Ep19, chen yi is just too sacrificing. He gave his billiards coaching centre for his friend. I liked the contrast show showed between miao jing's mother and chen yi's friends gf mother. Sometimes i wonder only if miao jing's mother loved her more and her happiness more than money. That would be so good. I am not sure but isn't this whole office situation now comes under conflict of interest? But that's fine as the motive of chen yi is to protect miao jing. So far i liked the development of romance. Kang An is such a pure person. In the balcony there were two people who are advising each other to not hurt themselves but they are scarred by the past. Kang An actually sees chen yi as his family even giving spare key. I don't think he has ever blamed chen yi for whatever happened to Wen. I actually want to know more when this chen yi past will come into light? Which ep?

Well. I am ok with auditing thing till now. As if i see writers are thinking to give the control or u can say closure to whatever happened in past by destroying zhang bin from their own hands instead of them hearing zhang bin got destroyed and they moved on. Miao jing actually raised good points regarding auditing. But when just when chen yi's past will come into light?

I am little bit confused by ur comment. U clearly laid out everything I so far understood in this drama. But even after that meng ting hui seems 2D to u? I don't understand what exactly u are expecting from her character. Because from my pov if you have character depth and good acting to convey that I don't feel any character as 2D. The brazen and arrogant quality of meng ting hui is that supposed to come as cute? I mean yes some drama do that. But i actually thought differently. Meng ting hui outspoken character to even emperor came out to be a harsh truth she speaks in front of him. It was never meant to be cute as per me. It was more of her ability to speak without fear is what I thought emperor found it nice.

Maybe u can enlighten me. It's interesting actually that despite understanding the story clearly with same understanding of characters, how u approach and develop ur critique is very much diff from mine. I like it.

Runtime is short? 40 min 12 ep drama no it's not. U can always extend the no of ep is story requires. Yes u can say then what about budget. Simple. If there is any( i am emphasizing IF) scenes that contributes less to the plot then make them cut.

What the op is saying is actually valid. Even one who loved the show it's because one is more invested in feng chi and gao zhun and not ZX and ZZ. Even when drama was airing all I could see was the comments on FC and GZ...they sure represent the blur lines between drama they were filming and reality. But i still felt along with OP that we got little time as so understand how and when they develop feelings for each other. Getting confused with whether u are actually in love or just confusing with characters of GZ and FC is what I see as ques this drama is trying to resolve and they spent max time there. Not how ZX and ZZ fell in love. I can understand about ZX as he was already having deep impression about ZZ during his supporting/ double roles. But ZZ? No. But this drama actually handled very well the concept of confusion of both reality and fiction and how actually ZZ was not able to understand his own sexuality.

Half way through ep5, and my chest feels so heavy and eyes being teary. I feel for Meng Ting hui. When she saw results and her name was not there and when suddenly everything around her blurred as if she can't understand what happened and what now? It's like the entire life the thing that give her purpose is just gone. She acts like let's eat food and although hurt is visible in her eyes she remained calm. A calmness that something inside her is broken. So she can't do anything but to say let's eat food to divert mind. Her approach is like lots of people are giving exam and those all are top talents. She didn't even thought that someone used malpractice to deliberately not let her pass. Because the noise from the break of glass within her heart is so loud that it defeaned her mind. Which is exactly one feel. A person like fu zhi is someone who is actually required to give support to meng ting hui in this situation. I am loving their sisterhood. They care and protect each other. See future with each other. This whole feelings just hits like a home. It reminds me of my past self. I see myself in meng ting hui. This drama has became less of a drama but a show where I see myself in FL and I just can't help but root for her, care and worry for her. Although she is a fictional character in fictional world. I wish her nothing but happiness and the way she can still pursue her dream. Somewhere I feel if she will let her dream to protect others through an court offical position something deep inside my heart will heal. I got too personal. But yes. I feel deeply for both meng ting hui and fu zhi( the one who has s very simple dream of open her bofang house in the entire ning empire and just share life with meng ting hui. Capital mean nothing to her. It's the companionship of ming ting hui that means to her. That's why she is ready to follow her everywhere) . A bond like Meng Ting hui and fu zhi is special. It's a reminder if someone like fu zhi is present in ur life then always cherish her and not to take her care for granted. Fu zhi is so lovable. Having a friend like fu zhi is blessing.

