This feels like a bad copy of Suspicious Partner..
how can this feel like a bad copy when it started airing before SP?

I know but the problem I have: she in not cruel, just an idiot. The fact she was surprised her grandfather may kill Crown Prince showed that. There is a difference between evil character planning shit to gain whatever he/she wants and some idiot doing random stuff without consideration of the situation they are in. I love true villains who know that they are bad but they just don;t care. I hate selfish characters who want to pretend like they did nothing wrong. And that's exactly how they created her character.

this drama was such a bull*hit but a good one. The one you watch when you feel like life fu*ked you over few times too many. 9/10 for sure.

there is no possible way to redeem Kim Hwa Gun character at this point. she was literally okay for person to get their hand cut off and possible for his family to die from starvation as a consequence coz she has a crush on dude. True psychopath tbh. It's impossible for me to like her. Even if she will turn good and die for the right cause... nope. She's done for me. Which is sad coz I liked her in 2 first eps.

I read some comments and people don't like Ji Eun Hyuk, but I like him. A lot. I know there is HUGE possibility that he was the dude Ji Wook's gf cheat on with but we don't know the whole story behind it yet.

yeah but even if that was a point he would still be immune only to that one specific poison not ALL poisons around the world hahaha They could have gone with him being immune to that one poision and I would probably not complain but it's ridiculous to assume he was immune to them all hahaha

'now he is immune to all the poisons' Really? I mean... really... where's fantasy in the tags for…
not really. even in that time period assuming someone is immune to all poisons because he did not die once is ridiculous if we talk about someone who was suppose to have a profound knowledge about medicine. It was known since around 120–63 BC that you can develop immunity if you ingested small doses of poisons (tho the first few tries ended with death, but the idea was alive and it does work for few types of poisons). But it would work only for that one specific poison. I mean it's suppose to be around 1700'in the drama. I feel like that scene to some extent undermines actual knowledge and capability of scholars at that time period. I would not comment on that if it was said by any other character in the drama than the one dude who is suppose to know shit about medicine. If he knows he needs specific antidote, he would also know you can't get immune after surviving being poisoned once. Sorry for a long comment but I truly think they are making those people more stupid than they really were.

this drama is like a good strong alcohol: makes you dizzy and excited but hangovered the next day.
Can't wait for the next episodes.

This is kind of out of the topic but seeing Seol Woo I wonder when we will have female characters super skilled,…
there are MANY female characters with special skills. Just from the newest dramas: Tunnel we have extraordinary psychologist Jae Yi, Queen of Mistery Seol Ok even without any training is better at solving crimes than male characters, Whisper Yeong Joo whom many could easily classified as someone with some psychopathic tendencies, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is obvious one with Bong Soon having special power, Voice had a female lead with some 'superpower' ish thing and she was amazing at her job, Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim all female characters are extremely skilled and as good or even better in their job than males, Woman with a Suitcase Geum Joo was LITERALLY the most skilled character in the whole drama, Moon Lovers: IU character time traveled, Bring It On, Ghost Sohyun's character was a ghost which is definitely special, Doctors with both female lead character being extremely good doctors and Park Shin Hye character being EXTREMELY smart... up to genius I would say, Pied Piper with the main girl being one of the most skilled negotiator, Descendants of the Sun obviously with all the medical team amazing skills, Signal with Soo Hyeon being the best crime investigator from any drama ever. I haven't seen all the dramas from 2016 and newest ones from 2017 but even in the ones I saw there are A LOT of interesting female characters with some special skills.

There are 2 things that bother me about this drama: female lead (which for now I don't mind that much with the hope of some serious character development) AND (which is way more important) it does not have define genre. It's neither action nor comedy nor melo nor romance. I know most dramas have variety of different genres mixed in them but they have this defined style or feeling too. If the drama has it's focus on action and crime the jokes are made to fit into the pace and that style. Here the scenes with PHJ feel like a totally different drama than the ones with PSW and different from the whole 'election conspiracy' part. I can't get into watching it coz I get distracted by the constant change of pace and style. The jokes are too silly compared to the serious scenes, the romance too cringy next to the action sequences. They tried to put everything in this drama and somehow it just doesn't work out for them. Even the characters don't match well if you take into account all the scenes so far.

People find the female lead annoying, but it's understandable. Follow me, she's a big fan...possibly…
I can't speak for others but for me it's not only the way she treats Seol Woo that annoys me. She is too obsessive. The whole scene where Woon Gwang was kissing with that actress in the car was too much. Also the fact that they even hired her as Woon Gwang's manager is just way too unrealistic for me to enjoy her presence in the drama.

It's really hard to fully enjoy this drama with Kim Min Jung.. Hopefully her character won't be like…
I feel you. I just can't like her character at all. I had the same problem while watching Strong Woman Do Bong Soon coz they made Bong Soon into bully and I just couldn't like her as much as I wish I could. Cha Do Ha is just so unlikable for me and her 'relationship' with Woon Gwang is just way too unrealistic tbh.

Title Tunnel Spoiler
I'm saying it here: Forensic dude is shady af. At the end of 8th ep when he said 'I told him not to chase him but to wait for him' I think he was talking about Ho Young (the prime suspect of the murder) not Seon Jae. It adds up with what Jae Yi said in the next scene. That Ho Young started leaving the bodies in display as a bait for Seon Jae. The 'leaving bodies' is the 'chase' forensic dude was talking about. It just feels like he is involved in the case and with Ho young somehow. He acts weird too. Like, the overall aura of the 'villain with a plot twist' from dramas.
Update:
After writing I read some ('some' haha like 3 pages) comments and I see few people think the same way which just makes me think it's even more possible for the forensic guy to be involved. I'm not the only one who finds him shady.
