There’s a lot of dramas people liked that I dropped simply cuz I wasn’t feeling it, Like born again. I should…
oh I heard so much bad stuff about Born Again. Glad I dropped it after first episode haha

I have dropped a few series, but a few of the ones you did drop or would've dropped I liked. I loved Abyss even…
I mean... Abyss was such a ridiculous show, and it was incorrect about so many science related stuff I laughed even during the serious scenes hahaha I had fun watching it, even tho I don't think it;s a good drama.
and, I actually really liked Black (except from ending lol). The drak humor was exactly my type :)

I dropped reading this after some paragraphs cos it's so long! Lol. I have been dropping many dramas recently,…
it;s not even that long hahaha

Most of the "love triangles" are not really love triangles but 2 people liking each other and 3rd being in unrequited love. For me, love triangle is when I truly don't know where the romance is going, and the FL has at least tiny bit of an interest in both dudes....
as for PPL... it's getting worse every year. I am so done with subway. legit don;t want to ever eat there just coz I have seen too much of it in dramas.

I don't technically drop shows, I just end up binge watching the first 12 or so episodes of a show within a day…
oh... if I have like 4 episodes left of the show, I will just force myself to watch it asap to get it to completed, even if I'm not in a mood. But then, I get "in the mood" pretty quickly so it's just the initial push to start watching that is important to me hahaha
But do you get to finish at least some of these show?

great article~the drama that made me realize dropping is better than suffering was The Heirs, before it I never…
there is so many awesome dramas, so why waste time on the ones we don't enjoy.

"I love this part so I'll bear through it" reminds me of me watching Love with Flaws, when I literally skipped EVERYTHING except from scenes from side couple lol At the end I put it in dropped, since I didn't reaaally watch the whole show.

Nice article!
I actually picked Abyss and My Strange Hero after dropping and I finished them both. While I don;t think they were that good, the watching time was entertaining hahah

Loved your article and your writing style!I've also experienced stage 1 of "Enthusiastic Baby" for the first few…
thank you, I tried to keep it light hahaha

I have mild ocd too, but somehow it's not translating into watching dramas, that's why I can drop anything anytime. Some even twice hahaha

But, since you put more "work" into picking dramas, it's not that bad. I give a chance to anything, so dropping is a must.

My motto: Why waste time on a drama you aren't liking when your time should be spent on a drama you might like/love?I…
yeah, that's how I di it now too: not enjoying myself anymore: drop. As you said, I can always pick it up again if I want to :)
and thank you so much <3

Nirvana in Fire hahaha omg. I dropped it 20 episodes in. Gonna start group watching it again in August tho, as part my 2nd chance project. So I understand the struggle.

Hahahaha as a serial dropper, I had fun reading your article! As of now, I have 48 officially dropped + 59 on-hold…
Well, I have 92 officially dropped. So close to 100 hahaha I don;t do "on-hold" at all, since I use it for finished dramas I am watching at the moment. So for me it;s either: I watch it or I drop it.
But damn, your 59 on hold is A LOT. I would not remember what was happening in good half of the show if I had so many.
About that 12-13 ep. Pretty sure a lot of people have this problem. It's usually when the plot was kind of done with and the writers drop some last minute drama plot twist to get to that 16 episode ...

I went from "every drama is a gem" to "I drop a lot" too ^^ I think I drop many dramas because I try a lot. Every…
I think I drop many dramas because I try a lot. < same. I try almost all currently airing kdramas... big majority for sure.
No big deal, it's supposed to a hobby, not a chore ^^ < this one too! great mindset haha I had this thing when I truly felt like I have to finish all the dramas I start watching and it was exhausting.

Currently in the "Rational Brain" stage. LOLI used to feel like I was gonna miss out some details in a drama if…
Oh I had a similar drama that was recommended by a lot of people. I did drop it by the end, but I have seen 20 episodes of it before giving up. I'm gonna give it a 2nd chance soon tho :)
Dropping a drama is such a freeing feeling tho. You are making space and time for something you might truly enjoy :D

I went through the same thing! But now, I follow my golden rule of three: - Did I have an overwhelming urge to…
the rule of threes hahaha the thing is, I feel like skipping even in dramas I adore. If there is this one side side plot I could no care less about.
We all have our own ways of deciding which dramas to start watching and then which of them to eventually drop. As long as we all happy at the end, it's all good.
have to say, it's interesting to see how different people decide if and when to drop a drama.

I hear you and I agree with everything you wrote. I drop them when I'm bored. There are some I didn't finish even…
My "mild ocd" would probably not let me drop drama if I only had 2 eps left haha I would finish it on 2x speed and skipped some scenes, but I would finish it.
but yeah, I feel like I'm mood dropper. I can drop a good drama just coz I'm not in a mood, but finish really bad one, coz "why not". There is not much thought put into my dropping.
Since you have to watch a lot dramas for the job, I can't blame you for dropping shows you don't enjoy that much.

oh... you have really good system! having dropping zones... maybe I should try it. It seems "fair" and I would…
I have never seen him in anything, but I see that I have "Accidentally in Love" on my ptw. God knows when I get to watch it tho hahahaha

I started dropping with my 8th drama I watched and I dropped a lot at the beginning of my drama journey but back…
saw it as "moving on" instead of "leaving something behind" < that's a gooood mindset. At first I felt so guilty about dropping dramas, now I find it funny that I cared so much.
And yeah, at the end of the day, watching dramas should be form of entertainment, and we should not force ourselves to watch something that is either boring or annoying to us :) I;m with you on dropping dramas whenever it feels right. And it';s cool you are still open for the 2nd chances :)

oh... you have really good system! having dropping zones... maybe I should try it. It seems "fair" and I would feel less like I might be missing on some good dramas just coz I dropped them on episode 1.
Would you mind spilling the tea, what actor you are talking about? hahaha I'm curious
