this is definitely one of the advantages of writing reviews, since you can always go back and read them to find out what you liked/disliked about the show. I have so many dramas highly rated, but I truly remember close to nothing from them. If I had written reviews from them, it would be much easier :)

Hope you will be able to write some reviews this year :) Don't try to compare yours to others, coz we all have different views and ways of expressing them. They are all charming in their unique way.

A lot of people gave "I'm too lazy" as a reason for not writing reviews... but like... there is no way I am able to fix it for anyone hahha

It's not like everyone has to write reviews. If for someone just sharing their experience on feeds is enough - awesome. But I know people who would love to write reviews, but some things just block them. And that's kind of sad, coz most of the things are issues that can be fix or dealt with :(

Funny thing about articles, my 1st one was extremely random an written out of frustration, coz I felt like I was the only one seeing the tragedy behind Extraordinary You ending, while everyone was just excided it was a "happy ending" hahaha before that I never planned to write any. While reviews I write for everything and I am really "organized" about it, articles are wild cards for me. I just write when a random idea comes to my mind hahaha

It took me years to start writing reviews on mdl. At first I thought: it's not like I'm professional writer, what could I possible say about any show or a movie and why would anyone care. But at some point I decided to just share mu opinions, observations and experiences and it worked out quite well.
As for reviews for overlooked or unpopular dramas, chances are no one will read them. Happened to me more than once, especially with review for some horror movies. If there is not much audience, there aren't many people to read the review...

I am sure there are many, but I myself never looked for them. I'm happy with just writing reviews on mdl.

The best way is to not compare what you write to others, as you said, everyone has their own opinions and the way they are expressing them.
And honestly, writing review without spoilers etc. is pretty hard, coz you need to explain your opinion but without giving any details that will support it hahaha

even native speakers are afraid of grammar mistakes hahahaha I think it's an universal thing :D

from my own experience, I was bullied and beat up in school for smiling too much and being too happy. It was bad enough I had to change school and was afraid to walk around my neighborhood alone. Maybe because of my own experience in the past, I did not question the bullying, reasoning behind it and the "easy" explanation, coz it was similar to what I went through in the past when I was younger. It's sad, but ridiculous things like that do happen, even if they might look like a soap opera from the outside.

basically it was a nice day and Hyun Soo ruined it for the guy, by offering him help coz "who he was to offer him help" as in they were not in the same class/social level. The bully took it as some low life taking pity on him and it pissed him off.

"That scene where all 3 as kids are standing in the middle of cross roads and the music 'somewhere' being played was giving me goosebumps." < it gives me goosebumps even reading about it and remembering it. as I'm rewatching it right now, I love it even more than 1st watch and all the previous rewatches lol

damn, we have completely different view on the characters hahaha I actually loved Yoo Jung and related to him a lot, but I could not care less for In Ho and his victim mentality, since there was nothing fresh about him that I have not previously seen in other SL in dramas. Tho most people would disagree with my opinion. I also got so annoyed with 2nd part and how they focused on In Ho, coz I believe this is the reason so many people dislike (or even hate) Yoo Jung: the writers literally presented none of the depth the character has, that was shown in the webtoon.

That said, the best part of the show was how relatable was the presentation of university life.

oh, I honestly enjoy reading reviews of the shows I have already seen. I literally never read them before watching a drama tho. I like to compare my experience and thoughts :)

It was honestly nicely done show, with some TRULY touching moments (like damn her remembering the kid after she went back in time makes me want to cry even now). But then I think how they tried to make something similar with Familiar Wife and how much it didn't work out.

Brought up very delicate topics in a workplace without unnecessarily lecturing or patronizing the viewer. < this is exactly why I loved the show. I hate when dramas introduce important topics, but instead letting viewers make their own judgement, they are lecturing them in a patronizing way.

At first I had a hard time getting into the show coz I found it laughable that Jo Kang Ja could even pretend to be a student, but after I got to know the characters more, it started to irk me less and less. Go Bok Do tho, damn you are right. This boi was truly adorable potato. I loved his scenes.

damn, this is beautifully written review. Truly expresses the happy, nostalgic feeling the drama itself gave me.
