Such an in-depth description. Alot to process. But how's the romance and any love triangles?
The romance is great. FL falls first and chases after ML, but he starts reciprocating soon enough. There are no misunderstandings between them, they're loyal to each other, love each other and are willing to sacrifice themselves for each other. 2ML also seemingly likes FL, but his love isn't exactly purely romantic. I don't want to spoil too much, but he's kinda complicated and his reasons for chasing FL are unique. FL sets clear boundaries between them tho.
Im watching Bloody Romance now and it's so good! Wang Duo as Gongzi will entertain you so much, he is smart AF.
I've seen 4 episodes last night, but I couldn't completely focus because my head was still filled with this drama, lol. I do agree he is amazing there! And he looks so different. I love it!
I finally wrote my review, and now I can move on, I think. Watching this drama and talking to all of you has been such a joy. I don’t remember the last time I got so invested in a drama and I watch a lot of them. Anyway, thank you everyone!
I’ll still hang around this comment section, but I can finally focus on other dramas, lol.
My feeling for the last episode is just confused. The last arc was way too long because I skipped all of it. I…
He was trapped there for the next 10 000 years, same as the first time, because they had to make sure everything that happened before happens again. However, in the current timeline he is free (because 10 000 years have passed), and the person MXL meets in the last scene is DL ZM who 'merged' with XXC, but since he came to terms with everything and abandoned his revenge, he has a personality that is more like original ZM/XXC.
This is NOT me trying to invalidate other people's opinions, but I find it really interesting how differently we all view the same things. I've seen several people complain that there are too many side characters and that it slows down the main story. However, personally, I always had the impression that there were not many supporting characters at all. I even wanted to mention it in my review. 😂 The focus was mostly on the three main leads, with just 2-3 episodes dedicated to GQM & FLS, and that couple from 6000 years ago. Even then, it was all tied into the main plot. There was also Sang Qi, whose story was actually really interesting! Am I the only one who was surprised by how small the supporting cast was? Maybe it’s because I was also watching MM at the same time, where new characters pop up and die in almost every episode/arc, lol.
Yes. XXC incorporated with DLZM and happy with MXL 🌸❤️
Yes, it's happy. People who read the original novel don't like it because this adaptation changed some things and didn't show their domestic life, I guess. They could've expanded on that. In the novel they had kids (?) and none of that was shown here.
Other characters also had decent endings. Not everyone survived, but it was still satisfying IMO.
Where are you guys moving too next. like all good dramas are ending, left with Moonlight Mystique😩
I need to finish MM, and I planned on watching Everlasting Longing and I Am Nobody, but first need to check out Bloody Romance. I want to focus on Wang Duo for now 😋
I watched final episode twice and still I can't figure out what I missed!! Does anyone knows what happened to…
He Xian Wo? He died several episodes ago, after NXY tried to kill him and XXC. He ascended to the Heavenly Realm and after discovering the truth about ZM/XXC I believe he self-destructed.
So I'm not going to say that everything made perfect sense but to me (and I didn't read the novel just going off…
Exactly. I don’t understand why people find it hard to believe that someone who doesn’t love anyone on a personal level would still not want to see the entire world destroyed and reset. He’s a being with reason, and given that, it was only a matter of time before he started defying a tyrant who treats everyone like puppets.
Somebody pls tell me what happened to demon lord zhao ming😭
He basically came to terms with everything, abandoned the whole revenge plan, saved the world together with CP and TMS, then willingly allowed himself to be sealed for another 10 000 years and in the current timeline he got a happy ending with MXL. He's basically merged with XXC/returned to his original personality.
What happened to the male lead in the lava at the end of the series? He was again jailed there r8?
Well yeah, but when you say he went to sleep and will never awaken again it sounds so gloomy. 😂 I took it as him coming to terms with everything that happened, choosing to forgive and just naturally returning to his original ZM/XXC personality/merging.
But basically, we both think the same, just phrasing it differently.
I don't understand the ending...Can somebody explain please?
They worked with their past selves to kill HT. Once they succeeded, their past selves had to reenact everything that happened the first time in order to preserve the future where HT was killed. To ensure this, ZM willingly agreed to be sealed again for the next 10 000 years, while CP followed the same path as before. In the current timeline DL ZM merged with XXC, and MXL inherited CP's memories and they got their happy ending. That's how I understood it.

Thanks, I will! 🤭
The rating for EL keeps dropping, but I hope it's not that bad.

I hope he gets more leading roles in the future, he's too talented to always play a 2ML/supporting character.
