"Casting wise… you do not put the stronger actress to first portrayal the character that will be replaced by…
Putting aside that one is better than other skills wise, I think what bothered me more is the complete disconnect between how one and the other portrayed the character. Made me feel like they did not even have a short chat about how both of them understood the character and how she should be showed during the drama.

What’s more, I honestly did not care that much about the “big picture”. Separate cases were interesting,…
I think after first 2-3 episodes I just overall expected something more dynamic both from the characters and the plot. But it was such a steady pace and leads did not develop nor changed at all...

I'm currently trying to watch this because of it's popularity and the fact that I've been rec'd it from a friend…
Dylan Wang is hot, that's why there was so much hype 🤣🤣🤣

Title Leap Day Spoiler
Logic is not really this show strength I agree on that lmao. From what I understood both Day and Night's moms were…
Even if you "induce" the delivery, getting it EXACTLY at 12am and 12pm is still close to impossible 🤣 " It's a bit of a stretch, but not impossible." it's not like specific details are impossible, but the sum of all these things is close to impossible.

Maybe that's the day for the curse to spread? Both get cursed, but curing will only cure one. But curing yourself will also lead to two more people getting cursed. So from 2 people, if they decide to cure themselves, 4 more will be cursed.

Title Leap Day Spoiler
Logic really stopped happening or what?

So 2 ways to "get" Leap day:
1. Naturally born with it.
2. Getting it transmitted onto you.

But somehow Day and Night are both? Coz when Kittiphop was explaining it he said Night and Day got it in the natural way being born 12AM and 12PM on Leap Day. But Doc said he transmitted it onto Night? So which one is it? Or they are overly complicating it, when it's just one way to be cursed but for some reason they are giving two.

Also... the cure for it is literally less realistic to happen than the leap day cure itself. You want to tell me he found 2 pregnant ladies in one hospital, due on the same day. Somehow he was the one to deliver both babies at the EXACT time he needed as if he can force a baby to come out at the exact time. Like... I am sorry, but what 🤣

I mean... teenagers are scary 🤣🤣🤣

You have perfectly captured what I felt about the drama. Your review has also helped me reframe how I thought…
After first two episodes I was kind of expecting a big character development, but then around half way through I started to understand we won't get it. And I think to some extent that made me enjoy the drama more 😅

This is fictional country. Emmaly is blending in Thai and other various cultures royalty and more. ☺️
Put aside Thai then and create a fictional culture that is a mix of different Asian cultures. So it make sense for that geographical setting. There is exactly zero reasons except for aesthetics for it to be this European

yeah and it makes no sense in terms of styling with where it's geographically located lol

I cannot stop laughing how Thailand knows their target audience in the western counties that that's probably why everything is so European royalty coded in terms of aesthetics 🤣 Also 12 years old Disney Fans coded 🤡

But also, I don''t know... it kind of bothers me how European coded the cultural background of this imagined land is... coz like why? It's literally in Asia no? Where is this level of European influence even be coming from? Thai culture is so rich and grand and beautiful... Not that European is not, but the same way I would find it strange if a Polish production made a show that is clearly influenced by any Asian country while also setting it among other European countries, the same way it seems off here. It's just yet again another prove that the whole show is based on aesthetics alone...

I don't know. Like I love cheesy and ridiculous cringe trope filled romance like any other girl, but when they try to build the plot to be more than a royal romance adding like politics and historical background and it's all so juvenile in quality I cannot 🤣

That said, I appreciate how both Khanin and Charan do not trust the king and feel like something is sus. With how everything is dumb and illogical, I appreciate any moment of clarity.

Ramil, Paytai and Prince Rachata's dynamic and story I find FAR more interesting and less annoying because it's more "local" and personal. Everything happens behind closed door and is focused on the connection and power and control between them, so we do not seen any additional ridiculous external context.

That said, I'm happy for people who enjoy it and I'm 100% so happy to see people analyzing it and dissect every little moment and interaction coz from personal experience I know that makes drama watching even more enjoyable.

