When their separate scenes still have some significance for each other. When you can see how their actions, motivations, reasonings are planning is influenced by the other person. When you can see how they change each other and start to trust and understand each other, even when they are separated.

Theme songs are ALWAYS ridiculously hard to perform and they are supposed to be hard to perform. Made for higher vocal range, quick tempo, a lot of details and a lot of big movements not only help differentiate between bad and good trainees, but also among the good trainees between the true all-rounders and those who still lack in some aspects. But to evaluate that, you need to watch everyone perform alone, or at worst in small groups, you need to hear them sing etc. I mean... this song is not easier than YWY S3 theme song, and we had Lisa, who had years of experience and is known as one of the best performers in kpop saying after one take dance she was close to puking. And yet they had these trainees, some who had zero or one month of training dance it like 20 times? UNPROFESSIONAL, that's what it is.

Also, I'm sorry, but out of all the judges Lee Seung Gi having his "mentor" moment talking about how important determination and skills are when he went against the judges during auditions and passed the dude just for his AI face, when he had ZARO skills. They should have made Lee Seung Gi just the main MC. He knows nothing about being idol and he is obviously not up to date with the industry at all. He is a ballad singer who is now mostly known for his acting...

Getting pissed about international trainees is ridiculous, because literally everyone makes it about nationality. It's not like Korean trainees would pick other Koreans' to push off top 9 seats. If nationality was not important why all the Korean trainees and the judges made it seem like last Korean trainee to perform was their last hope?

Watching this just makes me want to rewatch Youth With You season 3. Also... great job iqiyi, making me not subscribe for vip because of the lack of professionalism in episode 2 🙂

Lee Seung Gi has a nerve talking about performing 30 songs during the concerts when he is a ballad singer 🤡 Literally NOT ONE GROUP performs all dance tracks. The sets are ALWAYS prepared to make sure there are some songs to make the performance possible. You either mix slower songs between the dance track, you have unit and solo performances so other member can take a moment off the stage, you have taking bits when idols just talk to audience, video format breaks. NO ONE just dances non stop.

The production team should be crying and thanking god that nothing serious happened. I cannot comprehend how neglectful this shit was.

i want all the judges to dance the theme song 10 times in a row and them let the people evaluate them on that 10th attempt, coz I wam 100% sure they would not be as charming a they think they would be 🤣 Even during 2-3h long concert idols with years of experience hace, they do have breaks to rest - be it video format things prepared before the concert, well planned unit, duet and solo performances etc.

why the judges even there? I care about their opinion as experts, but when the format makes it impossible for them actually objectively judge the performance, I stop giving a shit about what they say and what they think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The theme song evaluation was such a fucking dumb idea and both iQiyi and SBS were so fucking lucky nothing happen like what the actual fuck. If you make them dance over and over again for god truly knows how long, at least don't fucking put them on platform when they can literally pass out and die from the fall. Safety wise this was such a fucking huge neglect I cannot even comprehend how no one explained to them in a proper manner how wrong it is. Like, putting aside COMPLETELY how inhuman it was to make them dance like that over and over again, it was just fucking unsafe 🤡

What makes me the most angry is... it's just a dumb method of evaluation of skills... 68 people dancing at the same time? You won't see shit! Like, it's unfair no matter how you look at it, and while it;s true the whole industry is unfair, the judges themselves should objectively evaluate the skills of the trainees, and the "luck" should play as little of a role as possible. You cannot objectively evaluate shit when you need to judge 68 people at the same time during performance that lasts 3 minutes and 27 seconds. The whole evaluation is just unprofessional in all aspect.

Not gonna lie, personally loved Love Dive the most. The song rearrangement was amazing, visually it was stunning, they had vocals and dancing on point. And the concept stood out the most out of all the groups and performances.

I am not sure how I feel about episodes 5-6 😅
I guess it depends on where they will lead by the end.

Previous episodes I was pissed at Ju Yeong for keeping in contact with Do Hoe's dad and basically being like a new son to him. This episode I am pissed with Do Hoe coz damn dude's behavior is toxic as fuck...

I honestly hope the editing for the preview is misleading coz if Lee Seung Gi legit asked if they came to be idols, after Kachine pointed out they are also human not machines, I will be so disgusted.

Being an idol does not mean you stop being a human with hardships... Instead of saying that they knew what they sign up for, how about actually addressing how fucked up the industry is and how it should be changed? however, I find it interesting that he demanded this benefit for himself instead of his teammate because he was so successful beforehand. < as i said... water song had honestly ONE main part and the rest was all support, while in fire the parts were more even. It makes sense to use it for water performance. That's why the other team that was 1st and could pick their parts ALSO wanted to use it for water.

As for lifting the shirt... ALL of them were showing the barely existing skinny abs, I just found it so funny 🤣

i think it was less about evil editing and more about how they saw Cravity's ace as someone on the same level as them, while seeing Hwanwoong as someone "above" them skill wise. In their mind most likely they honestly thought hwanwoong does not really need that part to ace the performance anyway, and him taking it means zero chance of someone else winning. While with Cravity taking the best line it just means they need to work harder to "steal" the spotlight, but it's still possible.

Also... as they themselves said - Fire song had more evenly distributed parts, while Water was Part 3 and the boys...
