Me toooooooo! I drop easily now and sometimes go back to the dropped list and give second chances!
I started using the "note" option lately. It helps later on. If I dropped the drama coz I was not in the mood, I write that in the note so when I check my dropped list, I know which ones might be worth giving the 2nd chance :)

i drop whenever i want to lol, like ppl be saying "i wanna know de ending", but it's legit just the ML and FL…
spill the tea. This is so true. For me, if I find the drama boring or not my type, I am not curious how it ends AT ALL. Maybe that's why I have no problems dropping them...

I’m the same! Although there are some (rare) dramas that I keep watching, there’s a lot that I drop... in…
3rd attempt? wow. I'm willing to give dramas 2nd chance, and 2nd chance only. no 3rd tries hahaha
that said, I liked Watched too :D

I am the same, once upon a time I couldn't drop a drama, now, I've become a drop drama person. Only a few can…
you started to respect your time more haha also, you have higher standards now, that would be my guess since this is what happened with me :) hahaha

I used to give dramas a 6 episode chance (or 1/4th of series), but these days I'm getting better at predicting…
glamorous drop list that I'm pretending I'll get back to watching one day < relatable. Had that problem. And then one day I just moved it all to dropped and stopped using on hold for "on hold" dramas at all lol

It has been nice reading through the comments and seeing that I'm not the only one who will drop a drama immediately.…
yeah, the "spoiler" is true. They rarely ever improve.
If a drama is 16 episodes long, but I need to watch 6 episodes for it to get better... I see no logic in it. 6 episodes it's over 1/3 of the show.

I usually never drop dramas, I tend to stick what I started. Those dramas on my dropped list are either the ones…
and how are you with picking what drama to start? do you take your time and only start dramas you think you will enjoy?
I think I drop so many dramas, coz I like to try a lot of different genres and shows, and I'm not really strict when picking :)

You did well by dropping The Third Charm. I regret wasting my time on it.
yeah... I did not feel it at all. Dropped on the first episode hahaha

Great article and so very relatable to most long-time Drama addicts I.m sure. For me,once I started dropping,…
oh noo hahaha I loved Hospital Playlist, easy 10/10 for me hahaha But hey, we all like different things, good you did not force yourself to watch it.
and yes, the key is to get rid of the shame. I felt bad at first for the actors etc. but at some point I accepted that it;s their job not a hobby, and I am consumer of their product (the drama). The same way I would not eat a poorly done dish in a restaurant, the same way I won't force myself to watch a drama I don't like

Truely there are very few dramas worth our precious time and dropping the others from our never ending 'Plan to…
I have seen all but Reply 1988 (I have bad memory after 94... I really didn;t like it) and Girls Generation 1979. As for the rest I liked them A LOT :)
I like starting shows that do not sound like my cup of tea coz there were a few times, when they became some of my favorites :)

Serial dropper here! There's not enough hour in a day and countless others Asian dramas to see, to waste my time…

I love this! It's so true. I think i'm on stage two, where I don't drop but abuse the skip button (looking at…
I'm complete opposite to you. I pick up any show without checking (sometimes I know nothing about the show except that there is one actor or actress I like lol) but then I drop quickly if it turns out to be not my type hahaha
We all like Boys Over Flowers for the nostalgia, but it ain;t a good show hahaha

I used to drop and hold on more then my current and complete list . But since middle of 2019 I start to thing…
oh I used to put a lot of shows on my on hold, but then I rarely ever came back to finish them. So one day I have put everything from my on hold to drop, and now I use on hold for shows that finished airing that I am currently watching. This system works for me well :D

Do I drop dramas? Of course I do! I've dropped on an opening scene! Lol however since I’ve lost my interest…
I like some good one hate watch (TT being the best example, damn I hated the show, but ranting about it was so much fun). and Boys Over Flowers... oof. I had it as 10/10 for years, to change it to I think 5 few months ago lol

I actually have a "On Hold" disease, 75% of my watch list is on Hold and always half way throught or few episode…
maybe try picking random on hold ones. Use google's random number generator haha it makes it fun and more exciting when you are not the one picking the drama :)

oh yes, I myself enjoy watching currently airing dramas more than the completed ones. I like the 2 episodes per week. + it's easier to find people to talk to about it.

I think i've been lucky enough to have either vibed with shows on the first episode or not at all. If it clicked…
I guess I just drop a lot of dramas, and some not coz they are not my type or are bad, but because I am not in the mood for them. That's why I decided to give them 2nd chance now hahaha it;s a fun small project for me :)

oh yeah Chinese dramas are quite long and at time there are so many not interesting side plots, I feel you on wanting to skip some stuff :)
