Title Recipe for Farewell Spoiler
I'm watching episode 11 and honestly... Yeo Jin pisses me off 😅
She was the one to suggest taking a break and getting back together when they are "done with things that bother them"... to put his mother dying as something that bothers him was just so low I cannot. But then they framed it as if he did something wrong, he broke up with her and he had to go look for her and apologized and she went: why it took you so long? Girl... you need to grow up a bit.

I watched up to 21 eps and mid-way in 22nd ep. At this point I feel that the plot is really becoming boring. I…
exactly the same thought exactly at the same episodes. Finished 21 and not really feel that motivated to start 22...
And I LOVED the first... 15 episodes? And then it all slowed down...

Review Hi Bye, Mama!
great detailed review!
I agree that the friendship between the female characters was amazing!

Review Hi Bye, Mama!
Lee Kyu Hyung can do any role justice. I loved him here, so much emotions in his performance!

Review Hi Bye, Mama!
I agree about the ghost, they were simply forgotten. I think one of the reasons was the fact there were simply too many to tell the story of them all. The writer should have cut down the numbers.

Great review tho! Lee Kyu Hyung truly aces all his roles!

Review Hi Bye, Mama! Spoiler
to be honest, Kyu Hyung only interacted on screen in any meaningful way with Tae Hee. I am fairly sure the script is at fault here. We simply got close to zero scenes of him and Go Bo Gyeol acting as married couple. And the few scenes they shared focused more on them being parents, not partners.

As a solo performance, I actually liked him the most, and was quite disappointed with Kim Tae Hee. While she aced some scenes, overall the performance fluctuated the most throughout the show.

I do agree that it got messy closer to the end. The introduction of the new exorcist was useless (as the same plot could have been told with the existing characters), the number of ghost and their stories with all of them being barely explored or totally forgotten. They just tried to add to much into a show, that simply did not need it...

great review 👍🏻

Why it's a guy who needs to assure her, and not another way around? While introducing themselves Seulgi clearly…
If it was not his choice than it should not be even matter of conversation. it's not like he could say no. he also said he would rather stay in Inferno. He talked with other girls because they asked him to talk with them, the same way Seulgi kept talking with Jungwoo because he went to her to talk with her. Neither Seulgi nor Jinyoung tried to talk to each other. The issue is on both sides. They both complain how they can't talk to each other while also BOTH doing nothing to make it happen.

For episode 6: He said it to other girls the same way Youngjae told Soi he wants to talk to other girls - coz they don't want to seem rude rejecting everyone. He said that, but he barely finished the sentence and went straight up to talk to Seulgi. He literally ditched all the girls, half of them he never really talked to, and went straight to Seulgi. During that conversation he also said Jungwoo is a good competitor... What could that possibly mean if not that both of them compete against each other for Seulgi. He also told her twice during just that short conversation that he had a great time with her in Paradise.

When they actually talk, it goes great. They assure each other both. But also both of them refuses to actually take the first step and both would rather play push and pull.

Woah ep 8 was 🔥 seulki really likes jinyoung but can't approach him actively coz all the other girls are chasing…
Why it's a guy who needs to assure her, and not another way around? While introducing themselves Seulgi clearly stated she is a straightforward and honest about her emotions type of a person, why Jinyoung said he is more reserved. By what they said, she should reassure him instead of talking how much of a heaven Inferno was with Jungwoo.

None of them is as bad as people claim they are. From how I see it they both actually enjoy the push and pull - if they did not, they would have said conversation, instead of hanging out with other people and making each other jealous. The same way he did not go to talk to her, she did not go to talk to him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's a two way street and they keep missing each other.

Seulgi and Jinyoung treat each other the same way. They both are not straightforward about each other feelings,…
Let me rephrase then: Does Seulgi remind you of a player too?

likes the other a little bit more < sure. This is not a case of a little bit, but a lot. Throughout the show it was Jungwoo following Seulgi and doing everything for her, while I don't think she took one proactive stand herself. There is a difference.

The "a bit more" simply does not apply in their situation coz it's more than just a bit.

