Hmm. Actually I have been thinking this. I remember miao jing had abandonment issues. Maybe this arc will give her closure. It's us who know that her mother was in jail and that's why she can't contact her. It's us who know deep down her mother never wanted to abandon her. Otherwise even after parting ways in bus station, her mother would have not keep investing in the insurance plan. Yes she loved money more. But she really loved miao jing. I think deep down it's a mix of both. She never understood the true essence of being a family. Which is to be there in all highs and lows. She thought just giving her daughter good life is enough but no. Materialistic sufficiency is imp but so as emotional availability. Also i think deep down she cared about herself more also. She wanted a good life for herself. Nothing wrong with that. But it came at the cost of her leaving own daughter. Which she cried for in bus station as well and she is realising now when she saw another mother daughter bond. They had less money but they shared beautiful bond which she and miao jing lacks.

We also talk less about miao jing trauma. Yes. She was loved by chen yi, cop and wen. But a mother's love can't be replaced. This will make miao jing realise that she was always loved by her mother and maybe her inner child can accept the truth. It will be easy on her rather than living with the perception that her mother abandoned her and didn't loved her.

But i feel equally bad for chen yi. He never got love from his father. I think the cop is giving him a parental love. Which is good but sad as well.

Ep2, i think shi yuhao came into qing lang's life like a lesson. That relationship taught Qing Lang what happens when love exists without emotional reciprocity, and that knowledge allowed him to recognize something different when it came along. It's also interesting the timeline of meeting of chang yang and qing lang. It's like life is asking qing lang to choose. In one hand he has chang yang whom he find interesting and is opening up with him as he already said him to come down from the mountain and be his assistant. And in another hand he has unresolved feelings for shi yuhao. Not necessary love. But a unresolved and unnamed feeling that comes after love is gone but closure and some ques still not answered and before letting go of that person completely from mind and heart.

Shi yuhao was still impacting qing lang not because he still love him. But because their separation was never clean. He wanted ans as to why certain things happened. That's why in variety show he said yes because he wanted to know where he is and the online rumours impacted him because he indeed shared some history with him...it is also a mix of celebrity seeing online comments and getting troubled with it.

But when shi yuhao came to him to sorry and be back with him. He realised thats all he need. Qing lang has already moved on from him. And with this Convo he can finally let it go. Because the very sorry he was craving for...for years now when being said is no longer imp to him. Even he chose to quit variety show after this Convo.

He chose new chapter of life which is without shu yuhao and with chang yang slowly becoming part of it.

Ep17, yucheng i know u did wrong in a moment to reach high merit. You couldn't see the injustice that has happened. U just wanted to see ur mother happy before dying. U had nothing but free will while being a salt smuggler but when u were in military u had law and everything but still has to lose to injustice and free will. Out of heat in a moment u claimed 16 heads earned by killing innocent civilians by that Lu. U hated it but u wanted merit. And u took the bait of falling into the trap YJX set. But soon u realised that there is no shortcut to this and u had to loose ur mother and ur own head to make up for those 16 heads which were not truly urs but now the merit is urs. U decided that all these road to splendor that looks glamourous was never a shortcut path. U paid heavy price of ur lies. Saw ur own brother in trouble and can't be there with ur mother in her last breathe. U realised that this is not the splendid u wanted. And as a last act of loyalty to ur brothers and regret and with the assurity that u have no one for whom u can live u gave up ur life. That's the road of splendor u chose. The splendor of loyalty, realisation, importance of patience and wait. U learnt all these lessons in ur last days of life which defined ur path. Even after death u will be remembered as a true loyal brother to zhao ling, a son who just wanted a better life for his mother. Parting ways with u as a character yucheng...i hope u get reunited with ur mother in afterlife. I am sure ur mother will be proud of u that despite making mistake u owned them and tried to correct them even at the cost of ur life.

Really? I just completed lantern festival and how Tingyun and zhao ling lighten that. It was so intimate. But my mood went instantly off that...that YJX wanted to be that close with Tingyun. Yuckkkkkkkkk. He disgust me. I won't dirty my hands by wanting to kill him.

