https://kisskh.at/discussions/suggestions < this is the best way of communication so far in terms of changes we want to see be made.
There is an issue with how review section works on mdl, and I hope it will be somehow fixed with new website update, but how about not targeting all reviewers just coz the system itself is broken? Instead of writing comments here, how about going to suggestion forum and voting for threads that suggest positive changes in review section so the admins will see there is an issue and that people care for it to be fixed?
Also, I actually did make that comment when my review was 2nd from the top so check your facts before replying ππ»
Being disappointed in a show does not make one hater. I do not go around arguing with people who like it, I don;t downvote positive reviews, I don;t comment negative things under positive reviews. All I did was write my own review and call out people who without any proof go full conspiracy theory that every negative review is a fake one from haters.
There were many suggestions on how to deal with fake reviews. Like not allowing new accounts to post any for a week. Most people who just wanted to shit on shows would not bother to log back to a new account after a week. Even if it would not remove the issue completely, it would for sure minimalize it.
The Untamed < objectively production wise really bad, solid character writing
Three-Body < actually liked it better than the novel
Meet Yourself and To the Wonder < both slow pace slice of life with good messages
These are my top rated cdramas (10/10)
but other titles I liked a lot (9.5 and 9): The Kingβs Avatar, When a Snail Falls in Love, Listening Snow Tower, Hikaru no Go, The Spirealm.
As for the reviews, I am sure there are low rated reviews that are fake, from accounts that were created just to write these fake reviews. And I have been vocal on forum about the issue review section has for years now. But that does not mean all negative reviews are fake. But that's how you are presenting it.
You canβt claim DEPTH and NOVEL relevance < I didn't.
when most dramas literally have the same exact tropes with very clear visual flaws < using tropes and using tropes well are two different things. But putting that aside, did you check every dramalist of everyone who wrote negative review? I highly doubt. So from where does this confidence in your statements come from?
If a drama is just highly entertaining for me and that's it, I usually rate it high coz I had fun, but I shit on it and call out the flaws in the review. So yeah, I do note stuff like that with my "favs" too.
If all the show has to offer is entertainment, then it's obvious you'll get variety of the ratings, because what people find entertaining is completely subjective. My issue if not with you or anyone else enjoying the show and saying how much you love it. As far as I know this drama could be top rated no 1 drama on mdl and I would not care. My issue is discrediting ALL reviews you disagree with, simply because they have different opinion than you. And putting them all in one basket as if everyone and their mother have some shady agenda against this fictional story.
Explain exactly how is writing a review for a drama you watched sabotaging it? Big claims need solid proof.
It's like saying everyone who likes it was paid by production team. See how silly it sounds?
Sometimes dramas are just mid or disappointing.
Na Ae Jun is trying SO FUCKING HARD to be respectful while also fanboying inside π
Choi Si Yeol is π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ so I cannot blame him at all π
Also, this is how you use misunderstanding as a plot device in the right way! omg thank you.
anyway, it;s cute as fuck. I like it.
1. She would have exactly zero say whenever she would date him/marry him even if he already married someone (not quite since Mok Ju is concubine not queen) - he is a king and if he wants to date her/marry her, he would. Or she would die. And when you have to pick "death or dating married man" you gonna date the dude.
2. The relationship between Mok Ju and Kind is... questionable at best. From the start we know she is the antagonist and cheats on the King (or technically cheats on her lover with the king, since she formed the relationship before even meeting the king). The whole relationship is faked and staged. So it;s hard to talk about him cheating as immoral.
I am positively surprised.
First of all, I love how Yeon Ji Yeong still fucks up all the time and struggles to act properly. Like if I time travelled back in time, even if I started to believe it, I would still have no idea how to actually act. What words to use, since I don't know when words were introduced to modern language. If I would get angry and frustrated, I might still snap, because it's just not natural to me to just take it all no matter what coz I might die as a punishment π So yeah, I actually really like FL here.
Then we have the king and I LOVE how he kind of gives the baby king with attitude vibes, but he does not seem just like a silly clown, I do feel like he can in fact start killing and punishing people. No matter how silly leads interactions might get, you can feel that he is still a threat and has complete power over her and her life. So that's good.
I love Kang Han Na, and watching her play the antagonist is just π₯Feels like watching Yoo Jeong (Bloody Heart) in her villain era π
Anyway, I laughed a lot watching episode two.
Also, baby king is still hot π₯