I never said i catched up till latest ep. Yes I haven't mentioned explicitly in my comment. I will give that to u that missing that context can create this misunderstanding. But it still doesn't make my point wrong. If someone approach u after they saw u using adult site it does sound creep. Does that person aware that he is liked by that person from before? No.

Actually u are very wrong. I am the person who only looks into emotional depth in characters and story. For me only physical relationship is superficial. I value emotional connection over everything. So this pov doesn't apply to me.

Are we watching the same series? Yes. We are. That's why I said this drama has taken a lot bigger challenge to explore the 17 year age gap. It's hard to handle it properly they can only show some or one subset of the issue that arises from this huge age gap. And that's why I said the show needs to explore and handle it with care. No where in my comments i used physical remarks about there relationship. That is enough to tell u that I am not approaching this drama from physical relationship pov. But u cannot deny the fact that for hisaki this relationship started from physical intimacy as it's foundation. And from ep1 pov until u mentioned okumi also started from that. So i am not where wrong here.

And i exactly know that people struggle to first understand then accept that they are gay. And then come out. Ur point and my understanding itself proves that one passionate night can never resolve the dilemma inside a person who is struggling this thought. It takes time. Before saying " i might fall for u" in ep2( haven't completed yet) one needs to be first sure that ok i am not straight. It's not easy to accept because even understanding is not easy. Forget about some people fight their own mental thoughts. Even more so coming out is more hard. That's why I strongly believe that one night can never resolve these inner conflicts. U can say that this drama doesn't explore that part because it's not it's main focus. Plus it's a heavy topic and serious topic that it's hard to show with other aspects this drama is trying to show in just 13-15 min.

Not everytime ur pov and opinion will match mine and vice versa but it doesn't mean i am only focusing on physical relationship. Because I did said this drama is trying to explore one of the subset of issue age gap relationship brings. No where I mentioned physical intimacy as remarks to define their relationship.

God. This drama is so heavy. My heart cries for su lin. Why would Ma Na and others will just bully and beat her just for a role? I hope all not only Ma Na but all gets their karma.

They don't say when they are together. They just understand each other that we both love each other so they treat each other sincerely. That's the beauty of their relationship

Here i think they have exaggerated expressions because this show is setting the tone of rom com wrapped in sexiness.

Imagine a show dealing with serious topics like in this one but instead the focus is not dealing with those topics but romance as to how u overcome that. One has to set the tone as comic in nature to tone down the seriousness of these topics. That's why u will see in this show they are not trying to address the actual issue with age gap but focusing more on why u treat me as a child which is a subset of the age gap relationship. Plus this is mini drama. Never ever expect any mini drama to deal with any topic with seriousness. They just can't the timespan don't allow them.

Plus I think to expect this much from a mini drama is itself wrong as the objective of mini drama is to give u dopamine and guilty pleasure. Or use tropes which are cringy but enough entertaining to not make u drop the drama. With this format u just can't serve the story in a way u are expecting.

Also, idk somehow exaggerated expressions has always been considered as comic. Microexpressions works most in long dramas or with full length dramas or drama where the storytelling is mature and serious in nature or when character itself is not vocal.

I think this story touched the issue which is a social stigma( that huge age gap) and gave little to no bg of characters...it's a challenge they are taking which is hard to handle properly in 13-15 min drama series. That huge age gap needs lots of work.

What's more is that Japan do believe in "kawai" culture and baby voice a lot like lots of East Asian countries. So this is not shocking. Plus, okumi is particularly interested in hisaki because he found him cute. So it's obvious he will treat him like a child.

