Why can't u make ur comments post in discussion forum? It's like a story that future watcher like me can read…
Hmm. I am more fascinated by her writing every emotions after each ep. Relating and thinking things like that is still easy. But putting into words is a lot more work. I just know this above msg will take atleast 30 min to write, research and put feelings into words. If her typing speed is good. Otherwise one hour easily. More than fascination it's appreciation for me to her. It's like someone else is putting exact thoughts of urs in post and u can just reply or like to get over with overwhelming feelings. It's like i felt seen with my feelings. As she also said if not said then restlessness takes over. And u try to hold back writing long paragraphs but then when u see not everyone specially in BL world is speaking in that depth u need to say to get over with it. I know i tried this method and omg it's so draining...plus another thing is that when u feel this deeply it comes very harsh to the viewer. Sometimes not to feel that deeply is a boon. U can trust me on that. Here, she is having safe space but in real life it's very traumatic as not everyone can take and understand emotions this deeply.

Huh......went tooooo personal. 😩 Asking for forgiveness in advance for taking ur this much time.
PS- Send friend request to her who knows if she accept it. 😊

PS PS- this is not public confession to her about my appreciation for her. But yeah whatever. Embarrassed

Correct. It's a fictional dynasty but set in real shanzou desert region. Although not true to historical aspect.…
And that's unfortunate also. I remember my history teacher explained why concept of enunch as right man of king came into place. It's because they knew too much and can use those info to upsurp the throne. But strangely still they were able to control kings in history. Not sure how much this concept is relevant to chinese history but yeah.

That's more of the reason why I am not able to understand why people are expecting this to be a romance centric drama. It's heavily political based drama. Chemistry is not even in my list here.

Ying Gua acts decisively—balancing the power of two chancellors in court while disguised as a sword-wielding vigilante fighting injustice in the streets.” I noticed this now. But more than that I feel very impressed by emperor. I in early ep days of this drama saw lots of comments that he is dumb. No he is not. He is very smart. I recently completed ep5 yesterday so I will take example from that. He used meng ting hui essay and understood the copying case and malpractice so he distributed the essay to women school where meng ting hui is so that she knows what happened to her. Then only she took it to another level and spread essay. All this whole emperor knew she will act on it exactly how and that's why he was waiting on her. Then news spread and then only he ques his ministry of rites because of public pressure. All of these never happened if he never indirectly let meng ting hui know that her essay was copied.

Hmm.These are actually true things that used to happen in real world history. Idk about China but in my country king often used to disguise as common people to understand ground reality and take on the justice part. Because it's hard to meet emperor that time so they didn't even knew how emperor looked like. Atleast in my country. So i found it relatable here.

If i am not wrong, ministers used to be powerful. I remember someone posted in Imperial Coroner review that in late Tang Dynasty enunchs were so powerful that they often used to poison king or murder king in coup once they raise their voice. Plus if u remember in lots of wuxia dramas the minister powerful concept was shown " the royal princess", " the double"....

Yes here i can feel xianxia vibes and only ur point valid when the ministers specially chancellor xu act on his own will to enter ancestral hall, give EMPEROR nameplate saying he is falling in love and can ruin the kingdom and speak that boldly. No one in history has ever done that. Except in Xianxia where powerful gods used to give verdict to other righteous and talented people.

Edit:- emperor sitting inside palace only makes sense when he has big geographical empire and his institutions are working. Here clearly not.

I actually feel u. Don't come on me as a stalker if i secretly tell u I went through ur MDL account and found lots of things common with me.

U and me both think very emotionally. I absolutely love ur comment... sometimes when we feel a lot in this depth our minds are not organised to form a structured view of what we are feeling. We can't help but write to get it organised and get over with overwhelming emotions. But it's equally tiring. Feeling and researching each words and meaning behind that. Understanding from characters and story pov is actually very energy consuming. But thanks for doing this.

Sending virtual tea to u😂☕ went very off topic but thanks.

