not necessarily, some dramas are more or less one character type of a deal, and everyone there is as a support and background. BUT if technically speaking there are many main characters, but only one gets proper writing and depth... that's the issue.

In her case it's not just about being guilt in the name of law. She is a politician, it's important to not attract negative press. Even if the actress could not prove shit legally, just the accusation would be unnecessary issue for her. I just fail to see why a smart politician would allow themselves to act this way when they are trying to win social approval. It's not about whenever should could do it and keep it under covers, it's about it being completely unnecessary risk she should not even take in the first place. That scene was simply ridiculous.

It's a stupid and unnecessary risk for a politician. She is obviously not fully secured in her power since she wants to use gaetal for her advantage, which means she would also have powerful political rivals watching her every move. This is the type of scene that ignores logic and hopes viewers won't ask any questions...

That private shop is in public area. For a smart politician committing crime at your workplace that might have reporters around (expensively luxury shop own by politician with celebrities going in and out? Someone would be watching just in case something worth writing about happens) is fucking dumb 🤣

So Lee Min Soo probably either works for Gaetal officially, or supports him unofficially, but since he is a psycho who kills himself, Gaetal will pick him as one of the people on trial. And that's also what will screw up his mother - who wanted to use Gaetal for her political career, but gets her son killed instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah yes... realism. Slashing actress' face in a public shop as if this some survival killing game. And she got out of that shop not being noticed by anyone how exactly? Coz high profile shop has paparazzi around 24/7 just in case 🤡 And it's not even that cover up for it would be impossible for a high profile politician, rather no high profile politician would do dumb shit like that, when they can do the same in a discrete manner not risking so much and putting less effort lol

My eyes hurt from rolling while watching 🤣 like, objectively it's not an 8.5 but i had so much fun, 8.5 felt right 😅 a bit like Why R U was maybe 6 on a good day, but 9.5 in my little brain and heart 🤡

never said my interpretation is perfect and i discussed with many people who have different taken on characters and scenes and i was fine with with. because when they were talking to me, they were basing their opinion on what they saw in the drama itself. while there are some people who only used how it was in original work to validate their viewpoint and never actually talked about how the characters are in this drama. it's like saying a blue umbrella is green when you are wearing yellow glasses. that's the only type of "interpretation" i have issue with. when it's based more on the original work the drama was inspired by, and not the drama itself, ignoring all the differences in both productions.

If someone's interpretation is based on original work and not the actual drama they are watching, then yes, one can say they misinterpreted it. There is difference between having different interpretations based on ones view of the drama, and someone using original work a drama was inspired by as the reasoning for their interpretation

I think my issues are not even the comments about gwtw, but how I sometimes feel like people misrepresent and misunderstand the characters, because they view them from the gwtw perspective. Like... when people describe to me how FL in gwtw is, I'm so confused where the big comparisons even come from, because the description completely does not match who Gil Chae is. Sure, on the surface level first episode of the drama maybe, but that's it. So when people analyze the show not from the perspective of how characters behave in the show, but how the characters were and behaved in gwtw, that's my issue...

I dropped Moving. Personally i did not like the format, it feeling like a short movies is not my favorite type of storytelling 😅

My Dearest in Jang Hyun, we are Gil Chae and all the other dramas are Yeon Jun - we are trying to convince ourself that we like them, but our heart is somewhere else.

I was misled with the subs. Coz to get someone, means to capture
To get someone out means to rescue them. And since they translated it to get him, I thought he is not waiting to be saved, but hiding from Jang Hyun.

But the actual korean word is closer to rescuing/picking someone up from somewhere I guess...

They said one of the officers became insane, women could not be officers, so that solves the issue I guess.

Now that I rewatched, they use "데리러 온다" to describe the whole "Jang Hyun will get him", but as far as I know it does not have the same ring to it in Korean, 데리러 온다 is more like pick up, while to get someone (if we don't add out) has a negative feelings to is.


So maybe it is Rang Eum... 😅

gwtw does not matter tbh. There is literally no one else to kill for it to make an impact. It's either the closest person to Jang Hyun (Rang Eum) or Gil Chae (Eun Ae).

I still bet on Yeon Jun. What I think will happen - Yeon Jun got disappointed with the King, so he will switch his loyalty towards Crown Prince. The man person called themselves loyal subject of the Crown Prince after all, and I don't think Ryang Eum would. something bad happened because of Yeon Jun's blind loyalty towards the royal family (maybe someone dies - Ryang Eum, Eun Ae or even Gil Chae), hence Yeon Jun fears Jang Hyun will come get him for revenge, the same way he went after the enemies who killed the old couple.

While ML might be dead, I don't think he is. If it was confirmed he died, there would be no reason to investigate his whereabouts.

If I had to guess, we will get a happy for romance, but overall bittersweet ending. Gil Chae and Jang Hyun will end up living a happy and peaceful life in some remote small village or something like that, but under different names. Jang Hyun historically speaking will be removed from records, but these who remember the past will claim he was the traitor and the reason Crown Prince got all fucked up.

oh I am completely unable to comment on the editing, I was so high on everything that happened in the episode I was not really focusing on the editing. Will pay more attention during the rewatch. But I'm also no getting into discussion about the editing aspects of the criticisms 😅
