Reset the rating. 20 people voted while it didnt air yet. What a joke, MDL.
It's because people don't look at the cast listing carefully. It has a different cast and air date as the one in 2019, despite being from China, same story, same title. Heck they should now from the poster alone but people don't pay attention and rate this when they are probably meaning to rate the other one.
Who is that one time traveller? Even watched and rated it already
Much like MDL don't allow us to mark a show as "Completed" before it finishes airing, or "Currently Watching" when it hasn't aired, they should do the same for ratings. So people won't be able to rate it when it hasn't yet aired.
This movie was a great watch with rich humor worth replaying over and over. But it would have made the adult versions…
Yeah. They should have kept the main cast playing the adult versions as I couldn't feel the chemistry that was built by the teenage characters expressed the same way.
Wasted my 1 month subscription to Gagaoolala for this. But good thing there are better offerings on the site that got my money's worth. Not worth the hype. Basically the trailer is the shortened, less cringey version of the drama. Some student-made films are better than this.
I think the leads kinda lacked chemistry, due to writing or directing. They had good chemistry off camera. Overall,…
I like River Knows Fish Heart too even it's also not a big budget movie. I think it's more their acting or lack thereof that throws me off, like you could clearly see they are just reciting their lines. It started out better than expected until it rolled downhill.
I agree, seeing them grow old together and the end of the manga is one of the most important parts for me, it…
Totally agree because that they should have added another episode to show the later years even until their death and following the manga because that made the story so bittersweet that it showed love through ages.
the dubbing is so bad it's almost hard to watch :(
I actually wasn't expecting much when the trailer came out, so I lowered my expectations and that's why, when I watched the first three episodes, I thought this isn't as bad (except for a few spots). But when I watched ep 4 to 6. I thought there would be some movement to the plot in an already short series, as how do I expect their feelings to develop if nothing much happened except for a long video montage of their supposed "moments" together that can't really count. For me, it was hard to believe that because of those confrontations, that both of them would suddenly develop affection for each other, especially less believable on Junjie's part. So with 4 episodes left, how can they really show that the feelings between them would be this "forever burning" love that's shown in the trailer?
It probably boils down really to the low budget this series had, as not only the pacing suffered, but almost all the other elements as well.
Side note: Although the lack of funding largely can contribute to the quality of a production, I have seen better executed films/dramas made by independent and even student productions.
The first 3 episodes were promising despite the low budget and some parts felt cringey (especially Jia Ming's ex-gf acting)....didn't know that the next 3 episodes would be even more low budget...looks like they used up the funds to buy them all acting lessons taught by the neighborhood aunt.
Episodes 5 and 6 especially are filled with so much flashbacks of an already short series that you would think we would forget what happened. I am all for flashbacks of key romantic scenes but dude they just literally happened in thw last few minutes / episodes.
This would probably be one of those dramas/movies where the trailer already contains all the major parts of the movie and the rest are just fillers around it .
Paid a subscription to Gagaoolala because of this not realizing it would also be picked up by Viki. Though the episodes on Viki will be released a week later. I'm now in no hurry to watch the rest.
The only part that I liked in these 3 episodes is that Junjie's wearing Doraemon PJs which is so much in contrast to his aloof character at work.
I'm screaming my head off because finally those who keep saying this is not BL (since there was bo skinship) can go suck their **** Such a sweet and heartwarming story. Can't get enough of those two!!!
1 . You're Beautiful
2. Crash Landing on You
3. Coffee Prince
4. Healer
5. Are You Human Too?
6. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?
