Oh man! Wang Qing's acting is too stiff and monotonous! And this whole plot is almost too-wtf! That woman is such a psycho but her end was seriously too meh! Thank god this is just 12 eps. However, it's too dog-blood for me to digest, though I finished. watching till the end.
The best k-drama (ever) in terms of different timelines! The cast was simply marvelous too! I think this was what set precedence to newer shows like Tunnel. Love the OST too!
I've watched all of them and really enjoys this genre very much (if done right)! And I think Love O2O started the whole e-game drama genre and brought it immense success. I think of all the four, I found Gank Your Heart too draggy. Then again, it was through this show, I am introduced to Wang Yi Bo (it's a shame that I couldn't complete The Untamed - not my type of show). I enjoyed The King's Avatar the most (the game parts are the best!). Looking forward to more shows in this genre! :D
P.S.: thanks for this write-up! It's a great place to be on MDL, to come across all the various kinds of articles! :)
Is this really happening!? Does anyone know of the latest update to this? After the ending of S1, I have a lot of doubt that it'll be a continuation from there. Anyway, I cannot wait for another YZ's show!
One thing that I learned about MDL is not everyone who is on the website agrees with me.....go figure. I can tell…
I'll give it a go based on your recommendation of the the two supporting characters. There hasn't been a decent CNdrama lately to keep me hooked, so I've jumped ship back to K-land. Once I'm done with Designated Survivor, I'll check this out!
Yes to all, but Midnight Snack Couple. I swear, after Moon Embracing The Sun, JIW has a lot of hit-or-miss dramas. Which is such a waste to me. He's such an expressive actor.
Is the drama that good? I cannot stand Sean Xiao's acting. I like Wang Yibo better, but he's also still stiff to me. I've seen raving reviews, but it's not enough to convince me to check it out. Usually, those highly raved ones turn out quite dog-blood to me. =/
I enjoyed the sportsmanship and team camaraderie. NGM sure hard-carry this show, but I'm really surprised at how much PEB's acting has improved! The show made sure to showcase each character's growth and for once, I actually felt most characters had their time to shine in the story. It's been awhile since there was such an enjoyable sports drama (though I know nothing about baseball). I will fondly cherish the Dream spirit!
