Well, first episode was rather basic, but good.

One thing that often bothers me about these time travel dramas is how fast the person who time travels accepts and figures out they actually went back in time. Like, that's not something one would go to. Most people would probably assume they went crazy or are in coma or something. So I'm liking how Ji Yeong is truly fucking up every second of her existence because she acts as if she was in 2025 🤡

What's more? The King is hot 🔥🙂🔥

I am far less "mad" about main couple scene. All the Enigma pheromones being strong, the hotel room can technically be almost pitch black with proper curtains, and Hua Yong only spoke like 2 words before the pheromones hit strong and Sheng Shao You lost it.

But the second couple? There is NO excuse for Shen Wen Lang not to know whom he fucked. I love how canon it is that he has zero working brain cells 🤣🤣🤣

I don't care. Obviously we can do some mental gymnastic but realistically, it made no sense 🤣

Okay so, I knew from the start the consent ain't thing. Like I'm not "mad" about it - that's how the plot rolls, we knew. The consent thing is all bullshit in that universe when they are literally losing their marbles coz of the pheromones - they are all basically high and drugged. Zero consent was giving from either of the 4 people I cannot 🙂

What was WILD was the fucking sensual, slow romance editing and background music I fucking cannot 🤣🤣🤣 The scene that literally broke me to the point I had to pause the episode coz I could not see shit from the tears I had in my eyes from laughing so bad was the fucking close up of Gao Tu's face with the one tear rolling down his cheek ACCOMPANIED BY THE FUCKING ROMANCE VIBE AND EDITING. WHAT A FUCKING BIZARRE EXPERIENCE 🤡💀

Also, you know what? The fucking omegaverse concept is more fucking realistic than Sheng Shao You not knowing who fucked him and Shen Wen Lang not knowing whom he fucked 🙂 THESE ROOMS WERE NOT THAT DARK. They literally kissed on the lips, they saw them faces. HUA YONG LITERALLY TALKED TO Shao You before Shao You went completely out coz of them pheromones 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

yet in present, that struggle barely showed. < this. And it;s not just about her. The whole "women had it bad" did not translate on screen at all. They described it as awful hardships, but they never showed any of that.

Funniest thing, I actually liked how bubbly she was at time. The issue was - she was bubbly fun and witty 90% of time, and serious smart general 10% 🤡

The drama also wanted to scream women's empowerment, but like everything else, it just tells and does not show for it to actually make an impact. < and this is what happens when you write comment as you read the review, instead first reading the whole review lol Not me saying the same thing above 🙂
