The whole production is bad, that Flukes' acting skills could not even save it. Though to be fair, I haven't seen a BL drama sequel that is as good or even comes close to being good as the original. They should just left it where it is.

The highest shows I believe in MDL has always been something with BTS....I think that's where a lot of voting goes.

For the ending of this one, I am not expecting less than a traditional wedding ceremony (preferably Chinese style to keep with the theme) with Skyline OST playing in the background. A person can dream :)

I have to say that from all BL drama sequels that I've watched....none of them can could hold a candle to their originals. Trying to make a quick buck, most of these sequels drop quality in favor of profit, thinking that the popularity of the first season will propel into the next. Some are so terrible that not even the actor's "pretty" faces could save a sub-par drama. I would rather the writers, directors, production company, do a new drama that's not milking the same cow.

Oh my god yes! Unless they can at least equal or even surpass the first, then they shouldn't even bother making a sequel. And honestly I cannot even think of a BL drama that has a good second season.

I'm so far, so bored, but will keep watching, hope the show picks up.

In hindsight, I should not have watched this drama first because if these kind of dramas set the bar high, it becomes difficult for me to enjoy other dramas.

Actually I would have said "The Untamed" would be my favorite but then a lot of BL purists would not have considered this as a BL drama for the lack of explicit gestures, but that's a debate for another day. :)

When I watched ITSAY, actually it gave me HCTM feels, Billkin's acting reminds me so much of Ohm's. It's a good drama and is in my Top 10 BL Drama list. With so many BL dramas churning out in the last 5 years, I have to be more selective :)

Exactly!!! For me, 99% of the sequels I've watched of my favorite dramas don't hold a candle to the original dramas. And 80% of these sequels even ruined the original for me that I wish I haven't watched the sequel. After watching the documentary, I realized how meticulous Boss is as a director, Not settling for less than perfection.

So if they are just going to botch the sequel, might as well not have one. Here's to hoping that ITSAY 2 will be the 1% exception.

History 2: Boundary Crossing

I used up all the tissues watching this drama. The best BL ever, that I had to dethrone my favourite that held on to its spot for 3 years! The acting is just phenomenal! The story is amazing! The pacing is just right. If I could give this a rating of 100 I would. I rarely gush about a drama but this is just perfect. I hope they don't ruin it with the sequel. (Because 99% of the time, I am severely disappointed with drama sequels).
