In ep3, Tongzhou is a good person? But why is he interested in FL? Is he attracted to her? Or just he want to keep eyes on ML as he think he is talented?

Ques- ig drama hasn't covered it yet. But why dayin has chosen FL as her master? Past connection??

Not all can watch heavy themes. Not all can think after getting SAed to have a happy ending. Not all can understand the complex and layered characters. Although have some faults in this drama but it still surpasses lot of drama with acting, cinematography, ost, depth of characters and not to mention able to hold their audience till the end by roller coaster ride.

What u are saying is true. But is little jane critical thinking adult? He is only 18 ig. College first year. He just became adult and I said he is dumb to fall for him. But he is a good person also. He always think about others and he actually has a pure heart.

Plus one genuine thought. If all ur life u have put urself last and suddenly someone starts giving u this much special feeling. It's in a very human nature to have soft corner for that person. What shocks me is that little jane never ques why he is treating him special? Why all these care is coming? And never try to ask about the truth behind the rumour. So he ignored all red flags. And that's how one fall into the trap of the devil.

I was talking about show. Idk why YC bought house when lufeng was about to go to therapy.

In novel, after coming out for coma. He had one house on rent. And ig he used to make money that time from his shop to pay ig to lufeng. But lufeng used to visit his house. His living condition was poor. His house often used to run down and yichen could barely eat/ afford instant noodles. When lufeng said that he don't need to live in this poverty yichen denied and said he don't want to move back in his house. Because it was scary. How could yichen trust lufeng after all that happened.

But actually song wei long drama "eternal fragrance" is airing. His fandom will be busy. And FL has acting talent. Saw her in Reborn so good.

Why same day release means competition? Do we need to choose one drama? And support one? We can choose to watch both and love both or any. It depends on plot, acting.

I actually agree with everything u said. Lufeng pov was imp because book never touches it from his pov just yichen's feelings were compromised but it make sense if story is from lufeng side because most of the time yichen is bad communicator so lufeng actually almost never understood how yichen feels with certainty.

But I will give one thing to lufeng. He has done lot of unforgivable things but he was also the person who was ready to start over and over again with yichen from zero. His logic was simple just to see yichen( till the last). He just never wanted yichen to disappear on him. But i understand his feelings from where he is coming.

Idk what series added which was chef kiss. But for me the whole school days relationship of them was soo beautiful. The way they used to look at each other and smile fully. ( Ayden's fault for making me fell in love with his smile). I remember one scene apart from chocolate one where lufeng was moving himself closer to yichen when he was explaining remote control games yichen played on his childhood. Shows how he is falling in love with him and how he is entering yichen's life. So beautiful. Another one my fav was when yichen was sleeping on bench and lufeng after playing basketball came and saw him there admiring his Beauty. How to forget that. Plus one more scene when yichen fell from push and the first time lufeng saw yichen and the look lufeng had was sooo mesmerizing like he was mesmerized by yichen's beauty. Those school days were sooo good.


About yichen and lufeng lukewarm situation, i remember from novel. Both were obsessed. Since it was never shown that way in drama. It's understandable why people think yichen was having traits of machosit.

But it actually is a proper xianxia after Love beyond the grave which I didn't liked much. Like tbh i was waiting a lot because these days proper xianxia is not coming. Mostly are wuxia and period dramas. Maybe they don't like something but still rating is too low. I am in very early ep so can't say anything. But atleast it's not bad. It was little bit funny.

Some people do. But overall let's see how it goes till the end to decide reviews. I am liking it so far. My cdrama slump is recovering because lately I was not able to complete anything from xianxia category after When destiny brings the demon- Long for fish. Because TTEOTM and LBFAD has set standard so high in 2023.

It was actually shocking to me. Generally cdrama don't get this low rating specially idol romance drama. Last i saw this low rating in ZZA but that was pure wuxia with no romance arc and rebirth sigh. That's why I asked. Because this low rating implies plot is bad( for me). Personal preference also comes here. Like for me Mo li aka The First Jasmine or LBTG didn't worked. Although I do agree FL is not a good actress( my opinion) but ML just gave good acting in Shine On Me. So i was confused. Plus cinematography actually made me feel good in ep1. So fairy...like one can expect in Xianxia.

About yichen's pov it would be better if you read book as drama don't explain well. It's downside. But tbh drama is very very very dark so read accordingly.

About Zhou lan first be clear in drama she married a person who loved her after her divorce. So no need to feel bad for her. As to why she married yichen in first place idk. In drama it's very confusing if she knew or not. But in book as far as i remember, she never knew yichen didn't loved her and yichen unlike in drama he himself proposed after lot of consideration to marry her.

Actually it's been long since i am teleported to another world like TTEOTM and LBFAD . So i was feeling that vibe. So fairy tale type. I love it.

Why rating is soo low. Is it really that bad? I just completed ep1 although it's too early to judge but i an having my fingers crossed as this gives me old 2023 xianxia vibes. But really is it bad?

Also if u look closely I think in drama they have told numerous times by showing cage, bird, diff colour grading and clothes choice in every phase of their relationship and the sunflower petals falling and then chains over bed then double pendulum. Plus their intimacy couch also guided correctly if i remember yichen after getting scarred from lufeng he just lied in bed in cocoon shaped. And that posture specifically means hurt and a person seeking protection.
