I don't know anything about psychiatric hospitals, but that being said I don't think this type of violence against patients is(was?) allowed? It was a bit over the top.
Other than that, I don't really have any complaints. It's a great movie with satisfying ending, good acting and bittersweet story.
They FINISHED filming in 2021 so I really don't understand what the holdup isπ₯²
π that's the type of shit I would expect from c-drama, not from k-drama. But if they already filmed it we'll probably see it one day. Hopefully. *fingers crossed*
Haha! Kinda weird drama, it is good that I haven't watched it. I think the increase in rating is primarily as…
Sorry, it's been ages.
No one really knows the algorithm but back then they removed accounts who were trying to sway the ratings (I guess users who had multiple accounts with same IP address) and they also removed scores from people who hadn't viewed at least 1/5 of the show.
she's forced to marry and live with this shameless man who seems to be obsessed with hao jia, and all she's ever…
Yeah well, that doesn't excuse her behaviour. He was also forced to marry someone he didn't like but he didn't resort to hitting and abusing her. What did she expect, for him to like her after all that? π
But I say again, I could accept her behaviour if they somehow showed that both of them were responsible for the failure of their marriage because they come from different cultures and have different views. Instead of doing that they painted him as the villain and sent him to grovel at her feet. That's bs.
Iβm totally with you on that! Iβm mean I kind of see how they are trying to bring all this modern ideas into…
Exactly. I see what they're trying to do with the modern ideas, especially feminism, but the execution is just not it. All these 'in your face' historical anachronisms are jarring. That's why I decided to view it as a fantasy/comedy and throw all logic out the window and I may find it more enjoyable.
I'm hoping that youre still watching this, will as for me I'm also kinda annoyed at first that the lady is always…
I am. I don't like dropping dramas so I'll definitely give this one a chance.
You're right, and I could've accepted her disrespectful and violent behaviour but they chose to paint him as the "villain", someone who mistreats her even though he's been nothing but the victim. The hypocrisy is what gets to me.
Then drop it. Perhaps this drama is not for you , look for sth what you like . Why are y still wasting your time…
Because it's a place to write comments about the drama, and not only the positive ones. Take your own advice and move along if my comment irritates you.
I'm so close to dropping this after episode 7. The way they made Prince Qi the bad guy was pure and unadulterated hypocrisy. His wife disrespected and beat him at every corner and they made it like he was the one mistreating her. If it's supposed to be funny I'm not buying it. I'll continue watching but if they continue with this nonsense I'm dropping π
i'm seeing everyone praising this show except mdl people πΏ.. like twitter, fb, insta, tiktok you name it
It's weird. I think everyone should check it out for themselves because opinions about it are unusually polarized & there are only 6 episodes so it's a quick watch.
I love the fresh perspective this show has. It's a heartwarming testament to a mother's love for her children and for me it peaked around episode 3. The way the queen handled Grand Prince Gye Sung's case was so touching and even though the rest of the show was good nothing touched me as much as that episode. I loved the bond between grand princes and their mother, and the bond that they had with each other. It made me think about how nice it would be to have a big family, lol. All in all, 9.5/10.
It's better than I expected it to be after reading some comments here, lol. Jung Hae In and Go Kyung Pyo were amazing! The story was interesting and fun to watch, I liked the cinematography and the action scenes were really good. It wasn't that gory? The sound effects were more horrible/disgusting than the visual stuff, but it wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be. All in all, I would definitely watch the second season if they ever make it. 9/10
It was better than I expected it to be based on the rating here. The romance is not the main point but I love how it developed naturally and gradually. The part about the corruption in school and education was handled well. It was simple and easy to understand and in the end the justice was served so it was all concluded in a satisfying way. Having said that, something was missing. There were no parts that stood out and wowed me. It's always nice to watch Lee Do Hyun tho!
We're in minority tho. Everyone seems to love it. π
The one thing I did like is the acting. All actors did a really good job.
Also, there are a lot of sexually explicit scenes so if that's something you don't like I wouldn't recommend this.
Other than that, I don't really have any complaints. It's a great movie with satisfying ending, good acting and bittersweet story.
