It's kinda boring? I'm on ep. 27 and struggling to finish it. The way they're solving cases and moving towards revealing the main conspiracy is just not doing it for me.
I only watched You Are My Hero and I loved it. When it comes to C-Dramas I mostly watch period/wuxia/xianxia dramas, and very rarely modern ones. It's very superficial of me but I think boring 'group picture' type of official posters don't attract my attention so I never even check them out unless some of my favorite actors are in them. This list seems good tho, I'll check out Forever Love and Remembrance of Things Past. Thank you!
The story in general is actually interesting even though some aspects are lacking and the bromance between Shen Wei and Zhao YunLan is good, but the production looks really cheap and the acting from side characters is honestly not that good.
I do value interesting stories over anything else so I still find this enjoyable to watch, but I can understand those who can't get into it. It's taking me months to finish it even though I devoured first 20 episodes in only couple of days. I can only imagine how good this could've been with higher budget.
Also, Zhu Yi Long in this is amazing. I love everything from the acting to the styling. A few months ago I watched one of his movies in the cinema and I didn't recognize him at all (it was around the time I started watching this drama as well). He was unrecognisable in that role and it's a testament to his acting.
This was so sweet! It dealt with some serious issues but in a fun way & Kotaro is just too adorable. I love his relationship with other tenants, especially Karino. 8.5/10
I enjoyed the beginning, then got tired of it around ep. 10, but the second half picked up the pace and I ended up enjoying it. I don't like how some characters acted too cartoonish at times (I know it's supposed to be funny and all but I'm not the fan of it), but all in all I liked most of them. Sun Xiang actually becoming a decent person by the end was a nice bonus, lol.
I like everything concerning the actual game they play, and the competitions were also thrilling and fun to watch.
The post is about shows starring BTS not shows starring all the K-pop groups. And where did anyone said that k-pop…
Okay, and? Everyone is free to make another article about other groups and their members?
Imagine someone writing "why don't you write about Ji Chang Wook?" under someone's article about Jung Hae In followed by "Jung Hae In is not the only actor in Korea". It makes no sense. People write about actors/groups they like, they're not obligated to write about everyone.
I didn't expect to see article about BTS here. 😂 It's nice and short, I love it!
I actually got into the whole world of k-dramas because of Hwarang and I watched Hwarang because of Taehyung. It wasn't my first k-drama because I watched some on TV when I was younger, but intentionally searching for Hwarang back then and finding sites with only Asian dramas was a revelation.
I also love their soundtracks. Christmas Tree from My Beloved Summer is probably my favourite.
Hmm, I watched both and I liked The Untamed much more. Even though AoS had interesting premise and better CGI and action scenes than TU, the story progression was just painfully slow and there were so many scenes where characters just sat around and talked, doing absolutely nothing interesting. With TU on the other hand it felt like every moment was important to the story and in the end it all fell perfectly into place.
TU was my first Chinese drama and after watching it I realised 50 episodes is really not that hard to watch. I'll also watch the second season of AoS because generally speaking I like the main premise and want to see how it all ends, but I hope it will be more fast-paced.
He's one of my favorite actors, mostly for his roles in costume dramas. I love how he makes suffering of his characters look beautiful and poetic (yeah, I have a thing for angst). I do look forward to Southwind Knows My Mood too.
BTW, I didn't know that he dubbed Xuan Ye!?! He was my favorite character even though he was in like 3 episodes, lol.
Anyway, this was a good article. Thank you for writing it!
Its not a happy ending, but you dont watch this just for the ending. I also mostly prefer happy endings myself…
Okay, thank you! I don't mind sad endings, sometimes they even make more sense, but I wanted to watch this with someone who only likes happy endings so I had to check.
I haven't finished yet so I'll refrain from talking about the story (even though I have to say it's really good in these first 9 episodes) but THE CINEMATOGRAPHY!!! I don't remember the last time I watched something as visually stunning as this drama. It's top-notch.
I really don't understand why it has a relatively low rating (compared to some other dramas). It's a shame.
