Very hard to rate it for me. Seeing the director n actors like Sakura, Eita i was expecting a lot from this long…
I think i would have loved the movie had i known it was a gay themed movie n without any big names.Although it was always hinted that the theme was going to be like this, eg.,that head caressing scene n yori's father calling him monster ,it was unclear in first half n i thought it would be humanistic insightful movie like other movies of director. I love BLs n LGBTQ but i am not that romantic that I'd romanticize everything.Maybe director should've focused on one thing. It was like watching two movies, i dont like plot shifts very much.
Very hard to rate it for me. Seeing the director n actors like Sakura, Eita i was expecting a lot from this long awaited movie , though am not disappointed the movie is not what i thought it would be . The main show stealers were both talented n beautiful child actors, Sakura n Eita's roles seemed to be wasted.
Plotwise i was unprepared which was surprising knowing what kind of movies director makes.Transitions between the scenes ,layer upon layer revelation n the unexpected turn of events all of which were cleverly executed.
But I was expecting a slice of life n depth which were not there, even the social commentary was very weak. It does have little depth n beautiful scenes n good music but this movie can't reach everyone. The plot was messy n exclusive, there was so much wasted potential.
Directed by German Director: Wim Wenders. Nostalgic, minimalistic n slow paced movie about a humble, positive ,diligent n honest toilet cleaner with a vast interest in books, nature n music. I liked the tiny details n blue hue added to the somber n sad tone of the plot. This movie is very much character driven so Koji San was the perfect actor to play the role but honestly compared to how much I waited for it ,this movie wasn't that amazing as i thought it would be so Koji San is the winner here ,this movie depended on him more than the plot itself.Still i liked it bcz we get to watch movies like this only once in a while n i hope they keep making them.
I came for Ryuhei but his acting dint suit the character,i started manga after this n the character needed expressions , something Ryuhei has never been good at despite being a good actor.
I stayed for the plot ,it was so refreshing n fun. Mangaka really did a good job n worked hard to draw this.
Nanase Nishino was great with her sarcastic inner monologues n expressions.
My second movie by Gosha Hideo after Three Outlaw Samurai. I feel bad to say that both of the movies were disappointing. Maybe i am discovering his Samurai movies after having watched all the best ones . Still, the characters in both the stories are shallow, i watched it only bcz of my actor Nakadai otherwise there was nothing new n gripping about this movie and the plot except pretty cinematography. P. S. What's wrong with Yoko's teeth really.
I don't feel bad for peasant or any of the character n one of the peasant sold his daughter off, that time was like that, poverty can drive u to do anything in order to survive , thats why i dint connect to characters, acting felt a bit superficial especially by the actor played Kikyo, the execution itself was scattered n messy. Overall plot was good ,i love most of the Samurai movies but this wasn't one of them.
Another Troubleman kind of movie by Sabu, though the themes in all of his movies are very similar with a loser, unlucky n weak MC they are still so much fun with different n unique plot .Some scenes were really hilarious, good acting ofcourse.
Lol sweetheart u won't know people from comments n I was using u getting turned on by actresses only as an example, unlike u I don't judge people from one comment n profile.I do judge people when they DM me saying I have a pretty name n asking where I am from just like u did after ur useless preaching in comment. When u din't get response u got even more furious.Thats why I'm saying calm down .
Nope u don't look calm to me, u should start mediation u know. I mean u implied that i m sexualizing "everything" just from a comment when u dont even know me where ur own profile says u get turned on by few actresses, this is impulsive, judgemental n immature behavior . U r definitely not calm sweetie, start meditation or something. Welcome 😉
Those days when love used to be more important than anything else. That's why i loved Hiro's strong character. This movie is nostalgic, bittersweet n realistic but very pretty. It felt like I was watching a tape or documentary the acting was natural n few scenes were really funny n cute . Hiro chan's lucky to have a talk with mature adult n set things straight without them getting very ugly.