But what hisaki is saying. Don't treat me as child. We are having a relationship and we need to be equal in terms of how we see each other. We both are mature adults and see me as ur partner. Which is a bigger point hisaki is putting in the table. That's why this huge age gap is generally doesn't work on real life in most of the cases. It's hard to be on same level emotionally, practically, logically.

Ep1,I think okumi is very creepy. Imagine someone saw you scrolling in the adult site in metro and then he is particularly interested in asking you why u were scrolling and once u know u propose the idea of sleeping with them. I know that was mutual consent but the way okumi showed interest in hisaki just after knowing what site he is scrolling and what he is interested in then giving him a creepy smile( no one can convince me that it's a genuine smile it's not) is somewhat weird. Maybe this is one of the time when the story is going from lust to love.

Also i think that's the problem with short 13-15 min mini dramas that story moves so fast that u don't know why and how it's happening. Like hisaki, he is not interested in men but somehow after one time he is saying he can fall in love with okumi. It's just too fast for me.

Plus 17 year age gap i don't think it's an issue if they no one is minor. But this huge age gap is uncomfortable. While it's not wrong. But idk how it works. The emotional and psychological differences will be huge. The whole how to see and approach world and situation is too huge. I guess this story then has to deal with these challenges so as to be on same page which i don't think this story deals with it. But the ques is in that case can only physical attraction as foundation and progression of their relationship enough so as to establish a long term commitment relationship?

PS- okumi needs to stop smiling that creepy. ( My opinion i find it creepy simple)

That's literally half of the drama. Considering it started seriously at ep15-16. They need to show how all these are imp for this plot. Otherwise it would make sense if people are saying lot of auditing thing.

I am in ep19 and I think this series having 32 ep is the biggest challenge for me to complete. Don't get me wrong. I love this drama a lot. But considering my history with modern cdrama 32 ep is too long for me when sometimes plot is actually moving a lot is happening but still it's not hitting dopamine level like how for earlier ep i used to wake up early before my job just to see one ep. But now that reward dopamine is somehow not present. But i will complete it. Am fully committed to this drama.

True. Sometimes I forget that media exist to leave a deep impact on u. I do have some problems with this series but the impression and impact it left on me is much more than any dramas has ever left. I think last time I cried this much in Covid times when I was watching Naruto or TTEOTM( straight drama).

Some media just exist to make u feel that u too are human and it's ok to cry for characters and story even if it's fictional. Maybe somewhere i am still wanting same impact on me which i am not getting in any other BL drama rn. Maybe that's the reason i am still here lurking and talking this much. Thanks i was able to sort my feelings in my head after reading ur comment that it's ok to love what u love even if others see lots of flaws including myself in it. While i am agreeing with you on some points because I watched earlier ep and then put on hold. I had the same questions. But still ig this drama got high ratings or loved by people because first although it's not too good but not too bad. Plus they served new plot..which is drama within drama while it's not a new concept but this concept was first shown in this drama in entire bl genre. Something new in bl genre than usual high school, suspense thriller or toxic drama approach.

If u see in reviews as well. That's what they are praising a lot. Maybe I have watched lots of dramas revolving this concept i didn't found it anything new and exciting.

That's why I think I need to approach this drama with fresh mind with no biasedness or prejudice. But something about it in earlier ep i actually didn't felt connected with ZZ and ZX. But seeing this high rating, i think i need to give this drama another chance.

No hate to actors. But i can't watch any drama without plot for any actor. Idc about anyone's gege, oppa, phi. Idc about anyone's cuteness or handsomeness. Serve me plot and i am all urs. Apart from that yes acting. But i am not fan of their acting. It's average for me. But ig in thai drama average acting is also good acting.

But is it normal to like a drama this much even with all flaws? That even till now I am lurking here. 😂

So I can skip. Please wake me up once story starts moving. Because at ep6 getting to know his origin when it's not mystery or whatsoever plus didn't they already explained in ep1 the wolf god thing...😊

Ep8- lovey dovey scenes
Ep9- problems with pregnancy and delivery
Ep10- delievery of baby boy. Because somehow in Omegaverse always Males born. Not females.