We meet somewhere in another drama chats which again offer a story with this much depth which i fear it will be in near future. Because to create a drama in this level is hard unless it's from same production.

Ep24 remaining review. I just don't understand some parents. She was the one who chose to ignore miao jing. She was always busy in making money that she never paid attention to what she likes. She never stood by miao jing's side. She was left alone to suffer. Had it not been chen yi she would have no one to rely on. Ofcourse miao jing is a strong girl. But she is also a human being. She needs someone as a growing teenage girl. But she got nothing from her mother. Her mother left her because she loved money more than her. And when she years apart is going to die she comes out to seek a human connection? Suddenly now she regrets it? She is not short of money but she has no genuine human connection with anyone.and she deserved that. Not all parents deserve to be parents. Now that miao jing says we met now go. We don't need two hours like it's always been, suddenly her mother wants to spend time with miao jing? Seriously? I know she loved her and cared for her. But she also left her. So what's with this redemption arc?

Ep23-24 mid review. This is what I wanted. It has auditing thing but also story is moving forward. It is maintaining balance. Why in the earlier tedious auditing heavy ep this was not maintained idk. My head was constantly getting burnout in those ep.

Here, let's talk about tuli and cen ye. I loved tuli got closure. She realised she is in love with chen yi and moving on will take time. She confessed, got rejected and now she can close this chapter. I loved chen yi didn't sugarcoated it and said his feelings honestly, he even said to come to him in case of need.

Cen ye has every right to hold on to the false hope he is having. Because to him, he sees miao jing came to teng city for chen yi. They were ex. He saw both love each other but are not on same page. Miao Jing moves out from home which is a big step. But he also got to know she is thinking about moving back to hai city meaning she is considering that maybe she should leave chen yi for his own good. So i understand him. I just don't like him idk y. He gets too close to miao jing as an ex and as a boss often blurring lines so I don't like it.

I hope chen yi realises that what he dreamt is coming true. Miao Jing is actually leaving slowly in her way. I don't understand why he can just leave for job country without saying much to miao jing. Had it not been her who ques him, he would never tell her? Is it that easy for him to leave her? Knowing the danger? Even for her sake? So miao jing did right. She also moved out without telling. They need to maintain distance and think is that really they want? Can they live without each other? And if no then why they have to put their life in danger always?

Whoever has written script, they are talented people. Because the way zhang bin talks about family, trust and all good things. But beneath it he is venomous. He threaten in every possible way to both chen yi and miao jing. How cleverly he dragged miao jing name as auditor to take responsibility and showed to chen yi to threaten him under the words of how they both are helping him. How zhang bin said that police investigation was done but thanks to u working from both sides we dodged the bullet. But it's a threat. God. This zhang bin man is a fox.

The cop story is just not moving forward. I wanted to see what happened with the case he said he is confident with. What chen yi is doing that made him thanking chen yi as Wen's husband?

The story is taking too long to uncover the past chapter. And now my patience is running out.

I don't want to reveal myself. But my shift timing is 11am to 8-11pm. IT job afterall. MBA Finance is 6 hours. Plus practice sheets. Plus household chores as i have to cook as well. Then about civil services i will not say anything. It was my dream. Which i have to stop as sometimes life is not in ur favour. I was dealing with depression because of this. But atleast dramas and Masters give me a will to wake up in the morning..so i am improving. U can search UPSC and u will understand why i have to leave it. 😅 If not dramas I don't know how to live.

Whenever I see Love Destiny and my mind goes like there we go again. I don't know why Leng just don't get good scripts. He is constantly getting bad scripts. I want to root for him badly but his production house and his script choices are not letting me. I can't even see his acting when the story itself is meh.... because why in the world i will be intrested in 20-30 min of durian chips. There is no romance. Sure not every series has to be romantic but it was marketed as romance. So idk i think Love Upon A Time was thousand times better than this. They could have explored thousand of things but no. They have to ruin it. I was actually hoping that there was both past and present life going simultaneously so it will be diff. And indeed it was diff. It was worse. So if GMMTV is that capable to ruin time travel stories for me idk what to expect from this production house.