I would have liked to see Minato struggle more consistently with his desire; but what we got is a man who seems to be quite content with the way things are for the most time.< had a bit similar thought. How I saw it was that things were happening around and to Minato without him actively taking part in it, and he was reacting to them at the moment and then... nothing. There was no deeper reflection, nor change in his behavior etc. He was stuck in the cycle of copy paste reactions...

I was for sure more mad at the mother. I think as a mother she has an obligation to prioritize her son, while Uncle had no real obligation to anyone so him acting like a coward for me was more justified.

She ALWAYS prioritized herself, her feelings, her pain, her fears. Not once was her son her priority. She he should have been.

In also sucked, but I did see him has less of the evil. Wang should obviously not end up with him, coz they would just live in a limiting "safe bubble" together never truly staying true to themselves, and that's just sad. Wang is brave enough to explore, while both the mother and In were too cowardly and in denial.

We perceived the drama in totally opposite ways! 😂 Let’s start with: everything was mild>>>> YESS. But an…
I liked how it was mild 🤣🤣🤣 For me it was fun intentional mundane mild, not the boring we don't care mild hahaha

Yeah I think there is a high chance you would not watch it if you have seen HP, coz it's similar in the genre. Both are for sure more slice of life in medical setting, rather than medical dramas with slice of life.
Jojo May 18, 2025
My personal preference when it comes to medical dramas leans towards bustling hospital corridors, tense surgeries or a team coming together when lives are at stake under pressure. < okay so yeah, we just like completely different thing in medical shows, coz I actually praised this drama for showing how mundane and not thrilling working at hospital often is 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Your opinion hurts my little heart, but I still think it's a great review 💖💖

So by the end some unexpected feelings happened lol

🙂I was not mad about the mild closer for some things.
🔥Pyo Nam Gyeong became my favorite character from the main cast.
🥲The 1h and 40 minutes last episode seemed so fucking short I am mad, I need more.
🥰Without going into details one love line was I curious about coz of the dynamics was kind of meh, and the other that seemed at first like an afterthought, gave me biggest butterflies with one scene.
😭 I want one season for each residency year

Overall, damn I enjoyed it WAY MORE than I expected after episodes 1-2. It grew on me a lot, so did characters. I love how there were no impressive and massive character development, just people learning how to deal with their flaws.

I love how a lot of cases were mundane, and it was not all high tension epic thrills in ER. As an office worker I like how they presented working in a hospital in less glamorized fashion - them doctors also spend hours filling papers and doing boring shit. Completely different field than mine, but still managed to be so relatable in many areas.

Is it fun? Sure.
It is also extremely fucking dumb to the point I feel like they did ZERO work on the plot and logics and just focused on aesthetics? Also yes.

1. The only person with actual brain seems to be the bad guy. I am rooting for the bad guy. Everyone else just seems painfully irresponsible.
2. I hope the fencing is not the only way the pick the rulers, coz what the actual fuck would that be.
3. Apparently spaghetti is not italian anymore, it's a food from a lad that does not exist they created (just create a random dish that does not exist too, why steal from Italy lol).
4. They be putting aesthetics over logic so bad it's cinge - why the fuck would DNA test that just gives you percentage need to fucking load. My phone is apparently better technology than their fancy shit.
5. The way the whole economy of ALL the regions is based on one specific material they export lol No one specialized in anything else than gold, diamonds, pearls lol
6. The truest villain is the grandpa. Fuck him. Omg not only he awful he is also dumb. I think this is where they are leaning, that he is in fact the evil mastermind, and it's either annoyingly obvious, or annoying poorly done red herring.
7. THEY NEED TO FUCKING STOP WITH THE SMOOTHING FILTER ON ZEE'S FACE. It's tragically bad. Like, it's basically distracting. I cannot focus on anything except how his nose literally blends into his face in some shots. They are doing him so dirty with the filters...

That said, i still be seated for new episode next week 🤡