This is a fictional story set in a made-up kingdom inspired by dynastic China. It was never meant to be a true…
Correct. It's a fictional dynasty but set in real shanzou desert region. Although not true to historical aspect. But i think i smell that they did took lots of inspiration from the historical events across world.

I think most people here are expecting diff. They are expecting this to be a romance oriented drama. But it actually is a political drama with romance as a pinch of salt.

Title Love for You Spoiler
In ep20, the whole auditing thing has been shown so nicely. Every dots till now are connecting. They used extra trucks to show they require more trucks to dispatch and deliever the less no of tons of goods. They didn't changed no as they knew in auditing if they go to client here chenpeng then they will match records and if no are not matching they will get exposed. Instead they showed they are using more trucks to deliver goods safely but beneath that in those trucks goes goods which were never ordered or money laundering. First it's a about inventory and warehouses to check and calculate the mismatch in current assets of huoyun logistics. Then they said about products and suppliers that how procedures were not thoroughly followed before any cooperation sacrificing quality of goods they are delievery to actual customers( tu li case). Somehow when they said i am cooperating and u can check warehouses after the project lead handed the files to auditee before conclusion of investigation they re revised it. Then now the investigation is going on fleet level. It's intresting that this show exactly showed how trucks changed or isn't using name plates so as to make them hard to track the trucks. But the ques is how can a truck can be run on road without nameplate? How is this possible? Traffic police can always hunt down. And police here doesn't seem to be involved in their crimes. This will see in later ep. It's interesting.

Somehow, chen yi is playing very smart on surface he is using miao jing's remark that they don't follow procedure to show how he had huoyang logistics are cooperating to both sides. Inside he very cleverly used this tactic to even show zhang bin that he is loyal as zhang bin said this company is doing legal business. So following rules is not an issue. But greater objective is that he check every file miao jing and cen ye will be getting so he gets aware of the risk with each file.

The warehouse and miao jing safety was a careful transactional trade. He gave cen ye the warehouse where problem lies and just wanted to make sure he don't involve miao jing. That's why he was furious why after Convo he still brought miao jing for investigation. But he played along to let her get original logs in the disguise of a "genuine chenpeng delievery issue".

This is the stage where they are open and accepted their love. And both are sacrificing something for this connection. Chen yi sacrifices one can see loudly in drama. But miao jing investigation is also imp in order to free themselves from zhang bin.

Is cen ye having germophobia or ocd or he find chen yi as disgusting? Because first in table dining he used tissue paper to clean the glass he touched and then in office he wiped his hand and dropped his smile after handshaking with him.

Honestly, though I'm enjoying this – I can very much see your point. In real life Okumi would seem very creepy.…
Thank you. That's what I was saying. In real life this kind of behavior is too creepy. This is fiction that's why it's ok. But still they need to deal with it very properly. I have less problem with older younger relationship or employee employee relationship. I have more problem with 17 year age gap. It's huge. Plus when Ai acts cute and childish. To me it becomes more uncomfortable. And that's why I said this drama took the challenge so big. One miscalculation in writing and everything is wrong.

Here, since it's fiction it's interesting to know how they tackle it. But somewhere what I said and u gave me spoiler that Ai will act mature and realise this gap. That's what I want to see.

Idk if i am enjoying it or not. But i am able to watch it. So i will continue watching. Because JBL is not my thing. This is exception. Or maybe this can become a start to finally get me into JBL who knows? Thanks for ur reply and understanding. Good day :)

I am little bit confused by ur comment. U clearly laid out everything I so far understood in this drama. But even…
Hmm. I see. What u said if her character is simply having the emotion same as ep1. I can understand why it came out like that. I am in ep5 so no comments on that part.

While i agree everything u said. I will just say one thing. Calling out surely is not social justice in itself. But it's a path to that. Calling out means something is wrong and it should not be there.