Personal opinion: Seulki would be better off with someone like Jongwoo who genuinely cares about her, and he seems…
Seulgi and Jinyoung treat each other the same way. They both are not straightforward about each other feelings, they both want the other one to take the first step, both make each other jealous hanging out with others, even tho both want to truly hang out with each other. How is he a player? Then is Seulgi also a player? Because I don't see much difference in their behavior in terms of showing interest on other people. For me they simply both like the push and pull game that is going on, but this natural thing is too slow in the context of the show, since they are forced to make ultimate decision fast.

The idea that the guy has to do everything for the girl is not right. Seulgi and Jinwoo are not partners, and in a healthy relationship, partnership is important. But it's all just Jungwoo doing everything for Seulgi no matter what. How is that better and healthy? For whom? Maybe for Seulgi, for sure not for Jungwoo...

Title The New Employee Spoiler
I'm in love with this BL!!! OMG The kiss scene! And he lifting his foot! Wasn't this in the webtoon?! I was amazed…
The boss dated other men in the past and Seung Hyun new he was gay since god knows how long since he joined the Rainbow Ricecake club and had a crush on Yoo Seong for years - love it.

But then this is exactly the story and project one would assume an openly gay director who is also a LGBTQ rights activist would take. This whole show just makes me so happy.

Title The New Employee Spoiler
This show makes me so happy, coz it's just so normal 😭
They are slightly changing things from the webtoon, but I actually like the changes.
The kiss on the cheek was meh, I rather they did a small peck on the lips, but I was not that bothered.
But the karaoke scene I liked more here in terms of Seung Hyun and Jong Chan's interaction.
Tho I wish Jong Chan went a bit more strict against the other employees, coz in this version Seung Hyun got bullied and humiliated but no one knows about it, while in webtoon Jong Chan was aware of it

One thing i dont get is that why everyone is throwing hate on the girls but not the guys? (not that i want anyone…
Literally there are no nice comments about Dongwoo. Most people stopped criticizing thim tho because he literally did nothing last 2 episodes. He just exists... there is nothing to comment on. A lot of people criticized Youngjae tho, and also a lot of people had negative things to say about him being vague and avoiding Soi.

I'm more surprised about the lack of comments about Jinyoung. His and Seulgi's situation is quite similar, yet only one get "analyzed" by fans. Both had 3 people showing interest in them, both like each other the most, both clearly rejected one person, while also keeping the 2nd one close enough without the same level of straightforward rejection.

That was absolutely an intense match with the guys. It was too much honestly. I cannot believe they allowed such…
Se Jun was the only winner in my eyes in that wrestling. < I know right. The only cool guy in that situation. For me giving up a dumb game that literally makes you bleed just shows he has his priorities straight lol

but what is sooo special about her that you hate every other girl on the show < here's the thing. I honestly don;t…
Just like up above, I hadn't seen any hate on Minsu on here, but someone is asking about that. < and this is also something I disagree with. It's exaggerating minor thing to see as a huge deal.

This^ I honestly think he made a wrong choice to be on this show. He seems to want a stable relationship and it's obviously not something Nadine 1. wants right now 2. can have at this moment of her life.

Then people should go complain about haters on ig and twitter. Why bring that negativity here?

Why is there so much hate for Minsu? She just arrived on the island a day before and if she enjoyed her date with…
I don't think the situations are the same tho. Seo eun knew for a fact Soi is not a threat to her. Literally everyone knows Youngjae likes Seo Eun and is not interested in Soi.

While with Jinyoung none of the girls truly know how he feels and who he likes. We know, coz we saw him interact with other girls, but they don't see the dates, so they cannot compare it. So Minsu was a true competition in Nadine's eyes, while Soi was not in Seo Eun's eyes.

I an honestly just laughing at Nadine's attempts now. I like her a lot, but damn it's too late for her to do anything 😅

but what is sooo special about her that you hate every other girl on the show < here's the thing. I honestly don;t…
i saw maybe one person saying that here on mdl in the comment section. she has far more people defending her and liking her than writing comments like that. It's not like the comment section here is full of hate towards her. It's not. It might be on other social media, but then people should complain in said social media about it, not here.

For both sides, I see more people complaining about the haters than the haters themselves ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's not a unique thing for this comment section, it happens in most comment sections on mdl. People complain about haters between leads, while the actually haters are barely to be found etc.
