older people which is not good for economy n growth but u cant deny the contribution of these older people who stepped up n showed their bravery. Hats off to them.
The incident was caused by earthquake n u cant deny the human error but u can't even do anything abt it bcz of Pacific Ring of Fire being situated in these countries , only thing u can do is take necessary precautions while construction keeping in mind the worst case scenarios.
Overall a watchable drama, I'd still suggest the documentary if anyone is not familiar with the incident.
The trilogy is a complete package.Drama,slice of life, romance and a little bit of action ,which is even better than some action samurai movies ,etc being sub plots the series mainly focuses on social,moral n humanistic issues.A must watch series.