Someone please confirm if finally plot is plotting or not?

Ep18, and a lot has happened. The scene where chen yi and miao jing was riding bike with high speed, it's like they don't have fear of speed and risky things as life has already mastered them at that. What follows is miao jing's attempt to close the gap by getting to know how much chen yi has suffered wheh she was away. The scene where chen yi told miao jing " ask me whatever u want to know just don't investigate zhang bin and logistics company." And she said I don't want to ask anything today I want u to sleep properly and then she gently tried to make chen yi's furrowed expression while sleeping smoothen. This is peak care anyone can give.

Then we had theatre scene one must hear the lines of that play as it tells miao jing and chen yi's story. " The drifting clouds are blown away, i climb the flower steps and see the full moon,my heart longs to linger and speak with him, but the rules were set long ago, i must not stay any longer, you climbed over the wall, get back to the camp, do not forget my heartfelt devotion". These lines tells the story of them before separation. That how miao jing has to leave to protect her as that was the rule that was set even without her consent and as if she is asking quietly all that time to not forget her devotion for chen yi she had. Like she is complaining to her lover just like in theatre play.
Then they said "after six years apart, my love has never changed.it winds around my heart, binding us together. This sword is only for my beloved, your heart, like mine, remains unchanged, together hand in hand, together for life" like it's miao jing acknowledging their relationship that they both still love each other and the promise and dream they saw 6 years ago to share all good and bad together for lifetime it still remains unchanged.

The whole Convo between chen yi and zhang bin is more like threat just handled very diplomatically by using metaphors of fish. That how zhang bin thought he fed chen yi so that he stays loyal to him but he is getting smarter. Then he very cleverly brought the Convo that how he trust chen yi ( which he don't) and indirectly threaten to harm miao jing( as someone new in his life) to get chen yi investigate who is leaking the info about his logistics company and again bringing onboard in his dirty business by hiring him to his company. Chen yi took the clue and that's why he agreed again to do something that he wants to stay away just to protect miao jing. When he knows if this time something wrong happen he can actually loose miao jing and he is afraid that he lacks power from stop happening that considering how big zhang bin is.

Apart from chen yi coming to the rescue of tuli and her son. And while starting of jealous era of chen yi from cen ye and miao jing. I guess we are forgetting that even though cen ye has/ had feelings for miao jing. He is very professional when it comes to work. He understood that there is clear misalignment within team and it can impact company and this project. The project leader trying to get info out of miao jing but failed to do so. But he still is like a snake in his house. Killing his own babies.

When it comes to auditing, it's a key that before auditing team completes the audit and reach conclusion the financial records, cash ledgers and tax returns should not handed over again to auditee as they can always tamper the data in the name of review and that project lead did exactly that. Plus cen ye didn't shy away to call out miao jing about missing gross margin formula( an indicator used to measure or check the health of company and identifying any frauds, scams by using raw data) and to avoid blame game as project leader was saying he did gave all raw data from inventory( meaning whether couriers and goods are matching shipment orders or not) to miao jing for consolidation and use metrics to complete her reports. But we all saw that how cen ye don't trust project leader and how miao jing was also investigating in inventory and fleet areas. So basically from auditing purpose the team is in misalignment and they need to again do thorough reinvestigation and report preparation before green pass that this logistics company is good to go for ipo and is credible to worth investing in with no scams.

Deep into auditing terms:-
It looks like drama references The "Ghost Fleet" and fake revenue to move smuggled goods or hide dirty money by creating fake shipping orders. like we saw in earlier ep that one of courier was saying suddenly how they are getting more boxes to pack and deliever.

If their revenue is spiking but their real fuel costs, driver payroll, and truck maintenance aren't matching up, their gross margin will look ridiculously high or unnatural. Exposing scam.

Then we have seen how tuli was getting cheap materials. Zhang Bin's operation labels crates as low-value, legal goods on the manifest to pay minimal tariffs or bypass heavy border inspections, while secretly transporting smuggled goods underneath that. All these to bypass custom duties and heavy tax paying.
