I have watched DOTS and read The White Olive Tree novel and honestly, DOTS hold no candle to this one.

Personally, I'd dare say that Chen Zheyuan as Li Zan is out of this world. I'm struggling to find the right words to describe it now, but having read the novel, I understand why the novel fans initially had doubts. Li Zan is truly a character fans would fiercely defend, must be protected at all cost. And fortunately, the production team entrusted Chen Zheyuan with the role, and I have no doubt he will deliver.

Comparing Chen Zheyuan's portrayals of Li Zan and Duan Jiaxu, it's difficult to pick a favorite because I truly love both characters. However, if I had to choose, I would say I have a slight preference for Li Zan. Li Zan and Jiaxu are like two sides of the same coin - different yet similar in many ways.

Currently on a strict diet for 🍉 so I am just gonna sit here and patiently waiting to watch him on Keep Running. Based on the information on Keep Running S12's page, Zheyuan is a guest on the fourth episode and it will air on May 17th. Time is never ticking this slowly.

I've watched one of the actress' dramas before, and personally, I wasn't very impressed with her acting. However, I'm unsure about her performances in her other dramas; perhaps they were better.

If they didn't include the epilogue in the drama, we would be fine but seems like the ultimate starter pack for this drama is ten boxes of tissue 😭

As for the "White Olive Tree" part, I couldn't say for sure, because the leaves of an olive tree are typically a medium to dark green color, although they can appear lighter or darker depending on factors such as sunlight exposure. However from the book, both Li Zan and Song Ran encountered a 'white' olive tree after quite a chaotic day. From the leaves to the branches, everything was immaculately white. The both couldn't quite believe what they see. Then, Li Zan said it was a mirage. (It was such a beautiful scene on the book, by the way.)

There are more scenes related to white olive tree but I couldn't mention, I am afraid it would be a spoiler.

Ah, that make sense. I initially thought the show only has a few episodes because it is a new show, it didn’t occur to me they have so many members and are divided into two groups. 😂 Thank you!
