When do you think that scene happened in the timeline?
Why do you think he go attacked by Joseon soldiers?
What happened next - dead? Survived? Someone came to save him?

Honestly speaking... I have no idea. Dude looks depressed, exhausted and like he gave up everything. The only reason I could potentially understand his state is - Gil Chae dead or he just thinks she is dead. Why they attacked him? I put my bests on him being accused of treason for leading Crown Prince to the wrong path so to say. Already in episode 9 or 10 the king was questioning how come Crown Prince went from being mistreated by Qing to being treated by them well so I guess they will use Jang Hyun as an excuse to make Crown Prince look better - instead of Crown Prince choosing to work with Qing, he was manipulated into doing it by Jang Hyun. It would also fit the content of the history records from the opening scene.

Do I think he dies there? Not really. Too many soldiers, too many witnesses. No way just some years later (which some of the people on the beach still being alive) they would not know if he is alive or dead. The investigation from the beginning only makes sense if he does not die on the beach. How he survives? No idea. That's a lot of people to kill 🤣 Random thought, but what if Lee Chung Ah's character and her people help him? 🤔

him just being there as a romance 2nd male lead seems off, + he already showed interested in her career beyond just someone who kind of likes her.

If he wanted to, the man needs to agree and they clearly showed he would not. He literally said he gonna find them and kill Jang Hyun. Sadly, yes she can be forced to be his wife. At times like that women had little to no say, not to mention her noble status was a joke by then - no one had true respect to her for her nobility. Notice how even workers and Gisaengs were disrespectful even tho by the law Gil Chae is a noble lady. She was REALLY in a shitty situation.

Initially I was on Yeon Jun's train more, as he fitted the description quite well. Now after episode 10, it seems more probable to be Ryang Eum. Him and Jang Hyun separated, god knows what's his plan. Maybe he will stick with Crown Prince simply to be closer to Jang Hyun and keep an eye on him? That's why he could be described as Crown Prince's loyal subject? What if they kept him there safe exactly because they were hoping Jang Hyun would try to reach him and they could catch him this way?
At first people were hesitant to think it's Ryang Eum, because they could not see how Jang Hyun would let him be basically imprisoned for so long without trying to save him, but after episode 10 I guess we see how he could in fact do it 😅

Side note, the Head Inspector from the opening scene is quite nice to look at 🤣 He looks real good in them close ups.

Pretty sure Jang Hyun has to go back to Qing with Crown Prince. Crown Prince was only allowed to visit the king, no come back to Joseon for good. And I highly doubt by now, being this involved with Crown Prince and even Qing generals, Jong Hyun would have any say in whenever he can stay or has to go back.

He needs her to have a match for the title with Lee Kwon Sook because it would create a lot of attention, which means more people might bet on it, which means more profit for him and the shady guy. Since they were supposed to have a match for the title the day Lee Kwon Sook's vanished from the boxing industry.

You said you gonna skip it if Gil Chae is back in pt2. It's confirmed by literally lead actor that in fact pt2 is still about Jang Hyun and Gil Chae, hence they told you to just drop it, since you said you would not watch if Gil Chae is back 👍🏻

I am not extremely invested in Eun Ae as an individual character, but i love her interactions with others that's why i pay some more attention to her.

I also love analyzing Yeon Jun coz i find that character so pitiful i just want him yo grown into... Something.

Jang Hyun is actually not that easy to truly figure out coz we know almost nothing about his background 😅

Oh i loved her in first 2 episodes too. For me it's a combination of her strength and care for others. Coz Eun Ae is also caring, but it does not hot me that hard. Jang Hyun is mentally strong, but it also does not hit me that hard. The fact Gil Chae uses her strength to care for people is what i love about her.

Honestly, feeds and comment section disagreeing (looking at the most vocal option i guess) is a reoccurring thing:

During Bloody Heart feeds was pro Gye Won and CS pro Lee Tae.
Start-Up feeds pro Ji Pyeong, CS pro Do San 🤣
