I must be in the minority then but I would love to see a deeper relation with Sun Woo and Hyun Ji.Sun woo must…
same. I am questioning whenever Jenny's and sun Woo's feeling for each other can be even called romantic love. She is seeing him more as a link to her past self and sacred haven. Like the only person who "truly knows her" and keeps her sane. And for him he is just fixated on the past and have a huge sense of responsibility. The connection between them is strong but I would never put them together in a romantic relationship.
I love Sun Woo and Hyun Ji tho. The relationship they have is more natural and well balanced.

Do you have more recommendations for someone who's feeling like that?
tbh I don't quite remember how this drama made me feel, so it would be hard to recommend something similar... it's been 2 years after all...

Title Secret Boutique Spoiler
by looking at the trailer i'm wondering if there is romance, because i see most of the people here are old ones
one of the genres is romance + first 2 episodes (or 4, depends on what format you are watching it with) quite clearly shown who is into who. If I had to guess, Sun Woo will slowly get into Hyun Ji and give up on Jenny.

I dont think I can't get myself to invest more episodes until I here confirmtion that MinJae is the actual lead…
I like Gong Seung Yeon scenes when she is more quiet, but when she is screaming... it's just over the top. I don't feel god about her character here too...

Does this have a major love triangle? If so then im not watching it. Like i HATE love triangles
I don't think so? There are some romance difficulties, but nothing I would describe as your typical kdrama love triangle.

If we believe the characters chart, Min Jae is 100% male lead and the end game :(

Title Strangers from Hell Spoiler
I don't think it has to end in a good way. It would make perfect sense for it to have tragic ending.
well the theme is really dark: mental health issue, murder, manipulation, abuse, ptsd, etc. Male lead instead of getting better is getting worse with every ep. I don't see how this all could lead to happy ending. But it also depends on what do you understand under the term "happy ending".

I can tell you if you don't mind spoilers. You can check characters chart too to find out
Ma Hoon (the silent leader matchmaker) is the male lead character that will end ep with Gae Ddong. Lee Soo (The King) is the 2nd lead. The characters chart shows love line between Ma Hoon and Gae Ddong, and only one sided love between GaeDdong and Lee Soo. Which is stupid tbh, coz they established in first 2 episodes that Gae Ddong at least strongly likes Lee Soo... But yeah, sadly Ma Hoon is the end game.

I haven't read the webtoon, but I still don't see how this drama can end in a good way.

I know who she will end up with but I already wish she did with the other dude. I might drop it because of that…
Yeah, before watching episodes I was ready to ship Gae Ddong with Ma Hoon since i love Kim Min Jae. But
Gong Seung Yeon has honestly way better chemistry with
Seo Ji Hoon and it's so frustrating ;/

Yeah, Ma Hoon, the "silent" leader dude. What frustrated me was that on the characters chart it showed the romance between him and Gae Ddong and that Lee Soo is in one sided love with Gae Ddong. They literally were about to get married and she is trying her best to find him. It's obvious she loves him. I don't know, I don;t like the romance in this drama... I prefer the king over the matchmaker...

After watching the first episode, I decided to drop this as both guys feel like main lead. If I ship the wrong…

I feel you on this one. Especially with how preview of ep 13 is kind of focused on them!

Only 6 days ago I was calling this a masterpiece, now it is getting a bit ridiculous...
Up till episode 12 it was amazing, but eps 13 and 14... I don't know... lightsabers were a bit much for me hahaha

True. I mean i wrote that comment before watching episode 5. Now I feel like Joon Ho is a progressive, but is in conservatives just because of his father, and Dae Han is just all over the place. But we need to also remember that being more left or right leaning does not mean you have to agree with all the stuff in said ideology. Maybe (highly doubt it) Dae Han agrees with progressives in all aspect except from abortion + honestly I am so use to politicians calling themselves one thing and doing an opposite, this just looks really realistic for me. In Poland conservatives want to give high social aid/welfare to everyone, when the progressives want to take it back. Does not exactly fit the ideologies too hahaha

So what is a problem, the subs or the logic of people who are writting this show? It says that Wi Dae Han represents…
He is representing progressives because the other guy is conservative. He wanted to be in the show, he would call himself whatever is necessary to be part of the cast. At least that's what I think is happening. He goes with whatever gives him more opportunities.

I would say this is a bit unfair of you. Just because the drama is not dark does not mean it's shallow. Just because…
I would say majority of dramas have serious topic in them, but some present them in a lighter way to make them more approachable. I rarely come across a drama that has literally nothing going on for them except from the cutesy romance. Just the presentation of the topic is different. Sometimes they fail with the delivery, but the topic was there.
That said, people who expect from this drama light and fun story made a huge mistake, especially since all the promotion done for it and tags + synopsis does clearly show what kind of show it is. I understand the intention behind your comment and I agree with it, I just feel like delivery of it was unnecessarily strong that it came off as aggressive. It would have the same meaning without 1st sentence or at least the use of the "shallow" word), but it would not come off as belittling people who might like lighter dramas. Again, sorry for a long reply. I just want to make sure there is no misunderstand here.

Seriously, if you're not into dark dramas with deeper themes just stick to your usual cute and romantic and shallow…
I would say this is a bit unfair of you. Just because the drama is not dark does not mean it's shallow. Just because there is a lot of romance and it's "cute" also does not mean it's shallow. There are people who for some strange reason start watching drama not fitting their taste and then rate them low in both groups. There are planty of people who start watching dramas which clearly had in synopsis that it will be lighthearted drama with romance and some daily problems and then complain it was boring and not exciting enough. I myself like both types: cute romance and horror and would never just say one genre is better than the other. To be honest, majority of dramas has some serious topics in them, they just present them in a different way.
I'm sorry for the lengthy comment, but while I agree with your 2nd sentence, the 1st one seemed passive-aggressive for me. Even if you did not mean to call all the "simpler and nor dark" dramas as shallow, it did come out this way.
