Lol i'm sure they weren't paid ,dint u see the craze for Kinnporche here? Even KP was a little bit better bcz it had some comedy which i liked n few interesting characters.
But u r right about the next line.Most of the people who watch BL don't seem to have watched or read something better so they are not picky,u can find much better manhwa with better plotline.
Most of the viewers just like good looking face,MC with tragic past (his character wasn't even explored in this drama)which is very common in Korean dramas,u can find the same plot with many straight romance dramas ,simple story,good cinematography n happy ending.
They were even calling it art n masterpiece lol,where the drama is too basic .
Do u think the rating would be this good if this one had a realistic n sad ending?

Sci fi is the main genre of this movie everything else is just subplot.
They really worked hard on soundtrack n electronic space music,felt like watching anime .
Dnt miss this if u love sci fi, wish few things were more clear like her important role in bringing everything back to normal etc though.

Story about religion,psychology, lust n sin with all flawed main characters without any redeeming quality.
If u like incest dnt watch this bcz there's no romance, just lust.
Ogino n masao conversation was interesting, acting was good . Music was really nice as i love violin but it was compensatory bcz movie wasnt that good. Watchable

Well it's miike ,it's obvious that he will add some shock factor in the movie, if u see both the movie u will know what scene m talking about. That seppuku scene was realistic in old one whereas in this one motome begging n everything about that secene was extreme for audience.

This was the last movie of Shuji San adapted from a novel.
He used bright n cold colours in this movie just like pastoral ,the characters are flawed with realistic plot n thankfully it was not as much symbolic as the latter.

Their was no focal point of this movie instead there are many sub plots crafted in a wonderful manner with good acting . It was about the villagers where they are leaving the village for city n their fascination towards modern city world n technology, their obsession over time ,need to possess the time,their greed for money, desire to connect with the world of dead.

Honestly no other director had made me this curious n want to study the films like Shuji ,he is incredible n very underrated.
Why did he love circus this much?I noticed circus in most of his movies.
Plot Reminded me of profound desires of God which has village scene but this one was hard to understand so watch it when ur brain isn't tired , movie lovers will like this .

Subs r so messy in this movie

Could only watch 20 mins of the movie n even that was hard to find.
The whole movie is about sexual symbolism.
How people indulge themselves in sex of all kinds whether its rape or aggressive n violent sexual activity for entertainment. That police guy taking out the nail from wall must represent the law keeping an eye to these crimes.
With no review available at any site i am confused as to what does everything actual mean but one thing i can interpret with surity is Shuji san is a pervert lol,otherwise who find think of nail as a phallus.

I understand. She could have been saved but shut ins can be very selfish as they have already cut themselves from the world n live in their own ,they commit suicide without considering their family so it wasnt a shocker that she dint make efforts. Her fear was stronger than her care that is what i felt. Still she tried to redeem herself , yeah it was an optimistic approach but the damage was already done there was no excuse . Atleast it can make her open up.

"If there was a planet in this universe where one person could live on their own, would u like to go there " Asks the hikikomori MC to her hikikomori chat friend.
Totally relevant in today's time n some of us can relate to the characters.
It was depressing, could have gotten darker but ended up being inspiring. Wasn't that good, looked comical at times but still managed to give overview .
Don't forget to use the earphones music is nice.

No even gore was bad in this movie.

I was grossed out seeing those two ladies brushing their teeth.Maybe that's why someone rated it 5 lol.

Thanx to synopsis i understood it a little,still i dint grasp a single thing from the movie where i m good at interpretation when it comes to symbolism if not the best.I dint understand his The Cage either but i was still entertained n kept watching mainly bcz these r short.
I really miss that guy from Kissanime named synthesizer or something,he was so damn good at interpreting stuff n make sense of everything.

First half was so good but second half was boring,it wasn't that funny but engaging till the end .I loved Teruyuki in this.

Patriarchal plotline centred around a woman ,not relevant today but entertaining with good music,it was abt more than just sex.I enjoyed but i was really expecting....

M surprised to see lesbian romance which was only few seconds but still it was 1985 , Japanese have always been ahead of time. They were more open in past than today.

This movie dint grab me, i wasn't engaged with characters or rooted for them, the events were random, there were so many characters n they all were gloomy n sad but still enjoyed the time when they were stuck in typhoon. It was nostalgic but not an important movie.

No plot no acting . Of all the movies i have watched this was worst of Shinya's no matter how young n good he looked.
