This write-up had me cracking up big time! Thank you for the morning laughter, right before I start work! That aside, I am downloading this show and planning to watch it once it's completely subbed. Man, MDL needs to feature more of this kind of article. I like the flamboyant tone. It's more dramatic, or rather more picturesque? Haha... Thanks for this! :D

I like this show! I love how there's a balance between humor, heartwarming, and angst between the story and characters. But to those who have not started watching, please do not keep your expectations up! It's one of those we've-seen-we've-heard but the cast is what makes this good in its own rights. :)

Agree about Lee Joon Hyuk. This is the best performance I've seen of Lee Joon Hyuk more natural than his previous…
Hopefully, he'll be able to find his "It" drama some day!

This show is by far 11 out of 10! Solid, engaging, plot-twist over plot-twists, in short, absolutely memorable! I honestly don't know what to expect for Season 2. But I pray that it will be able to carry on the torch from Season 1. I would be most disappointed if Season 2 fails to live up to expectations then. All the best to the casts and production crew! :D

For starters, I have to say, the FL is super pretty! And the ML is really endearing in his own way. I think I found the scene where they both walked towards the ML's family members and her wearing his mother's qipao. Aside from that, I found this show to hold no substance or depth, which is good. Nothing dog-blood, I finished this in under 3 hours (with skipping, of course). To rewatch? I think I can name over better 24-eps CNdramas that are worth rewatching. Well, just my humble opinion.

I've watched a lot of weekend dramas! Some are great, some are really worth the facepalm every single week. But the most controversial yet memorable weekend drama I've ever watched was New Tales of Gisaeng. I swear, 9 years on, it's still so vivid in my head!

I don't get it. I mean, I get the whole top-rated writer and cast, but the entire story? I'm not sure about it. I kinda feel like it's over-rated. Like it's okay but not engaging enough to be registered as memorable. I dunno, a meh maybe?

Eish Luna :/ Just finished episode 11 and many at times her character seriously annoys me...But am curious to…
Both ML/FL will be tried till the very end. I suspect things will get as dramatic as possible. I could be wrong. But it's always that way: all the sweetness in the front, the angst at the back, then super short sweetness to abruptly end things! So I don't have much expectations. I will probably savor as much of Dilraba/Johnny on-screen chemistry as much as possible when I binge-watch this.

I didn't dare to watch past episode 11 cuz I'm afraid I'll either be sorely disappointed later on or I'd be too frustrated that I could flip a table! I think I'll wait till this finishes and binge-watch. Btw, lovely GIFs! Thanks for sharing! :D

This was good. I really like it. Solid acting by the casts, the storyline was convincing, and most importantly, I truly wish that in reality, my country can be led by someone of such good values and ethics too. Memorable, truly memorable.

I actually enjoyed this drama. Like how I enjoyed "A Piece of Your Mind". Thanks for this write-up! It was what made me looked into the drama and I've not looked back since! :)

This version's trailer seems the best so far (over the versions that I've seen [TW, KR, TH])! I'm stoked! :D Come out already!

Both leads have some really attractive on-screen chemistry! Other than that, I basically skipped through most parts of it, read all the reviews online which most of them sums up the drama pretty well and yup, that was it.

This show turned out to have exceeded all expectations! Also, I've noticed that Netflix-style dramas tend to go back and forth? I noticed that many minor details usually get aired much later on; very similar to The King: Eternal Monarch. Anyway, I watched this well, laughed well and also cried very well. This will go down as one of the most memorable k-dramas that I've watched!

I think that the drama isn’t that bad. Its the plot that gets kind of annoying but the two male leads really…
Hmmm... Then I'll probably shelf this first and look into it when I really having nothing to watch. Thanks for the feedback though! :D

Is this show any good? It seems to be trending at #2 on iQiyi, behind Love Designer.

A Meteor Garden senior-junior match-up! Though I couldn't stand her acting in the 2018 version! I hope this will do well. He really did receive a lot of flak after fans found out that he's doing an idol drama at 42 while Lin Chiling has tied the knot with Akira. Don't think I'll watch this. All the best to the cast and show!

P.S.: I'll be back to check out the comments for spoilers when this airs! Haha!
