the tangerines were my fav part before I dropped. All the scenes that involved the tangerines were gold lol

the thing about "fancy vocabulary" is that it might "look professional" but it's not practical on a community made out of users with different degree of English skills, since not everyone is from English speaking country. If non native speakers have a problem with understanding a review coz of the choices of words in it, it's not that good. Sometimes keeping it simple is better, since it will be useful for more people :)

I said the fandom is overbearing, not necessarily that their comment is, tho they is part of the thing that bothered me in the first place. My comment was reply to their "Do you guys give Japanese dramas no chance because Korea over everything, or did you not find out yet?" part of the comment. Why I am reluctant to watch AiB. That I have other reasons to hesitate than "I only watch Korean show, and don't want to give Japanese ones chance".

Quote me, where did I say SH is better? Not once did I mention or compared AiB to SH. I stated why I am on the fence with starting AiB, completely separated to SH. Would appreciate if you stop adding some hidden meaning to my initial comment. I DID NOT defend SH. I never claimed it is better than AiB, since I have NOT seen AiB. Where do you get that from?

Your comment is exactly the reason I'm losing interest in the series. I never asked to be explain by you or anyone else how mdl rating are biased, or reason with me how AiB is better. My comment does not talk about rating NOR comparison to Sweet Home at all.

MinM is literally doing HUDE disservice to AiB by writing a comparison comment between AiB and SH on SH page. It is overbearing how, instead of writing on AiB page how amazing the show it, they went out of their ways to write a comment saying how it's better than SH on SH page. I don't see fans of SH doing the same on AiB page.

Some of my friends got into a nasty discussions about AiB, simply coz their expressed their criticism over some aspects of the show.

That said I did make a mistake with my initial comment, I should have said "part of the fandom" and not fandom as a whole. That was unfair generalization on my part.

Alice in Borderland is on my ptw but with how amazing overbearing the fandom is, I'm starting to lose interest. + I heard there are a few nudity scenes that are just random and don't bring anything to the show/plot/character developments at all, and it's one of my pet peeves.

edit: Sorry for the generalization of the whole fandom. It's just few individuals whose actions irk me a lot. Also, it's not a fact they are overbearing, but rather I view them as overbearing: it's an opinion, not a fact.

And yeah... the giving up his spot in uni was one of the most selfish decision ever. It was motivated by his guilt and how to make himself feel better. And in the process he hurt so many people. Like damn, the are teenagers but in their LATE teens. They are not children. If he makes bad decision like that, maybe he truly should not go to university, coz he is clearly not mature enough for it.

I was just really disappointed with some things in episode 12.

I still liked episode 11 and the "break up scene" but damn the reasoning and explanation for it given in episode 12 is just laughable and unrealistic. And it didn't even need much changes to make it "pass-able" for me. If they just make Kurosawa say he was scared and confused at the moment, but LATER when he thought about it, the mind reading was the reason they ended up together, I would still roll my eyes, but I could accept it. But at the moment of breaking up, there is no way he would make that connection.

And yes, Adachi being so cool about losing V card when he is still shy about any and all skin ship was just... a bit much.

visual wise it's quite similar. 1st 20 minutes of episode one truly feel like it's happening in the same universe as Strangers from Hell.
It's more action driven tho, compared to slower paced SFH.