Past trauma give them special social rights? Who came up with this? I think they just understand more when someone is going through same situation. Social right is equal and it's given to everyone equally. Whats with more and not more? It's kind of violation of the core concept of social justice itself. Social justice says everyone should be equal and treated equal. I don't know this. Never read when I was reading constitution or any international justice forums not even in UN fora.

While u approach drama for diff reason. I approach drama like this solely because it helps me in revising and getting more understanding of what and how along with its effects to understand administration. So i treat every political drama as s case study to supplement my studies.

But i get ur pov. Thanks for sharing ur thoughts. I will keep in mind the 2*2=4 but not still not 3D concept. I will steal this to write it in my essay. If u haven't patented it. 😅😂

Happy weekend :)

Huh? Girl. U can't pinpoint everything I get it. It starts at ep4. I got ur message. I watched till ep3. I will keep ur points about those moments in my mind when I will watch.

I never completed this series in the first place. Yes watched lots of yt shots so i agree on that. I never said i rewatched multiple times.

And so what? Whether i doomscroll or not. it's my life. I don't have an attention span of 30sec. I have watched and still watching more complex stories than this. Those are definitely not netflix dramas. U don't need to be rude about that. As i said i n my post i genuinely asked.

If u can't stand people with diff opinion. Ur problem. If someone is genuinely trying to watch a drama without any prejudice and have some doubt then i don't see any problem with me here.

Episodes 9-12 = The story makes absolutely no sense;1. The female protagonist (FL) is new to the capital.2. FL…
😅 . Well i watched till ep5. And while watching further ep i will take ur criticism in consideration .Because ur criticism makes sense to me as someone who is deeply interested in politics and administration.

But as a person who didn't watched till that ep if i go through ur points. Somewhere i think it makes sense if think differently. Allow me to explain.

For point 3. What emperor lacks? An institution that investigate matters and at the same time have the authority to serve justice. Emperor already has people who secretly conducts investigation and envoy of customs i.e. Shen. His power is to handle customs giving him power to understand the linkages of arms from? How? Who? Where? Why? But that's all to it. Other companions of emperor clearly can find out things he wanted to know but they lack the power to act on it as emperor himself is bound. Plus they are not institutionalised so they lack accountability and people's trust that comes with it.
By, giving meng ting hui this position of new head emperor has tackled lot of things.
One he already know meng ting hui is capable of investigation from Shazou case.
Second he know he can trust her as she is truly seeking justice and want to change the system aiding him perfect blade for him.
This is my assumption i think emperor thought intelligence bureau head is corrupted or not with him. So he want to plant meng ting hui whom he trust there.
Three, emperor believes her that she will utilise her power as the institution and people will trust her more. And let's not forget, she is the first court official so women naturally can come to her which was earlier little bit restrained as sometimes women better want to go to another women to share problem. Plus let's not forget most ministers show patriarchal concept like chancellor xu who think women can't handle court and state matters. So this is proving them wrong.
Four, meng ting hui she can personally investigate cases with full power of hers as an institution whatever his majesty wants. As she is his person( not romantic but an aide) helping her counter corruption in court.

4th point. It shows that emperor wants meng ting hui to have a institution from scratch so that there are no moles. It doesn't assure new institution will not have but it also proves my 3point theory and maybe emperor trust no one in that institution. That's why. I am saying MAYBE.

5th point. Agreed. Intelligence bureau is not only mind work. One should know marital arts and one of the assistants should have. I will take this as criticism in writing.

6th point. Hmm. Idk. Why would anyone intelligence bureau will need its own special forces? I think inspiration here is from real world how these institutions work. Don't intelligence bureau keep people well versed with both mind and arms and in case of cases requiring high military power or any military power they go for taking help from state or central police or national defence army in worst spy cases. Plus, emperor will never want to give military power to sn institution there is always a chance of coup. Warlords are diff. They go to diff areas and they have land, they pay taxes and pledge loyalty to king and in exchange they keep labourers or army. But that concept is with people who have lands or governer of military base. Yes, ministry of war can have separate army. But why a intelligence bureau. I am not sure of this.
